Ram Charan Follows Babai, Pawan Kalyan

Share
Power Star Pawan Kalyan is good at martial arts and in his debut movie, ‘Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi’ itself, he showed his amazing feats. Later, he himself directed fight sequences in some of his movies like, ‘Kushi’, ‘Johnny’, ‘Gudumba Shankar’ etc. Also, he directed a fight sequence for Chiranjeevi’s ‘Daddy’ movie. His creativity and interest in this department are clearly seen through the picturization of those fights.
Mega Power Star ram charan seems to have inspired with his ‘Babai’s stunt directions and in his forthcoming movie ‘Rachcha’, he has reportedly directed one of the fight sequences under the supervision of the director V.V.Vinayak. We have to wait and see how well the fight was picturized.

Nani and Suresh Babu’s Strong Rapport

Share
Young hero Nani is busy working for ‘Eega’ in the direction of ace director S.S.Rajamouli. Samantha is doing opposite to him while Kannada star Sudeep is doing villain for the movie. Producer Suresh Babu is presenting this movie.
It seems Nani has developed a strong rapport with the producer Suresh Babu as he is likely to bag one more prestigious project. As per the details, director Teja has been trying to direct a project ‘Saavitri’ for a long time. Suresh Productions has shown interest in making this movie. Earlier, Venkatesh was approached by the director to act in the project. But his plans didn’t go fruitful and Venkatesh showed no interest on the project. Similar is the case with hero Rana. Finally, it is heard that Nani will be roped in as the hero of this project and the movie is likely to go to sets soon.

Sunil Replaces Venkatesh

Share
Hero Sunil is currently riding high on the success of his ‘Poola Rangadu’. Suresh Productions is said to have approached to make a movie with him. Udaya Shankar, who earlier directed ‘Kalisundam Raa’, will be directing this movie. In fact, Udaya Shankar has prepared the script for Venkatesh. However, Venkatesh is heard to have rejected to do this movie, as the script is filled with full of comedy. Having noticed Sunil is a perfect fit for this project, the producers are reportedly approached Sunil and Sunil is said to have given his nod to do this movie.
Right now, Sunil is working for bollywood remake movie, ‘Tanu Weds Manu’, which is tentatively titled as ‘Seetha Weds Ramudu’. Isha Chawla will be seen opposite to him for this movie.

Mr.Nookaiah Movie Review – 2.75/5

Share
Review: 2.75/5
Starring: Manchu Manoj, Praneetha Subash, Kriti Kharbanda, Brahmanandam
Director: Anil Krishna
Producer: DS Rao
Banner: Sri Sailendra Cinemas
Music: Yuvan Shankar Raja
Story
Nookayya aka Nokia (Manoj), is a cell phone thief with a good heart and has friends Nampally (Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao) and Chee Chaa (Vennela Kishore). He falls in love with a pub waitress (Sana Khan) and later decides to settle down in life by stealing a large sum. At this point he comes across Anu (Kriti) who is newly married to Kiran (Raja). Kiran gets kidnapped and to rescue him Anu carries 2 crores to give it to the gang. Nokia steals the money but gets cheated by his friend and dumped by lover Sana. He meets Anu again and gets to know her problem and tries to rectify his mistake by rescuing her husband from the gang. What happens to these 4 people forms the rest of the story.
Performances
Manchu Manoj puts a great effort for the film and it can be seen in energetic and rocking dances and fights. Living to his title Rocking Star, he puts up an impressive performance as cell phone thief. Manoj has done amazing stunts with out any body-double and he is the show stealer of Mr.Nookayya.
Kriti Kharbanda bagged a good role and her performance is okay. Sana Khan played other female lead role and looked extremely hot. She played pub waitress who cheats Manoj who is her boy friend. Sana Khan did her bit well and she looked stunning in Pista Pista song.
Raja surprises with his role in the film. The plot revolves around his character and he makes his presence felt with a fresh and rejuvenated look.
Vennela Kishore is wasted, Ahuti Prasad is good, Brahmanandam has a minor yet funny role, Samrat and Prabhas Srinu have done justice
Technical Analysis
Cinematography by B Rajasekhar is on top-notch. The entire film looked colorful and lively. Yuvan Shankar Raja’s musical scores have already earned good applauses and the background score is good and apt. A couple of songs are exceptionally shot.
Story is distinct but the screenplay is predictable and patchy while the narration is mediocre. Debutant Ani’s direction is okay but a racy execution could have brought applauses to the director. Dialogues are hilarious yet regular. Action scenes, chases are well-shot and need a special mention. SFX works are neat. Production values are rich.
Analysis
Mr.Nookayya has unique and distinct story and the neatly etched characters that are appreciable however the director faltered to bring liveliness with the narration. The screenplay is predictable though had a couple of twists and twirls. The first half was patchy but it’s only the interval bang and second half that gains your interest. The climax and twists are the assets of the film. Producers spent lavishly on the film and it was shot in Ultra stylish way. The action sequences and the chases are choreographed much stylishly that keeps you to edge of the seats. The direction was okay but he seemed to have lost grip in narration at times (Especially in the first half). A gripping narration and racy screenplay could have done wonders.
The film has been released in the exam season and we have to see how the audiences receive it.
Final Verdict
Better execution of First-half could have made wonders to Mr.Nookayya. Nonetheless, Manoj lives up to his title Rocking Star!!!

Ram’s Direct Punch To Jr NTR & Charan!!!

Share
Apart from Telugu films being the bone of connection between these three heroes, there is nothing personal between them to take dig at one another. However, a comment made by Hero Ram is said to indirectly targeting these top-stars.
The other day, hero Ram stated that ‘Naaku Legacy la tho sambandham ledu…Records tho assalu pani ledhu… Cinema chesetappudu naaku nachali.. chesaka meeku nachali..anthey’. (I don’t care about Legacy and never mind about records. While working I should like it and after watching you should love it. That’s all). Is he meaning about the doings of our hereditary heroes, is the question of many now. We cannot simply rule out that Ram doesn’t mean anything about Junior or Charan. Given the fact that most Jr.NTR films keep rambling about legacy, legendary background and records, Ram’s arrow is hitting him straight. Even, three film old RamCharan also joined the category of ‘maa naanna, maa taatha.. maa records’ with ‘Racha’ dialogues and song lyrics adding a spice to it.
Wonder, what made Ram to mouth out such dynamite, hitting hard in the hearts of mega-Nandamuri fans! Currently this young hero is coming up with ‘Endukantey Premanta’ under the direction of Karunakaran, which also features milky beauty Tamanna as heroine.

Should Cherry stop spoiling them?

Share
Ram Charan might be feeling the tremendous pressure of reaching the expectations of millions of fans. Filling Chiranjeevi’s boots is not an easy task for anyone. Hence, the young actor is trying his best to make people see his father in him. One of Charan’s tactics to use Chiranjeevi’s name is by remixing popular songs of his megastar father.
Ram Charan has been asking his directors to use Chiranjeevi’s songs in his movies. In Magadheera, Bangaru Kodipetta was remixed and now Vana Vana Velluvaye has been remixed for Racha. Frankly speaking both the remixes didn’t work at all. Keeravani failed to revisit his old tune and Manisharma made a mess out of Bappilahari’s rocking tune.
The beauty of the original songs was spoilt in both the remixes. It is high time for Charan to stop using his father’s songs as the music directors are unable to justice to those. Utmost care should be taken for such attempts and Cherry should be ready to scrap the idea if the output isn’t satisfactory. Why because a failed attempt to remix a popular song will get instant negative feedback from all the corners.

Mahesh Babu in 1st Year Intermediate English book

Share
The craze of Superstar Mahesh Babu is skyrocketing and there seems to be no stopping what-so-ever. The last honour for him is the mentioning of his name in the 1st Year Intermediate English book.
1st Year Intermediate English book, Page no.189, Question no.9 : Mahesh Babu is one of most popular actors. (change to comparitive degree)
In the past, the professors team hired by the government to finalize the syllabus for students, used to avoid including the names of film actors in the test books, fearing caste wars. But Mahesh has changed the entire scenario with his Universal Hero tag.
“The people of all castes and creeds show their admiration towards Mahesh. No one treats him as a hero who belongs to only one particular caste. Mahesh Babu is beyond caste!,” said a noted Director.
There might be many stars, but all of them can’t achieve this rare feat. It’s great to have a star like Mahesh in the Telugu Film Industry. Great going Superstar!!!

Dil Raju finds new Siddarth?

Share
The combo of producer Dil Raju and the southern stud Siddarth has resulted in some noted hits. However, it is now heard that lately both Sidz-Dil Raju are not in good terms. Apparently, Dil Raju usually focuses mostly on youthful subjects and once in a while he comes with a film like ‘Seetamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’.
As such, he is the one who made Sidz a youth icon. But now due to small issues, the gaps are reportedly widening and Dil Raju feels there is no point in hanging with Siddarth. As a result, sources say he began a massive search to find a new replacement and one person has been found.
He is Gautham, son of Brahmanandam. People may not connect to this but it is heard that Dil Raju got connected to Gautam strongly. As such, Gautam was seen in the film ‘Pallaki Lo Pelli Kuthuru’ few years back and he gave good performance. After a long gap, he came with ‘Vaarevah’ which became a big dud because of wrong placement.
From then on, no one cared about Gautham but Dil Raju has recognised the potential in him. Inside news is that even the talented director Madhura Sreedhar is also planning for a project with him. Maybe Gautham will give a mind-blowing performance or audience will blow their minds watching him. Let us see what happens.

RGV’s ‘Ramayanam’ goes to Kanchi

Share
There is an age old saying in Telugu which goes ‘Katha Kanchiki Manam Intiki’ and right now this is being discussed among few cine folks. The reason for that is the announcement made by the eccentric genius Ram Gopal Varma sometime back about a project titled ‘Ramayanam’.
Sources say this project is almost gone to Kanchi now. Apparently, this involves huge casting and heavy budget so producers are not very keen to come forward. However, it is heard that RGV will wait for a producer to come. If no one comes, he will enter the field and make it in his own way.
But so far no noise has been made. The press note that Ramu gave created a lot of hungama but that has been the case with most of his projects. For now, the only concrete project has been his Hindi movie ‘Department’ which is reaching the final stages of its making. Let us see what comes next

‘Yevadu’ Dialogue Rubs Mahesh Babu

Share
Star rivalries are common in film circuit though they are not open about it. And lately, a lot has been happening between the groups of prince Mahesh Babu and mega powerstar Ram Charan Tej. Now, it is heard that Charan’s new project might have something that may not go well with Mahesh.
We are talking about the film ‘Yevadu’ and it is heard that there is a dialogue which goes “naa daggara unnadi naaku telusu…nenu ade cheputha…nee daggara lenidi undante maathram… inkem cheppanu.. guddaloodadeesthaa”
A unit member who was part of the shooting at a shopping mall recently revealed something like this is there and it is written keeping Mahesh Babu in mind. Incidentally, the hero says this to villain. The implication is towards Mahesh Babu’s records. Of course, the subject and context of the dialogue is not known.
But the analysts say if this dialogue is there then there could be some danger. Let us hope this is not true, if it is there then director Vamsi Paidipally better take it off.

Body Double forces Sexy actress to do intimate scenes

Share
It is a common trend followed in Hollywood that whenever a raunchy sex scene or intimate scene is shot, if the heroine is not comfortable a body double is used. This culture slowly began in Bollywood also with the increase in erotic scenes and adult sequences. However, here is an interesting incident.
It is heard that during the shooting of the film ‘Murder’ which saw the rise of a new sex goddess Mallika Sherawat, few intimate scenes were being shot. But Mallika was reportedly uncomfortable doing those scenes. So, the director got a body double. It turned out that the body double was very sexy than Mallika and had a great curvaceous body.
Realising the oomph factor the body double got, Mallika immediately stepped up and said she will do the scenes. The lucky man to enjoy both was the serial kisser Emraan Hashmi. And though Mallika took the last minute decision to get intimate, it has changed her fortune in a big way. Thanks to that body double.

Sourav Ganguly in Telugu film remake

Share
He is called as one of the most aggressive and fearsome captain the Indian cricket team has ever seen. He is also the tiger of Bengal and some call him the Royal prince of Bengal. Now, after having a successful stint as a cricketer, cricket commentator etc, he is all set to make his foray as an actor.
He is none other than Sourav Ganguly and news is that this man is making his debut as a hero. And here is the best part. It is heard that Sourav would be stepping into the shoes of Sumanth as he is doing the remake of the Telugu movie ‘Golconda High School’ directed by Indraganti Mohan Krishna. Sourav has reportedly purchased the remake rights.
On the other hand, Dada as he is fondly called made his presence felt in the small screen circuit by being part of TV shows like ‘Dadagiri’ and Bengali version of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’. While Sumanth was unable to score at the box office as a cricket coach in the movie, he got some critical acclaim. It now remains to be seen how the aggressive Dada will score at the box office.

Tamanna getting tortured by director

Share
The milky white beauty Tamannah is known to torture all men aged between 16 to 60 years. Given her natural attraction and the overflowing sex appeal, this starlet is responsible for giving sleepless nights to the male generation. But now, it is heard that Tamannah is facing a different kind of torture.
It is known news that Tammu is the leading lady of the film ‘Rebel’ starring young rebel star Prabhas. This is being directed by Lawrence. Now, it is heard that Lawrence has decided to remake the movie in Tamil and he wants to be the hero in that. While that is okay, here is the problem.
Unit members reveal that Lawrence has been torturing Tamannah to be part of the remake as his leading lady. As it is, the awesome beauty Anushka walked out of ‘Rebel’ during the start unable to bear Lawrence’s antics. Many are suggesting that Lawrence should try for the other heroine Deeksha Seth and spare Tammu. Let us see what happens.

Racha Director addicted to sleeping pills

Share
Director Sampath Nandi is feeling the pressure even before the audio launch of his big ticket with ‘Racha’ starring Mega Powerstar Ram Charan and milky white beauty Tamanna.
The first person to be blamed, if this film fails too hit the bulls eye would be the captain of the film, The Director. Sampath Nandi, who is well aware of this fact have been spending sleepless nights for quite some time now. Unable to cope up with the enormous pressure, the young director got addicted to sleeping pills.
“Ever since the time this project got finalized, Sampath Nandi is working day and night to live up to the expectations. The hype over the film is taking a toll on him,” said a source close to the unit.
Sampath Nandi seems to have undergone a lot of pain during the making of the film and the success of Racha could only make him forget the painful experience. We can expect Racha to make the cash registers ringing, as hard work and dedication always pays off. Let’s Hope So!!!

Feast for Ram Charan fans

Share
Ram Charan’s biggest challenge as a successor to megastar Chiranjeevi was to match his father’s speed and grace in dances. Even mega fans waited for his debut movie with bated breath to see his dancing skills and they were more than satisfied with his superb dances in the song Yamaho Yama from Chirutha.
Charan didn’t do exceptional dance moves in remaining songs, but Yamaha Yama was enough to put him among the league of best dances. In Magadheera he came up with rocking dances in Bangaru Kodipetta song and in Orange his graceful dance moves in Rooba Rooba song were a treat to watch. However, Charan didn’t offer a dance fest for his fans in his movies till now. He restricted himself to one song per film and fans have been waiting to see him do great dances in more than one song per each movie.
Racha is going to be the movie that they have been waiting for. If the sources are to be believed Ram Charan’s dances in four out of five songs will be a feast for his fans. Racha title song would be his best so far in terms of dances it seems. His massy dances in Dillaku Dillaku and Singareni undi songs are going to rock big time. Charan matched the graceful dance moves of his father in the remix song of Vaana Vaana Velluvaye, sources say. It is going to be Racha all the way.

Mother Focused on Daughter’s Debut

Share
Glamorous mothers grooming their daughters as next generation heroines is a general trend followed in films. When it comes to the case of yesteryear beauty queen Sreedevi and her daughter Jahnavi, this trend becomes much more specialized. There is a big talk on the debut of Jahnavi with any of the South Films owing it as their pleasure because Sreedevi roused to great heights of fame in B-town only after making it to top in South film industry.
Although nothing of a clearance is offered by Sreedevi on Jahnavi’s first entry but the way this doting mother is focusing on daughter’s career is seen all the way when she is focused to cameras at recent event of Lakme Fashion Week. The pretty daughter is easily stealing the limelight wearing attractive costumes revealing the needed. Some say, Sreedevi is trying extra mile to show herself still as younger as her daughter while Jahnavi is silently pulling the camera crowds.

‘Dammu’ shakes Small Screen Circuit

Share
Satellite Rights have become the best business tool for Producers to recover their prime investment made in production of a film. Unlike small and medium budget average films that are also making Rs.1 Crore easily in the form of Satellite Rights, one could anticipate on what would be the price of a film coming from Junior NTR and that too with positive pre-release talk? Yes, we are talking about ‘Dammu’ in direction of most successful Boyapati Srinu slated for release very soon and price of the Satellite Rights.
Fresh update from our filmy sources says that Zee Telugu bagged the rights of ‘Dammu’ for a whopping Rs.6.6 Crores which is highest in terms of any business on smaller screen circuit. Although there is good competition among TV channels to buy best movies, ‘Dammu’ faring for this kind of big show is nothing surprising because Junior NTR is the craziest star in Andhra Pradesh.
