Is TDP protecting Jagan Indirectly
TDP leaders are worried that their plan against the YSR Congress chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy using the tainted ministers issue, boomeranged on them.
By demanding the ouster of the ministers facing charges in the Jagan assets case, TDP felt it could nail both Jagan and the Congress. But on the other hand, YSRCP legislators succeeded in using the same issue to project Jagan as innocent. They questioned how Jagan who played no part in the administration could be kept in a jail, while the ministers who issued GOs were left alone.
Responding to the demand of the TDP, the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy said the ministers were innocent. He argued that they had not violated any law. YSR Congress argued how then Jagan could have violated any law. If the ministers acted within the limits of law by issuing those controversial GOs, how could Jagan be blamed of violating any law, they questioned. This unexpected contention shocked the TDP leaders. Leaders started doubting if they were inadvertently supporting Jagan.
Minister Kanna Lakshmi Narayana has even questioned if the TDP colluded with the YSR Congress as both the parties were voicing the same demand. This threw TDP off balance. They had no answer for the minister’s question.
Thinking deeply about the issue, TDP leaders are now reportedly thinking that stretching the tainted ministers issue too far, would only help Jagan. Instead of harping on the issue, the TDP leaders now reportedly decided to enlighten the people that it was due to their efforts that ministers Sabita Indra Reddy and Dharmana Prasada Rao were made to resign. They also wish to tell the people that the Chief Minister was trying to shield ministers who helped Jagan amass wealth and create an impression that it was the Congress and the YSR Congress that were in collusion.
Aim of KCR’s family is collecting money
Samaikyandhra leader Parakala Prabhakar said the Telangana movement launched by the TRS started with donations and now it assumed the proportion of settlements. Now collection of money became the real movement of KCR’s family, he said.
Talking to the media here on Saturday, he said excepting shouting, TRS leaders were doing nothing else. He said he would soon set up the statue of Suravaram Pratapa Reddy in Vijayawada, Madapati Hanumanta Rao in Kurnool and Burgula in Tirupati.
Danam Nagender kicked the driver
Labour minister Danam Nagender known for his rashness was once again at it. He kicked the driver of Administrative Staff College in the presence of police.
There was a dispute over the compound wall of the Nallapochamma temple in Devarakonda Basti between the residents and the Administrative Staff College. When the colony residents called the minister, he came straight to the place. College staff and police had already reached the place. Danam asked the bulldozer driver of the college to stop. When he did not, Danam kicked him with his leg in the presence of the police. TV cameras telecast this scene.
Even as the staff were explaining the situation to the minister, he did not listen to him and assaulted the driver, in the presence of the police who were speechless. It may be recalled that Danam was charged of manhandling a police sub inspector in connection with the ISKCON temple dispute.
No ‘Telangana’ emotion now
Vijayawada Congress MP Lagadapati Raja Gopal said that emotions (of Telangana) had now subsided.
Talking to the media here on Saturday, he said packages should be given to all the backward regions. He has expressed confidence that Congress would win the local body elections as well as the next general elections.
Nithin showing stars to filmmakers
Nitin who scored back to back hits with Ishq and Gunde Jaari Gallantayyinde to be back on success track is showing stars to filmmakers. After Nitin’s success many filmmakers are competing to make films with him but the rate quoted by Nitin’s dad Sudhakar Reddy is showing stars to them.
Earlier Nitin used to take Rs 50-60 lakhs but Nitin’s dad started demanding more than his market value. Analysts feel if he scores another it, his price will skyrocket.

According to sources while filmmakers planned to title the film as Andagadu, Puri suggested a mass title ‘Maro Chiruta’. Entire mega family is happy with the title. So mega fans are now eagerly awaiting the arrival of Maro Chirutha!
Sonakshi Loves her….
Actress Sonakshi Sinha is one of the few actresses who wears a nose accessory even on screen. She says it is convenient to wear and gives her the ‘desi’ look. Sonakshi had her nose pierced when she was 16.
“I have worn a nose ornament right from my first film (‘Dabangg’) and I keep altering from a nose ring to a stud,” Sonakshi, who is known for sporting various Indian avatars in her films, said in a statement. The 26-year-old will flaunt a nose ring once again in her forthcoming film “Lootera”. The actress will wear a traditional nose ring, which also enhances her character in the movie.
“I have used a very traditional Bengali-looking nose stud in the shape of a flower. It’s a hassle-free accessory and is also the mark of an Indian woman,” she tweeted.
One more allegation against KTR
TRS MLA KTR who has been facing a series of allegations is now facing one more. Dalits are alleging that he has been annexing their lands.
Mala Mahanadu has on Saturday staged a demonstration against KTR in Sircilla. They burnt his effigy at the Gandhi Chouk. As TRS cadres tried to obstruct them, there was tension for a wile. Police lathi-charged both groups and dispersed them. 12 workers of Mala Mahanadu were arrested.
Mahesh babu Fans Upset
Mahesh babu has many times repeatedly explained his strong opinion of never to touch any of his dad Super Star Krishna�s super hit films for remakes. Media continuously buzzed and Fans pressed Mahesh to go at least for one remake in order to satisfy them but the actor never responded positively. �I do not want to spoil those iconic films,� was the reply from Mahesh. This shows his respect towards Krishna and his film.
These days with the entry of Sudheer Babu, looks like the calculations are changed and the �Prema Katha Chithram� hero does not have any inhibitions in speaking his thoughts with an open mind. �I want to act in the remake �Alluri Seetharamaraju� but I do not know, whether it is possible or not,� is the single line from Sudheer which has upset the mahesh babu Fans. Now, Sudheer Babu also signed a new film titled as �Mayadari Malligadu� in direction of a new comer. This is the title of Krishna�s hit film of past. Is Sampoo a failure in Andhra Pradesh
After an interaction with few of the friends in USA, we heard that Telugu NRIs there are eagerly waiting for new updates on release date of Sapoornesh Babu�s �Hrudaya Kaleyam.� Though, this movie could be a bizarre spoof on our Star Telugu Heroes and their action filmy concepts but Sampoo has garnered a good following which could ignite the BO and generate revenues.
But, how far is pulse of domestic Telugu audience same as NRI Telugus? Yes, none in B, C centers are aware of who this sampoornesh babu is? In fact, some sections of public in Metros and A centers; who never get directly in touch with Internet or Social Networking doesn�t even know this name of Burning Star. Better, Sampoo should begin his mass promotions on TV and Print Media else all his hard work done on Net may go futile because one cannot release a movie completely trusting just on NRIs. For the moment, Sampoo is a failure in Andhra Pradesh and a hit in America.
Pawan Donate 20 Lakhs for flood victims
North India especially the states of Uththarakhand and Himachal Pradesh are passing through the worst phase of havoc with recent floods. The pilgrim centers like Kedarnath is still submerged deep in water with death count still on rise and rehabilitation, rescue works from state and central governments in progress. Hearing the call from Central government for liberal donations to recover the states from damage, we came to know that pawan kalyan has sent Rs.20 Lakhs of cheque as a gesture of monetary support for the flood victims from his side.
This amount may not be so high from his celebrity status point of view but this should inspire and stimulate the Fans associations of other heroes to help the needy people in North. Chiranjeevi, being the Minister of Tourism is also closely monitoring the rescue operations.
‘Bahubali’ on IMAX!
Image Maximum (IMAX) is one of the innovative film making formats used for increasing the resolution of pictures. This gives far better quality of presentation on screen but at the same time producers should also multiply their investments. There are very few films, few prints and a gradual increase in well equipped theatres where IMAX movies can be screened. SS rajamouli, the creative director of Telugu industry and his team are now in analysis of IMAX format both on cost and revenue aspects to find out the feasibility of applying this technology for their new film of �Bahubali.�
Starring Prabhas, Rana and Anushka in leads, rajamouli and his team are deep struck studying the various possibilities on taking this movie to larger section of world wide audience. If at all, �Bahubali� goes on IMAX format�it will be a definite wonder on Indian cinema.
For Action, is this oppsite reaction
Reaction of audience towards the first 3D comic film of �Action� is not at all pleasing. Except for some praises on producer cum director Sunkara Anil�s passion for innovative strategy in film making, no where �Action� got a positive report. Especially, length of nearly 160 minutes has become the big set back to test the patience of public. May be well wishers of Anil Sunkara have suggested going for immediate trimming of second half and he agreed.
As per media reports, nearly 15 minutes of second half is curtailed to save the audience. Definitely, this is a positive move and viewers watching this new version might be happier. Anil should have done this much earlier once he watched the final cut because the preview show screened might have got positive reports and thus at least some facing reviews. Let us see, how far this reaction from makers will help the �Action� to sustain at BO.
Will Trisha Reject Balayya
Trisha after her films Bodyguard, Dammu with Venkatesh and NTR in 2012 almost faded from Tollywood. However she bagged a role in MS.Raju’s RUM. Now recently news erupted that Trisha is starring in Balakrishna’s Jayasimha under Boyapati Srinu direction.
Trisha’s last film Dammu is also directed by Boyapati. He was of the opinion that Trisha would do justice for the film. However even before any word from Boyapati, Trisha made it clear that she did not sign any new project in Telugu. She said that if she signs, media will hear from her than from third source.
Sridevi to match steps with choreographer Prabhudeva
Bollywood actor Sridevi is all set to match steps with ace choreographer Prabhudeva at the upcoming International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards in Macau this July.
The gorgeous lady will make her comeback on stage as a performer after many years and will groove on some of her hit numbers including her famous hits �Hawa Hawai�, �Na Jane Kahan Se Ayi Hai�, �English Vinglish� among others from her three decades long career.
The performance is being choreographed by Prabhudeva, who will set the stage ablaze by showcasing some of his signature moves from �Muqabala� and many others.
Malayalam actress Swarna fell from fourth floor
Upcoming Malayalam actress Swarna Thomas fell from the balcony of a fourth floor flat and suffered multiple injuries. The 18-year old actress is undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit of a private hospital for spine and pelvic fractures and live contusion, hospital sources said.
Swarna fell from the balcony on Wednesday night and was in the Neuro ICU. The actress, recovering from fever in the past few days, was with her mother at the flat when the incident occurred.
According to family sources, Swarna felt dizzy and fell off the balcony. Swarna came to the limelight after participating in some dance reality shows of various television channels. She is the heroine in the film ‘Buddy’, the shooting of which is in progress here

It seems Mass Raja Raviteja’s stars are not smiling on him. Brahmin organisations are getting ready to take on his Balupu even before the film is censored.
However it is not Raviteja’s fault. All boils down to actress Surekha vani’s dialogues in the film. The trailer found Surekha Vani saying “manasu paddanu ante manobhavalu debbatinnayantunnaru’. This seems to be continuation of Denikaina Ready controversy.
Brahmin association president Dronamraju Ravikumar already submitted a request to censor board president Dhanalakshmi asking her to be strict with the filmmakers.
ANR against remake of Devdas
It is a known fact that Akkineni Nageswara Rao attained immense popularity with the film Devdas. The film directed by Vedantam Raghavayya turned ANR into Nata Samrat. Subbaraman’s music,Samudrala’s lyrics and Ghantasala’s songs complimented ANR’s extraordinary acting.
However when the film is all set to complete 50yrs on June 26th, ANR said he is against his superhit Devdas! He says he is against remaking the film by the present filmmakers.
He felt its better not to touch his Devdas! He felt even if someone makes it better than the earlier one, they may not be successful in making a lasting impact.
