After doing that hilarious role in Ram Charan’s ‘Naayak’, Posani Krishna Murali became the most sought after comedian in Telugu Industry. He is now featuring in Trivikram’s movie once again and this time he is going to give mega-treat with Powerstar Pawan Kalyan. According to the sources this time Posani is going to do a full length role in Trivikram- Pawan’s flick. Currently Pawan-Trivikram’s movie is progressing briskly in Hyderabad with most of the star cast including Samantha, Pranitha, Nadiya and Boman Irani.

Hero Nikhil and Colours Swathi starer Swamy ra ra had completed its censor formalities a short while ago and received U/A certificate with a lyric cut. The movie is now all set to release on March 23rd. Our sources tells us that the movie had turned out well. The movie story revolves around a stolen Ganesh idol. The audio of the movie was released recently and became a decent hit. Nikhil who did not register proper hit after his debut movie, Happy Days had pinned high hopes on this one.

A new comer Sudhir Varma is wielding megaphone for this movie. Another new comer Sunny has composed the music. Chakri Chigurupati is producing the movie on his Lakshmi Narasimha Entertainments banner.

Manchu Manoj is now Potugadu

Manchu Manoj was dealt with a big blow when his last movie, Uu Kodathara ulikki Padthara bombed miserably at the box office despite having a star like Nandamuri Balakrishna in its rank. And now Manoj had realised the importance of bagging immediate commercial success and is now banking on a romantic comedy entertainer to bag commercial success.

The movie will have four heroines romancing Manoj and will go on to sets in the last week of this month. The makers are keen on finishing the movie fast and are targeting release in the second half of the year. A formal announcement regarding the heroines and the rest of the crew will be made soon. This new project is titled ‘Potugadu’ and will be directed by a new comer Pavan. Lagadapati Sridhar and Sirisha will be producing this movie on their Rama Lakshmi movies banner.

Action 3D is almost complete

Allari Naresh, Vaibhav Reddy, Shaam and Raju Sundaram starer Action 3D is almost eyeing an end. Only half day’s work is left to be completed in which few patch work scenes on Brahmanandham are needed to be shot. The makers are planning to release the audio of the movie in this month itself and the film will hit the screens on April 11.

In all probability, this movie will earn the distinction of first 3D film releasing in Telugu as Kalyan Ram’s OM will taking more time in post production. Anil Sunkara, who had produced films like Bindaas and Aha Naa Pellanta, is turning director with this film. Sneha Ullal, Kamna Jethmalani, Ritu Barmecha and Neelam Upadhyay are the lead actresses in this film. Bappa and Bappi Lahiri have scored the music.

Our readers are aware that Super hit Tamil movie directed by Linguswamy, is being remade into Telugu.  Sunil has been chosen for Madhavan’s role, while Naga Chaitanya will be reprising Arya’s role.  The movie shooting is progressing at brisk pace. Only the climax and a song of the movie are to be canned. The shooting of the climax began today in Vishakapatnam. Most part of the movie was shot in Andhra Pradesh and the movie team had recently shot two songs – One in Bangkok and the other in Pollachi.

Chinnodu-Peddhodu is reportedly the title in consideration. Konchem Ishtam Konchem Kashtam fame Dolly is directing this film. Andrea Jeremiah and Tamannah will romance Sunil and Naga Chaitanya in the movie. Bellamkonda Suresh is producing it under Sri Sai Ganesh Productions banner. Thaman is scoring tunes for the movie.

Sampath Nandi seriously working on Pawan Kalyan’s project

It is known to our readers are aware that Racha fame Sampath Nandi had managed to impress Power Star Pawan Kalyan with a movie. The script work of the movie is going on and the story sittings are taking place regularly. Recently Sampath Nandi had visited the sets of Pawan Kalyan Trivikram film and had a long chat with the actor too.  According to our sources, Kajal Agarwal will be paring up with Pawan Kalyan in this movie. The movie will go on to sets once Pawan Kalyan’s ongoing film with Trivikram completes.

The movie will be produced by Sharath Marar, NTV President who is also a close friend to Pawan. Earlier, Sharath Marar had co-produced the Telugu version of animation movie, Hanuman.

Rajamouli Unhappy with National Awards

Prestigious National Awards were announced on Yesterday, as expected by everyone our Tollywood film “Eega” bagged two awards for ‘Best Special Effects’ and as ‘Best Regional Film’ in Telugu. But the creator of this creative film “Eega” director Rajamouli is unhappy with the awards, he expressed his view as hoping Kannada star Kichcha Sudeep, who played the antagonist in the film, would win an award as well. He said “Well, we were expecting for visual FX for sure and I was also expecting an award for Sudeep. I feel happy for my team and Makuta VFX who really crossed barriers, particularly in animation, to get the amazing result”. It also featured Nani and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Any way let us all congratulate him.
