Rajini thrilled watching Kochadaiyaan !
It is known that Soundarya, the daughter of Super Star Rajinikanth is making her directorial debut directing her father in a movie titled ‘Kochadaiyaan’. The movie had completed its shooting part and is now in post production phase. On Friday, Rajni and Soundarya watched very first edited copy of the movie along with director KS Ravi Kumar who penned the story for the movie. The actor is reportedly thrilled with the outcome and hugged his daughter in pride.
Kochadaiyaan is the first movie in Asia to use motion capturing which previously used for other films like “Avatar” and “Tintin”.Kochadaiyaan is directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth features and movie star cast like Deepika Padukone, Shobana, Sarathkumar, Jackie Shroff and others.A. R. Rahman scored the music. Eros International and Media One Global Entertainment jointly producing this heavy budget film.
Lakshmi Rai files defamation suit on a magazine !
Buxom babe Lakshmi Rai may look modern on screen but is one girl who never takes criticism. She had recently fumed on twitter on a lip lock issue with actor Balakrishna and now she had filed a case against a leading magazine for showing her in bad light. She had demanded 30 Lakh towards the damages for publishing the article The Chennai High Court has considered the case valid and has passed an injunction order against the magazine for publishing a defamatory article about the actress.
The actress in her complaint had mentioned that she is tired of these incidents affecting her personal life and will no longer take even a bit of rubbish anymore, which is affecting her image and personal life. As for the case, it was Justice R Sudhakar who granted the injunction and has passed interim orders on an application arising out of a civil suit from Lakshmi Rai praying for a direction to the weekly and its reporter to pay a sum of Rs 30 lakh towards damages for publishing articles in its issues.
Dil Raju elated at SVSC success !
“Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu” (SVSC), the first multistarer movie in Telugu after a long time had completed 50 days at the box-office.
The film reportedly raked in over Rs.55 crore in two weeks since its release Jan 11. It was the first Telugu film to touch a million in the overseas market within two days of its release. Producer Dil Raju is overjoyed by the success, and has thanked fans for this.
“I have had commercial hits in my career, but this is the first time I have tried something off-beat and it paid off. All thanks to my director and actors for agreeing to be a part of the project. Initially, I was not open to the idea of a multi-starrer but Srikanth (director) convinced me,” Dil Raju told. “I have never had fans call and congratulate me for my films, but this is the first time it happened. Since the release of the film, I’ve got so many calls and I’m extremely happy about it.”
Boat owner sends legal notices to RGV !
Ram Gopal Varma is one person who never seem to be out of lime light for right or wrong reasons. he just scored a hit with his recent movie ‘The Attacks of 26/11’ after a long string of flops. But it is not all good for the maverick director. He just received a legal notice from a boat owner for misusing his property. For the sake of reality, Ram Gopal Varma had used Kuber, the name of the original boat and its registration number in the movie. They are the same details of the boat terrorists have stolen and sneaked in to India. But now Hiralal Masaani, the owner of the boat who had watched the movie is not happy with it. He had sent legal notices to Ram Gopal Varma for using his boat name and registration details with out his permission. Ramu is yet to respond to this notice.
Directed by Ram Gopal Varma and produced by Alumbra Entertainment and Eros International, The Attacks of 26/11 features Nana Patekar, and Sanjeev Jaiswal (As Ajmal Kasab) among others. Ramu was assisted by Rommel Rodrigues,who had written a book ‘ Kasab the face of 26/11′ based on the incident.
