‘Dammu’ Pre-Release Business Record

Junior NTR is again on a roar. His upcoming flick ‘Dhammu’ in the direction of Boyapati Srinu is geared to end up with a new record figure in its pre-release business. As per the reliable reports, movie has become super duper hit much before the release by doing a pre-release business of nearly Rs.40 Crores.

Area wise price for distribution rights and agencies winning the rights are as follows.

Nizam, Karnataka – Dil Raju, Kuberan Pictures – 11 Crores
Nellore, Guntur – Bakery Prasad – 7.20 Crores
Uttarandhra – Bharath Pictures – 3.45 Crores
West Godavari – Mahalakshmi Films – 2.10 Crores
East Godavari – Gayatri Films – 2 Crores

If the areas of Ceded, Overseas, Audio, Satellite and Rest of India rights are added, the cumulative number will cross Rs.40 Crores.

Exclusive: Kurnool Rachcha Cancelled

Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s ‘Rachcha’ movie’s audio release function at first was expected to be held in Hyderabad. However, the makers wanted to go for a fresh place,where they planned to celebrate the audio release function as a public event. And hence, Kurnool city was chosen as the venue of ‘Rachcha’ audio release function. However, as per the reliable sources, it is learnt that the makers again shifted the venue of the audio release function of the movie from Kurnool to Hyderabad and it is going to be an indoor function. Shilpa Kala Vedika might be the venue of ‘Rachcha’ audio release function. This function is going to be held on 9th March.

Having heard the matter of the cancellation of the function in Kurnool city, the people of the city were said to be very much disappointed. As per the makers, the reason for the cancellation of ‘Rachcha’ venue in Kurnool is because of the security problems and the police reportedly told the makers that they couldn’t give the enough protection for the event. On the contrary, other heroes fans are saying that ‘Rachcha’ audio in Kurnool city was cancelled due to political causes. Whatever be the reason, it is definitely a setback for ‘Rachcha’ team.

A 21-year-old girl said no to Maniratnam, when he offered a film in the lead role. And the girl happens to be none other than Akshara, the younger daughter of legendary Kamal Hassan and Sarika.

Confirming the reports, Kamal said,”I have no idea why Akshara turned down Maniratnam’s offer. I have never imposed any restictions and my daughter are always free to do whatever they want. It’s up to her to decide her future. I guess, Akshara might follow me – starting from behind the camera and then facing the camera later on”.

Akshara is content behind the camera and is currently learning filmmaking, unlike her sister Shruti who is facing the camera. Sources say, Maniratnam who is known for his uncompromising nature is determined to rope in Akshara for his project. Thaman Getting Double-Pay From Charan

However, the young musician lived up to expectations and gave a new dimension to Siddharth’s ‘Love Failure’. With that success, he is now doing films of big stars like Ramcharan, Jr.NTR etc,. Sources say that the magical music man is getting a double-pay from Charan and co, for scoring the music of VV Vinayak’s venture. For the same project, Thaman had imported instruments and other sound mixing equipment from world class stores abroad.

‘Charan and Vinayak want a mass-beat for the whole film with a class touch. This should be again different from what Thaman regularly does and hence this high-pay’, a source close to Charan revealed. Looks like a ‘musical bonanza’ is in stores for Mega fans!

He states that if too many movies release on the same date then the commercial success of those films will be affected. ‘Other than Yuvatha, none of my films have a solo release at BO’, says Nikhil.

However, a look at industry’s biggest hits reveals that all of them got released along with many other movies and have stood a winner. Critics say, if the film satisfies the audiences then every town and city had the capacity of showing more than 10 different flicks in different theatres. Let us hope Nikhil will get that much required hit through ‘Disco’ and stops giving ‘sollu’ reasons for flops!

Naga Chaitanya falls back on Samantha!

Nandamuri fans upset with Jr NTR

The die-hard fans of Jr NTR are unhappy with their hero for drawing comparison with Superstar Mahesh Babu in every aspect. Right now, they are confused and trying to figure out whether its a media speculation or its happening in real!

“We (fans) want NTR to be numero uno, and strictly doesn’t want him to follow the footsteps of others. If the reports in media are to be believed, NTR seems to be comparing with Mahesh right from directors to remuneration and following his ideas. More than the fact that ‘NTR is not a No.1’, ‘NTR is following Mahesh’ is hurting us badly,” said a Nandamuri Fan.

However, the people who were watching NTR closely since many years have been defending the star saying whatever he does, the prime motto would be to entertain his fans and make them feel happy. “Firstly, fans should be patient. To reach to the top, one should analyse and estimate the capabilities/strenghts of people who were ahead of us. NTR is doing the same thing. Though the year 2011 is not a productive one for him as expected, NTR will come out with flying colors soon,” said a source close to the star.

Racha completes shooting and all set to Release

Ram Charan’s upcoming movie Racha shooting is complete. The last song ‘ Cherry Cherry’ was shot on Charan and Tamannah in Pollachi. The movie is now all set to release on April 5th. The first chart of theaters in Nizam area is already out with an impressive 153 theaters.

Emaindhi Eevela fame Sampath Nandi is directing the movie while Mega Super Good movies is producing the movie. Mani Sharma is the music director.
