Saranya Mohan to try luck in Bollywood
Shailesh Varma is wielding megaphone for this project. Renowned B-town editor A Muthu turns producer with film ‘Badlapur Boys’. Muthu will be producing the film in association with Salim Tanvar, under the banner of Karrm Entertainment.
Gundello Godari gets decent opening
Starring Aadhi Pinisetty, Lakshmi Manchu, Tapsee Pannu and Sundeep Kishan, the film is directed by debutant Kumar Nagendra. It also features Ravi Babu, Suja Varunee, Jeeva, Annapurna and Mumaith Khan. The film has music by maestro Illayaraja and cinematography by M.R Palanikumar. The Tamil dubbed version of the film titled “Maranthen Mannithen” is slated to release March 23.
Bol Bachchan remake gets a title
The movie is the official Telugu remake of Bollywood super hit movie, Bol Bachchan. Venky will be reprising the role of Ajay Devgn and Ram will play the role of Abhishek Bachchan from the original. Interestingly, Bol Bachchan itself is an official remake of the popular 1979 film Gol Maal and is a run away hit. Venkatesh’s brother Suresh Babu and Ram’s uncle Sravanthi Ravi Kishore will be jointly producing this film. K Vijay Bhaskar who directed movies like Nuvvu Naku Nachav and Jai chiranjeeva will yield megaphone for this film. More details on this project are awaited.
No time for Bollywood – Samantha
Samantha is starring in Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram’s movie. There is NTR and Harish Shankar film and a Surya-Linguswamy bilingual. Apart from these Samantha is also a part of director V V Vinayak’s film. Finally she stars with NTR in Rabhasa and in Nag and Naga Chaitanya starrer Manam. With such a line-up there is no possibility that Samantha would have dates to accommodate Bollywood. But she said that definitely it will happen and probably her Bollywood debut will happen next year.
Special Muhurtham for Baadshah release
Kajal Agarwal is playing the female lead in the movie while Navdeep and Kelly Dorjee will be seen in negative roles in this action entertainer. Gopi Mohan and Kona Venkat are writing the script along with Sreenu Vaitla. Thaman is composing the music.
High Profile Ministers in Dock?
