Shadow effect on meher ramesh
Director meher ramesh might have been in a deep shock as his latest offering ‘Shadow’ is likely to taste a disaster result at the box office. His poor execution of the film has been highly criticized by the critics. Apparently, the impact of the ‘Shadow’ has fallen on Meher’s next project. meher ramesh was earlier supposed to direct a movie in the combo of Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja and the title itself has tentatively been confirmed as ‘Power’. Welfare Creations, who were supposed to produce this movie, have reportedly dropped the idea of making this movie. Perhaps, the result of ‘Shadow’ made them to take such as crucial decision. We have to wait for more details on this news.
Victory Venkatesh and Taapsi were seen as the lead star cast of ‘Shadow’ while Srikanth and Madhurima played important roles. Thaman has scored the music of the film. The movie was produced by Paruchuri Murali on United Movies.
Samanta is celebrating her Birthday with NGO Foundation.
Samanta who is celebrating her Birthday today preferred to celebrate with her NGO Pratyusha Foundation. She says she gets more delight with the Foundation activities than her blockbuster hits.
She however unveiled her plans for Akshaya Tritiya. She says since it is good to buy Gold on the day even she planned for the same. She said she will be purchasing a necklace with Goddess Lakshmi idol. She says currently she is busy with 5 films.
Last opportunity for the Congress.
Telangana Political JAC chairman Prof. M. Kodandaram has said this was the last opportunity for the Congress government to carve out separate Telangana State.
Speaking to the media here on Sunday, Prof. Kodandaram said they would observe “Telangana Satyagraha” at Jantar Mantar here on Monday and Tuesday for achievement of Telangana State. Demanding that the Congress-led UPA government fulfill its promise of granting statehood to Telangana, Prof. Kodandaram said they would organize a Chalo Assembly program.
The TPJAC leader said he does not believe the words of Panchayat Raj Minister K. Jana Reddy that the Centre would announce Telangana State in May. He said they would intensify the Telangana movement with a slogan “Congress Ko Khatham Karo – Telangana Hasil Karo”.
Tower Star from Mega Star family
Don’t be under impression that arrival of Tower Star will be competition to Power Star Pawan Kalyan. This is because he is from Mega Family and is none other than Power Star’s brother Naga Babu. Till now he is not having any thing in front of his name but director Teja with his new film ‘1000 Abaddhalu’ is filling that vacuum.
According to insiders Naga Babu is doing a humorous role in the film and his name in the film is Tower Star. It shows Naga Babu trying to woo heroine Ester along with hero Sai Ram Shankar.
Balayya disappointed his fans.
The speech of hero Bala Krishna at the massive public meeting organized here on the occasion of the conclusion of the TDP chief Chandra Babu Naidu’s pada yatra disappointed his fans.
Party leaders and fans expected some fire works from Balayya as a vast crowd gathered to hear hi. Nandamuri fans cheered loudly when he took the mike. But they were disappointed when there were no crackers. Balayya spoke for just ten minutes and without any emotion. Party workers as well as Balayya’s fans were disappointed with his speech. He even faltered several times in his short speech.
Sailajanath : People permanently rejected TDP chief CBN
Stating that people of the State had permanently rejected TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu in 2004, Primary Education Minister S. Sailajanath has reminded the former that the people had dislodged him from power permanently even as he promised every thing free of cost to the masses. He also demanded that the former chief minister give an explanation on his assurance of changing everything if he was catapulted to power again.
Addressing the people in the Lal Bahadur Stadium here on Sunday after distributing bicycles to the poor Muslim girl students, Shailajanath asked whether Chandrababu Naidu would scrap all the ongoing welfare programs of the Congress government if he was voted to power in the next elections.
Alleging that the TDP president has miserably failed to function as Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly effectively to bring the problems of the people to the notice of the government, the minister said the former would not even retain his post of leader of Opposition after the next round of Assembly elections. Stating that the State was going on well at present, Shailajanath asked whether the TDP leader would create new problems for the people and the government.
Denying there were differences between Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy and his Deputy C. Damodara Rajanarasimha, the minister said they would sort out the issues, if any, themselves amicably.
Stating there were 26,000 Muslim students in the State, the minister said the State government had decided to provide bicycles to poor Muslim girl students with an intention to encourage them to continue their education.

Exciting welcome to CBN
TDP activists have given rousing welcome to their Chief N Chandrababu Naidu, when he came to the City after seven long months after completing 2800 kilometers long ‘Vstunna Meekosam’ padayatra, at Shamshabad here on Sunday. Chandrababu, after participating in a huge public meeting at Visakhapatnam on Saturday, stayed for the night there only and in the morning he had a darshan of Appanna Swamy and came to Hyderabad in a flight.
Large numbers of TDP activists have reached the Shamshabad Air Port to welcome their leader Chandrababu in a big way. The rally has started from VIP Gate. Cine actor and brother-in-law Balakrishna and son Lokesh accompanied Chandrababu. TDP activists have shown enthusiasm to shake hands with Chandrababu, Balakrishna and Lokesh. Thousands of vehicles have participated in the rally.
Chandrababu addressed a meeting arranged at Rajendranagar and later he participated in the rally, which proceeded through Mehdipatnam, Lakdikapul, NTR Ghat. Chandrababu paid floral tributes at NTR Ghat. Later, Chandrababu reached the NTR Trust Bhavan and stayed for a while and then left for his residence at Jubilee Hills Check Post. There several women offered ‘welcome harathi’ to Chandrababu.
In the evening, Chandrababu participated in the MRPS ‘Yudda Bheri’ meeting held at Uppal demanding the State government to increase the pension amount of the aged, widows and handicapped persons.
Lathi-charge in Chiranjeevi’s campaign
There was a stampede when the union minister Chiranjeevi came to campaign in some of the areas of Telugu population of Karnataka, on behalf of Congress.
In Gowribidanur, a place with a thick population of Telugu settlers, fans of the former Mega Star pushed each other, to have a look at him. There was stampede. Police had to lathi-charge the crowds to bring order. Chiranjeevi is going to tour areas with Telugu population asking the people to vote for Congress. It may be recalled that union minister and late N T Rama Rao’s daughter Purandareswari also toured some of the areas with Telugu population and campaigned for Congress.
