TRS bankruptcy on Babli !

Share
TRS Party and its leader KCR prides that they are the champions of Telangana but when Supreme Court gave ruling against AP Govt against Babli project thus supporting Maharashtra, TRS instead of opposing it went into silent mode.

While some of its leaders decided to go on protests against the ruling, its water resources wing head R.Vidya Sagar Rao who was Retd. Chief Engineer, Central Water Commission, supported supreme Court ruling stating that Telangana will not suffer at all. This came as shocker to people of Telangana.

Many are of the opinion that TRS is keen on increasing its votes and seats rather than bothered on solving peoples problems.

Stories deserting films !

Share
In any film functions one hears the oft repeated dialogues like the story is unique and no one touched this in the industry. Film makers boast that hero never did such role and the moment he heard the story, he hugged them. However after the film hits the screen, everything looks similar to n number of films.

In all the films storyline looks similar except for change of heroes and heroines and technical team. One wonder what could be the reason for such things. This is noticed not only in Tollywood but entire film industry in the country. While some film makers bag remake rights for lump sum amounts, some to escape from copyright problems say they drew inspiration from hit film.

This is happening because heroes are influencing directors to include hit scenes from hit films. So intro scene will be from one film, interval bang from another film, cilmax from another. The same thing happened in Nayak and Mirchi but but turned out to be blockbusters.

Prabhas went on record that if one looks for innovative scripts then it takes 3 yrs for one film. When film industry turned commercial with crores involved no one would like to take any risks. They stick to some formulas. One such could be hero entering villain’s house and try to change them. This ploot was first used in Gudumba Shankar and later in Aata but both did not click.

However from Ready the same formula started working and many films came in similar lines. Rajani’s Basha also inspired many film makers.Samara Simha Reddy,Indra,Narasimha Naidu,Bhrat Simha Reddy and many more have shades of Basha. Some are now saying their film is not a copy or inspiration from any film. But if one takes Nandini Reddy’s Jabardasth, even that bubble burst. Nandini said her film is unique but it turned out to be carbon copy of Band Baja Baarat.Even film makers of Badshah and Greeku Veerudu are at pains to convince movie lovers that theirs is new story and not inspired or copied from other films. This is because every now and then internet is abuzz with rumors that these films are freemakes of previous hit films,

The Attacks of 26/11 Movie Review – 3.5/5

Share
Rating: 3.5/5
Cast : Nana Patekar, Sanjeev Jaiswal, Saad Orhan, Atul Kulkarni, Ganesh Yadav, Asif Basra, Ravi Kale and others
Directed by : Ram Gopal Varma
Produced by : Parag Sanghavi
Banner : Eros International
Music : Amar Mohile
Release Date : 2013-02-28
Story Plot:

Set on the backdrop of Mumbai, the tale revolves around the Mumbai commissioner (Nana Patekar) testifying before the commission and recalling the murderous episode of group of terrorists who entered from Pakistan. Two among them were Ajmal Kasab (Sanjeev Jaiswal) Omar (Saad Orhan) and how they hijacked the Indian fishing trawler Kuber and attacked various areas of Mumbai like Cama Hospital, Mumbai CST, Taj and other places. The story goes between what happened between 9pm and 1 am on that fateful night.

Performances:

Nana Patekar was exceptional in his performance. The way he showed his varied emotions of anger, frustration and helplessness was well depicted. He also scored for his resilience in few sequences. Sanjeev Jaiswal was so involving with his character that he is going to annoy the audience in many ways with his coldness. Same with Saad Orhan who was competent. Atul Kulkarni was excellent, Ravi Kale, Ganesh Yadav made their presence felt with their value added performances.

On the Technical Front:

The background score provided by various music makers have been in sync and they provided that haunting and melancholic effect. The songs that ran on the backdrop were equally suitable. Cinematography was marvelous and though the angles were typical RGV style they didn’t experiment too much. Editing was scissor sharp and cut the sequences promptly. Dialogues were brief but they were hard hitting. Script was perfectly adapted and the screenplay was completely absorbing. Costumes were very much depicting the past and the art department was impeccable.

Analysis:

Ram Gopal Varma has been facing a lot of criticism over the past few years for his eccentric style of filmmaking, his poor grip over the content and many other aspects. But to those who always regarded him as a trendsetting and shock value moviemaker, they will see his comeback with a vengeance in this one. The way RGV adapted the entire episode and condensed it into a two hour story is commendable. The challenge for him is the way he repeated a story known to all in the most interesting manner and was able to generate the emotions which forms the key.

The way the whole scenario was recreated and the way it was presented in the most realistic fashion needs applause. The film takes off on a high note and there is not a moment of idling anywhere. The first scene gets you into the story and the interval bang leaves you speechless. The second half is equally intense and at the end of it, the audience would leave the theaters with mixed emotions of pain, pride, remorse and nostalgia. Overall, this is a film which has everything going right so success is guaranteed at the box office.

Verdict: Haunting and heart squeezing

Manchu Hero Giving Holiday To C-Team

Share

One C-Team is heard always wandering around this Manchu Hero who wants prove that he is different from other heroes in Tollywood. Finally this team is going to get a big holiday, at least for a year. Manoj, the multi talented dynamic young man, is obsessed with delivering something creative all the time. In most of his recent flicks say Mr Nookayaa or Uh Kodatara Ulikki Padatara, he maintained that creative-pulse, while content has hit him on head anyway. A Creative-Team is said to be responsible for all those looks and acts of this Manchu Hero.

They used to stick around him all the time, giving free-advices to producers and directors. However they are going to get a forced holiday for one year, if sources are to be believed. Five big projects are in the pipeline for Manoj, which he wants to wrap them up in 2013 itself by allotting two months for each. Then there will be no time for involving in script and showing creativity, and that’s why holiday for C-Team.
