Summer will be the most favorable season for our Producers to cash upon. With schools closed and holidays in full swing, usually family audiences will love to jump into theatres without considering either it is a weekend or mid week days. This summer is going to be a big treat for Telugu film lovers as we have big heroes in the fray fighting in middle with their prestigious projects.

Line wise, we have ramcharan’s ‘Rachcha,’ Junior NTR’s ‘Dammu,’ Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Gabbar Singh,’ Ram’s ‘Endukante Premanta,’ Balakrishna’s ‘Adhinayakudu,’ Rana’s ‘Naa Ishtam,’ Raviteja’s ‘Daruvu,’ Aadi’s ‘Lovely,’ Sekhar Kammula’s ‘Life Is Beautiful,’ Teja’s ‘Neeku Naaku Dash Dash’ and few more flicks standing in the queue to hit the screens at minimum time intervals. With good films ‘Ishq, Poola Rangadu and Love Failure’ enjoying the glorious response from public, let us wait for a Cool Treat to beat the Summer Heat.

Thums Down: Channel’s Dual Standards

Long back, Centre for Science and Environment(CSE) discovered that toxic pesticides and insecticides were in higher levels in the soft drinks, which were being marketed by multi national companies. Also, the reports revealed, chances of causing cancer, failure of nervous and reproductive system etc. would be occurred for drinking these beverages. Having understood the threat of using the brands like Thums Up, Pepsi etc. some of the political parties like left parties in A.P., Jana Vignana Vedika and some of the T.V.Channels agitated against then brand ambassador Thums Up,chiranjeevi, to give up his endorsement with the company. chiranjeevi made a positive gesture with these protests, and he didn’t extended his agreement with the company.

Later, Mahesh Babu had become the brand ambassador for Thums Up. Surprisingly, no agitations against his endorsement have been made. Then, Mega fans were said to have realized that previous agitations against chiranjeevi were purely political and nothing more than that. There is a news channel in A.P. that always strives hard for ‘Merugaina Samajam Kosam’. Every summer, the channel gives special ads to encourage drinking coconut water. However, that channel never used to protest against the heroes, who act as brand ambassadors for soft drinks which are manufactured by multi national companies. Instead, they appreciate those heroes that they get nation wide popularity with their endorsements. Some of the critics are slamming the dual standards being exhibited by these media.

Among all of Kajal’s movies, Mahesh’s ‘Businessman’ tops the list in terms of the oomph factor poured in. The sexy seductress was made to look much more erotic in the movie with red-hot thigh shows and sensuous cleavage peeks. The fish-eyed beauty raced the pulses of youth with her minis and lip-kiss.

However, most of the amusement is cut down by the censor board by blocking and blurring out the actual show of Kajal on silver-screen. Who is the real ‘Magadheera’?

Magadheera is just not only the number one grosser in the Telugu cinema history but also is one of the most iconic films ever made in eighty years in Tollywood. That is the reason why every Telugu cinema fan has been proud of it. However, mega fans take most of the credit as they believe that without Charan there is no Magadheera.

There has been unending debate going over this as other heroes fans argue that Magadheera was a technicians film and Charan was just a part of it. They feel that any hero in place of Charan could have got the film a similar result. Although Rajamouli stated that a film’s success range depends on the hero of the film, the arguments are still on. There is no doubt that both Charan and Rajamouli have a great fan following, but the question is who is bigger among the two?

Who should get the biggest slice of Magadheera’s cake? May be the ‘awaiting’ clash would throw some light on this. Ram Charan and Rajamouli are going to compete at the box office in few weeks. Charan’s Racha and Rajamouli’s Eega will release on the same day or within a gap of one week. Both the films don’t have any other star except for them. Their image should shoulder the films at the box office. This would be a test for their individual box office potential given both the films gets good feedback from critics and audience as well.

Meanwhile, reports from Chennai reveal that Anushka is currently undergoing a strong and intense course in Martial Arts. Well, it is heard that Anushka is practicing kicks and punches and she would be using them in her new Tamil movie which would be directed by Selvaraghavan. The film has been titled as ‘Irandaam Ulagam’.

Sources say Anushka has a dual role in the film and she is pairing up with the raw hunk Arya. If one can recall, Anushka underwent a similar training for the slick movie ‘Billa’ starring young rebel star Prabhas. Many are saying the bad guys are the lucky ones who will get a kick when they get a ‘kick’ from Anushka.

Director Forcing Kajal For NUDE Act?

Now Kajal Agarwal is acting tin the film Thuppaki in Tamil in the direction of AR Murugudoss. Vijay is the main lead in it. It is being gossiped that Murugudoss forced Kajal to do a semi nude act as per the script demand but the actress denied the idea.

On the other hand Kajal’s mother Vinay Agarwal also said that Murgudoss very well knows about her daughter who can never pose semi nude in front of camera.

Well, it is known that Kajal quashed her semi nude pics on a national magazine cover page as morphed ones a few weeks ago. She locked her lips with Mahesh Babu in Businessman but she is no way ready to pose semi nude for a Tamil film beside dark hero Vijay. The film is ready to release in April-May.

It is sad that Kajal did a photo shoot with Vijay and that holds no hot value or reasonable skin show. That’s Kajal for you folks.

Police Case on Jr NTR for Road Show !

Jr NTR campaigned for TDP during last 2009 elections and that is known for all. He had aggressively carried on several road shows during that time and one was in Khammam district in a town named Madhira. But today the Madhira court issued summons against Jr NTR for conducting road show without taking proper permission.

No one knows why it took some many years to raise this point and put Jr NTR in news. As per the court summons, Jr NTR needs to attend Madhira court on 20th March.

Prabhas’s first 30 crore film!

Prabhas has always been in the race since he found his first hit with Varsham. He sealed his place as a mass star with Chatrapathi and suffered few hiccups later. However, he is back on track with Darling and Mr. Perfect. Although these films didn’t do justice to his mass image, they did well at the box office.

Mr. Perfect was the second biggest hit of 2011, even though it was far behind Mahesh’s Dookudu. It is the biggest hit in Prabhas’s career so far. Now the Rebelstar is getting shielded up to better it with Rebel. This film is a full on mass masala film in typical Raghava Lawrence’s style. Lawrence movies have proved critics wrong time and again by being lapped up by the masses.

Even Rebel is going to be the same say sources. This film is going to be the biggest hit in Prabhas’s career is what they say. Prabhas’s Mr. Perfect fell short of 30 crore mark, but this time he would cross it by a distance is what we hear from the buzz. Very good news for Prabhas fans, isn’t it?

Trisha crosses the border for NTR

Trisha is not known for doing ultra glamorous roles in her ten years career. She played some glamorous roles, but didn’t cross the mark for any film. Even her lip locks in the films Teenmaar and Tamil version of YMC were aesthetically shot. For the first time in her career, Trisha has pushed the limits a bit and crossed the border.

As per the inside buzz, Trisha has done some steamy scenes in Dammu, the movie in which she is romancing young NTR for the first time. Many eyebrows were raised when Trisha was roped in as the female lead in Dammu. Trisha is not only older than NTR but also looks elder to him. So the choice of heroine has not been well received.

Trisha took it as a challenge and to prove a point to the critics she is going that extra mile for Dammu. Producer ML Kumar Chowdary has finally found out a way to help his film Adhinayakudu to see the light. Rumor has it that the producer had sold his properties to clear the obstacles for the release of this film. Audio of Adhinayakudu will directly release into market without any hype and hungama.

However, getting things cleared and releasing the audio will just won’t be enough for Adhinayakudu to sustain at the box office. The film is going to face tough times from the young superstars that are raring to have a go at the box office this summer. April and May are jam packed with so many big films lined up for release.

Ram Charan’s Racha, NTR’s Dammu, Pawan Kalyan’s Gabbar Singh, Rajamouli’s Eega, Prabhas’s Rebel are only a few to name. There is Nagarjuna’s Dhamarukam and a load of notable Tamil films that will obviously be dubbed in Telugu as well. Adhinayakudu has to find a proper date for release and should compete with all those films to live up to its title.

The chubby fat babe who is struggling to score hits these days is all excited about the award. “Winning votes to become a ‘Dream Girl’ shows the love of my fans towards me and I love them as much they do”, an excited Hansika shared. With only three average movies at Tamil Box Office last year, Hansika’s over grown fat had mesmerized the Tamil audiences, say analysts.

It is heard that Hansika is taking the route of Chennai Express now to utilize this sudden craze in Kollywood. Aishwarya, daughter of Superstar Rajnikanth has directed the film ‘3’ which is famous for the ‘Kolaveri’ song of it. With the international buzz created for that song, Aishwarya is now planning to sell the film to distributors in a different way. Yes, the makers are trying to auction the film and are expecting nothing less than 70 crores. Though the idea holds well, any mistake in terms of visualizing that song will show stars to the investors to recollect their investment.

Insiders are saying that both ‘Kolaveri’ and this ‘verri’ are the directions of Aishwarya to cash on the image of both her father Rajni and husband Danush. The only person from the entire crew who feels happier is none other than heroine Sruthi Hassan.
