Actor Nani is keen to expand his market in Tamil too. After Veppam and Naan Ee, he will be testing his luck for the third time in Tamil with ‘Jameen’, the dubbed version of ‘Pilla Jamindar’. His first film ‘Veppam’ disappointed at box office while his second venture ‘Naan Ee’ was well received but the entire credit went to director Rajamouli. So Nani is desperate to make his own mark. The audio of ‘Jameen’ was launched recently.

Nani’s upcoming venture ‘Paisa’ is also getting released in Tamil simultaneously. So far all Tamil heroes have made their mark in Telugu and our Telugu heroes have slowly increased their pace in Tamil. Nani is first in this list and is expecting of crossing over to Tamil cinema.

Allu Arjun is currently busy wrapping up his Iddarammayilatho movie shoot. He will begin the shooting of his next under the direction of Surrender Reddy from 2nd of May. He will shoot nonstop till the completion. The makers are planning to release the movie for Vijaya Dasami, this year. Various titles like Race Gurram, Boochodu are currently floating in Filmnagar.

Shruti Hassan will be pairing up with Allu Arjun in this movie. Producers Nallamalapu Srinivas (Bujji) and & Dr K Venkateswara Rao will be producing this crazy combo together and Vakkantham Vamsi is penning the story. SS Thaman would compose the music for the first time for an Allu Arjun’s film.

Internationally acclaimed pop signer, Apache Indian has crooned his first Telugu song for Allu Arjun’s upcoming movie, Iddarammayilatho.  He was one of the most popular pop singers in 90s and Devi Sri Prasad is all set to unearth his talent for Telugu people. The album of Iddarammayilatho offers so much of promise as it is set to release at event today at Shilpa Kala Vedhika. The makers are planning to release the movie on May 24th.

Senior Telugu Producer Aswini Dutt’s daughter, Priyanka Dutt has got a rare honour. Her recent short film, Yadonki Baarath is selected for screening at the prestigious Cannes film festival. She will be the only one from Telugu film industry to be selected for Cannes this year. Priyanka is delighted with this news and credited the success to the whole movie unit. The film festival will begin from 15th May and will have its closing ceremony on May 26th.

Priyanka earlier tried her hand in producing movies but is yet to taste success in this arena. Her recent production ‘Sarocharu’ starring Ravi Teja, Kajal Agarwal and Richa Gangopadhyay was a big failure at the box office.

Ram Charan would grace the music launch of Allu Arjun-starrer Iddarammayilatho to be held in Hyderabad on Sunday. After the names of megastar Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan garnered momentum that the stars would grace the audio of Iddarammayilatho, the latest we hear is that Charan would be the guest of honor for the grand event.

Director meher ramesh might have been in a deep shock as his latest offering ‘Shadow’ is likely to taste a disaster result at the box office. His poor execution of the film has been highly criticized by the critics. Apparently, the impact of the ‘Shadow’ has fallen on Meher’s next project. meher ramesh was earlier supposed to direct a movie in the combo of Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja and the title itself has tentatively been confirmed as ‘Power’. Welfare Creations, who were supposed to produce this movie, have reportedly dropped the idea of making this movie. Perhaps, the result of ‘Shadow’ made them to take such as crucial decision. We have to wait for more details on this news.

Don’t be under impression that arrival of Tower Star will be competition to Power Star Pawan Kalyan. This is because he is from Mega Family and is none other than Power Star’s brother Naga Babu. Till now he is not having any thing in front of his name but director Teja with his new film ‘1000 Abaddhalu’ is filling that vacuum.

According to insiders Naga Babu is doing a humorous role in the film and his name in the film is Tower Star. It shows Naga Babu trying to woo heroine Ester along with hero Sai Ram Shankar.

While comparison of this film with ‘Jalsa’ continue to take on analysts sharing their view points, the commercial range of pawan kalyan is surely going to be raised by one more step is the final call every one anticipate so. Away from all this, Trivikram is known to have shared his views that Pawan’s market space is not completely tapped till now and he is on the process of exploration. If such words are really true, then Trivikram very well knows Pawan as his own competitor in breaking the records or establishing new benchmarks.

Did ‘Sitamma Vaakitlo’ heroine Anjali who recently created sensation by disappearing, get married to a big film producer?

At least that is what Tamil director Kalanjiyam is stating. He said when she claimed to have disappeared due to problems, she actually married a film producer. He demanded that she should clarify this matter in public.

It may be recalled that Anjali had alleged that her aunt Bharati Devi and director Kalanjiyam were using her as an ATM and freely plundering her hard earned money. She also reportedly disappeared because of a tiff with her uncle and aunt.

Now Kalanjiyam has complained to the producers’ council that he sustained a loss of Rs. 40 lakhs because Anjali had not taken part in the shooting of ‘Oru Sutri Puranam’, his forthcoming film on April 24. He said Anjali had not even informed him about the reasons for her absence.

It may also be mentioned here that reports suggest that Chennai police are likely to arrest Anjali. Admitting a habeas corpus petition from Anjali’s aunt Bharati Devi, the Madras high court directed the Chennai police to produce her in the court. Anjali told the police that she would herself appear before the court. When she did not, the high court expressed its anger at the police. The police assured the court that they would produce her at any cost. It is being said that the police might arrest Anjali and produce her before the court.

Commercially flop result of ‘Shadow’ has helped one man more than any one else and he is young hero nithin. While ‘Gunde Jaari Gallanthayinde’ continue to traverse smoothly around Box Office recoding superb numbers and highest ever seen collections in nithin’s entire career, there are every chances of movie to sustain for few more weeks. Yes, those audiences who expected to watch a star hero movie (like Venkatesh’s ‘Shadow’) are no easily diverted to the theatres of ‘GJG’ with reviewers and critics pouting in non-stop negative feedbacks for ‘Shadow.’

With fall in revenues for ‘Baadshah’ and a welcome flop of ‘Shadow,’ this is a blessing in disguise for nithin and his dad Sudhakar Reddy to see ‘GJG’ cross their expected collection figures. Let us see, how far Nagarajuna’s ‘Greekuveerudu’ will block the growing craze for ‘GJG’?
