Allu Arjun looked stunning in every sense for his upcoming entertainer ‘Race Gurram’. He was spotted in this new avatar while shooting for the flick in Milan. From costumes to hairstyle to footwear, everything is quite different from what he has tried until now. No doubt, fans will go crazy with the new stye statements he is gonna make in this racy entertainer.

‘Race Gurram’ stars Shruti Haasan as the female lead. The film is being directed by Surender Reddy of ‘Athanokkade’ and ‘Kick’ fame. Vakkantham Vamsi provided the story which is said to be high on entertainment. Music is by Thaman and Cinematography is by Manoj Paramahamsa (Ye Maya Chesave fame). The shooting of second schedule is in progress and makers are aiming for January 2014 release.

Choreographer-turned-Director Prabhudeva reveled about his style of composing dance moves for heroes and the working relation he used to share with them in a recent interview. He also showered praises on Chiranjeevi for the kind of effort he used to put for every film.

Whom according to you are the best dancers in Tolywood, Prabhu Deva replied, “I have done films with Chiranjeevi, Balakrsihna, Nagarjuna, Venkatesh, Mohan Babu and Rajasekhar. As a choreographer, we read how much they are capable off and compose the moves based on their body language. Everyone used to have their own style. I feel, anyone can dance if they have the interest. Though I was just 15-16 years old, all of my heroes used to respect me and they gave me the opportunities to prove my talent. I wholeheartedly thank all of them”.

He then added, “Chiranjeevi sir is superb. He is the king of hardworking. In those days, he used to call me for rehearsals in the evening and would dance before me by feeding me with yummy dosas made in his house. He is a complete package – acts well, has got a style and could dance like a dream. Among the young crop of heroes, Allu Arjun, Jr NTR and Ram Charan have been doing a fantastic job.”  

Prabhudeva began his career as an assistant to his father and choreographer Sundaram Master at the age of 14 and within one-and-a-half year he became a dance master. Out of 100 films he had choreographed till date, 80 were in the Telugu Film Industry and that’s the reason behind his close bonding with the Telugus.

When Mega Power Star Ram Charan announced his Bollywood entry with Zanjeer remake, mega fans celebrated it like a festival. However it seems stars are not smiling on him as the film till recently got entangled in legal problems.

After playing moderately safe characters down here in South, now Shruti Hasan changed the gear to go boldest in ‘Balupu’ and now in ‘D Day’ to be released soon in Hindi. Director Nikhil Advani’s ‘D Day’ is a film on cross border terrorism went for censor certification and got approved with U/A with few dialogue cuts mentioned. Reason for this is the Pakistan prostitute character played by Shruti who also mouthed some really awkward dialogues as part of her characterization.

‘I expected few objections on inflammatory dialogues about Pakistan but censor board has not even raised a single word or complaint regarding this. In return, some hardcore business lines of Shruthi bargaining with her clients as a sex worker are advised for tone down. I should get rid of these dialogues to obtain U/A certificate. I am so happy for censor board because they haven’t touched any dialogue on cross border terrorism,’ director Nikhil Advani said.

Hero Sumanth’s new film ‘Emo Gurram Egaraavachchu’ enters the last leg of its shoot. Currently, the movie is being canned at  a brisk pace in Ramoji Film City. According to the story, the heroine of this movie is a software engineer in the US. She wishes everything to be done in systematically. Coming to the selection of her husband, she seeks certain qualities in him. The rest of the story deals with whether the hero possesses the qualities required by her not.

Pinky Savika has done opposite to sumanth in this interesting movie. MM Keeravani has composed the music of the movie. Chandrasekhar Yeleti has directed this movie while Madan is producing the movie.

 

RR Movie Makers of RR Venkat has entered into Tollywood like a storm. They were almost near to changing the film equations of Telugu industry by experimenting with variety of business practices. At one time, even veteran players like Suresh Production, Geetha Arts and Dil Raju too stood shocked with the strategies of RR. Unfortunately, they disappeared from industry in no time with disasters like ‘Damarukam’ and never to release ‘Autonagar Surya.’

One among their profit making films was ‘Businessman’ of mahesh babu in the direction of Puri Jagannath. Though movie ran to full crowds in initial days of release in the hangover of ‘Dookudu,’ very soon the poor content and no story in it killed the revenues. However, Salman Khan seems to be one person who has shown interest on this script and sent his brother Arbaaz Khan for acquiring the remake rights from RR Movie Makers. The deal is heard to have been closed for a fair price and in this way Mahesh is still helping RR banner financially.

Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan is all set to undergo a brain surgery at Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai on Sunday afternoon.

Before leaving for the surgery, Hrithik commented, “We all know that we create a life of joy using the power of our mind. I’ve had the privilege of creating wonders with this amazing gift given to us called the brain. Occasionally one must look within and realize its value. Hrithik’s father and director Rakesh Roshan revealed that the actor will be undergoing a surgery called ‘Chronic Subdural Hematoma’ and people have to do so when there is some impact on the head.

Sources say, Hrithik has been doing heavy duty action since few months for the films Krrish 3 and Bang Bang. The surgery is a result of his determination to do death-defying stunts sans body double. Wish this finest actor in the country a speedy recovery!

There has been a buzz for the past two days that Power Star pawan kalyan’s ‘Aththarintiki Daaredi’ movie’s first look would be unveiled on  7th of July. However, it is reliably learnt that the first look of the movie will not be anyway releasing on 7th. Meanwhile, the makers are planning unveil the first look of the movie by next week.
