Guess great men just don’t rest just like Kamal Haasan! After the commotion of ‘Vishwaroopam’ and its subsequent hit, he is busy grooming up his sequel ‘Vishwaroopam-2’ and also simultaneously working on ‘MOO’, a story that revolves around three characters [played by Kamal himself]. And now, it is learned that this multi-talented actor has reportedly sung a song that goes by the lines ‘Zindagi dish…’ composed by Maestro Ilayaraja for an upcoming film ‘HAPPI’ that claims to be a tribute to the legendary actor Charlie Chaplin, directed by Bhavna Talwar where Pankaj Kapoor shall be essaying Chaplin’s role.

On a brief request by Ilayaraja [who was dissatisfied by a previous rendition of the song], Kamal rendered the song in no time! After the 2010 ‘Manmadhan Ambu’, this becomes the second time for Kamal to sing for a movie. But, this time it must be certainly memorable for Kamal as he is being a part of the great tribute to the exemplary comedian.

Because, he is directing the Superstar in a forest set erected in Annapurna studios. This untitled project that features Mahesh and Kriti Sanon is on the sets for quite a while now and Mahesh is likely to play a rock star in the film. This Superstar usually rocks and on top of it if he is playing a rock star itself, then the fans would go absolutely berserk!

Mahesh Babu’s son Gautam Krishna is reportedly making his filmy debut as child artist in the movie. A new comer Kriti Sanon is pairing up with Mahesh in this movie. Inheriting the legacy of his grandfather Superstar Krishna and father Mahesh Babu, Master Gautam Krishna shall make his debut screen presence (of course as a child artist) in Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film directed by Sukumar. Gautam shall be reportedly seen as junior Mahesh Babu in the film for which a trail shoot has also been held recently. Mahesh and Namrata were absolutely delighted to see their son in front of the camera [Mahesh should have gone nostalgic!]. Well, this happens to appear obvious for anyone who noticed Master Gautam in the audio release of SVSC. Well, We welcome the little Superstar!

But now with Sridevi making a strong comeback in films with English Vinglish, Kamal has plans to team up with her again.Lets see when this combination goes on sets!

RGV compares Kasab with Dog !

Sensational director Ram Gopal Varma who is infamous for his controversial nature and movie is making a movie on the bloody terror attacks on Mumbai. The movie will be hitting the screens worldwide on March 1st. He is confidently saying that he is non controversial and just promises to show a surreal experience of what happened on that day. The film maker is widely accepted for finding an exact lookalike of Kasab, the lone survivor of the terrorists who attacked that day. However, RGV has no regrets of meeting Kasab before he was hanged. The director says he got a good account of Kasab from the investigating officers and the eye witnesses.

On one occasion, RGV saw a CCTV footage of court proceedings in which Kasab asked if he could see his mother. So, RGV termed Kasab as a combination of an evil kid and a loyal dog — that wouldn’t hesitate to attack anyone his master points at.

Frustrated director attempts suicide

Durga Prasad, director of Love poison has attempted suicide after Censor Board refused to give clearance to his film. He is also the producer of the movie and is reportedly in deep financial troubles. Frustrated by the behavior of Censor Board, he has consumed pesticide near Censor Board office at Mehidipatnam in Hyderabad today noon. He was immediately rushed to hospital and his condition is said to be critical.

The entire industry was startled with this unfortunate issue. The Regional Censor Board officials in Hyderabad are receiving flak from all sides in recent times for its irresponsible and corrupt behavior.

Siddharth starer ‘Jabardasth’ was censored today a short while ago. The Regional Censor Board under the chair of officer Dhana Lakshmi watched the special screening of the movie and had awarded U/A certificate to the movie. The movie had suffered some cuts for which the movie unit had reluctantly agreed. The movie is now all set to release on February 21st. The makers are planning to screen a special premiere for industry folks a day before.

Samantha is playing the female lead in the movie. Bellamkonda Suresh is producing the Telugu version while director Lingusamy bought the rights for Tamil version and it will be distributed by Thirupathi Brothers banner. The film has been titled as Dum Dum Pee Pee in Tamil. Nithya Menon will also be seen in the film in a crucial role. Thaman composed the tunes for the movie.

Hot ‘T’ cooling down ?

During KCR’s fast unto death, sentiment in telangana boiled and the hot ‘T’ brewed so much that everyone feared to touch it. But over the passage of time, with TRS’s unilateral ways and TJAC exhausting all options along with it turning mere puppet in the hands of TRS, now it seems the hot ‘T’ is slowly cooling down.

Many in the region feel that with TRS also gunning for next elections aiming to win more seats and increase its strength so that bargaining power willbe more, the movement lost itws steam.
Even Cong T MPs who felt betrayed by Vyalar, Gulam Nabi Azad, Home Minister Shushil Kumar Shinde’s statement started taking comfort in PC.Chacko statements. While Cong T MPs are cooling their heels, TDP reps are not bothered about telangana at all. While National opposition party BJP from the beginning has been trumpetting that once voted to power in 2014 elections they will grant telangana in 100 days.

Many feel with political parties only concentrating on elections, only TJAC can heat up the environment. TJAC is readying for sadak band on 24 Feb and it has to be seen what impact it can create.

Can Rahul checkmate Jagan ?

Ever since Rahul Gandhi was elevated to the top post in the Cong hierarchy, many started wondering whether Rahul can checkmate YS.Jagan in Andhra Pradesh who is at present creating tsunami even from jail, which is resulting in exodus from all parties. All eyes are focused on Cong Yuvraj and whether he could checkmate Jagan. He for the first time is holding meet with all the states PCC chiefs and CMs. Currently everyone is focusing on AP as all surveys are predicting clean sweep to YSRCP with Cong slipping to third position.

Many are watching with keen interest whether Rahul can take strong and bold decision to strengthen Cong before any further loss. This is because Rahul has no mass image in the state while Jagan already showed his power in by-elections. Every year we go through the farce of what is popularly called Lover’s Day. Boys and girls gather in droves at Necklace and other rendezvous points to exchange flowers, greetings, etc. It is claimed that these meetings sometimes degenerate into unhealthy scenes.

The questions is : Boys and Girls have terrible freedom nowadays and they either with parental permission or hoodwinking the parents, move very freely with each other. The spate of acid attacks and suicides of these youngsters is believed to be a result of their utilising the freedom very fully, and when the girl draws a line the boy, out of frustration either wants to punish her and pours acid etc, or if he is a weakling, commits suicide.

When they have so much freedom and mingle without let or hindrance, as they please, why this Lovers’ Day?The Day was appropriate when the younsters did not have the freedom which they grab and enjoy now.

The Bajrang Dal VHP etc want to prevent the celebration of Valentine’s Day as it is alien to or culture and they get notorious . My suggestion to them is this instead of fighting a losing battle, why not they channel their energies in a constructive way? We have Raksha Bandhan Day when every girl/lady is a sister. Why not Bajrang Dal declare the Brother’s Day and ensure that it is popularized throughout the world?

TDP demands Investigation on Hero Nagarjuna

TDP senior leader Varla Ramaiah has said the CBI should investigate into the relationship between actor Akkineni Nagarjuna and industrialist Nimmagadda Prasad, presently lodged in the Chanchalguda jail because of his involvement in the illegal assets case of Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.

Talking to the media here on Wednesday, Ramaiah said the CBI sleuths should find out why Nagarjuna was frequently meeting Nimmagadda in the jail. He also said the IT authorities, who started investigation into the income of film producer Bandla Ganesh, also should find out his relationship with the PCC chief Botcha Satyanarayana. Demanding that the findings of IT searches in the producer’s house and offices be made public, the TDP leader said the houses of Botcha also should be searched.

It may be recalled that another TDP senior leader Dadi Veerabhadra Rao on Tuesday expressed doubts that Union Tourism Minister K. Chiranjeevi and the PCC chief Botcha were behind Bandla Ganesh.

IT authorities searched the office and residences of Bandla Ganesh for two days and took him to the Aayakar Bhavan, for questioning on Tuesday. Ganesh paid an advance tax of Rs one crore and came out of the problem temporarily. IT authorities told him that they would compute his income and asked him to be prepared to pay more.

Sunny Leone Complaint on Khan

Actress Sunny Leone is “emotionally and mentally disturbed” after Kamaal R. Khan (KRK) claimed that she had made the controversial statement – “Rape is not a crime, it’s just a surprise”. The actress has now filed an FIR against KRK.

“Sunny is emotionally and mentally very disturbed with the false allegations levied by Kamaal Khan against her, and the cheap and demeaning jokes that he is continuously posting on his twitter account in her name, thereby outraging her modesty openly on a public platform,” Rizwan Siddiquee, lawyer of the actress, told.

“Resultantly, she has been crying inconsolably and is not in a proper frame of mind to even talk to the media with regard to such built-up controversies surrounding her.”

He added: “As the acts committed by Kamaal Khan are largely cognizable, to protect her legitimate rights and interest we have filed an FIR under Sections 500, 504, 509 of the Indian Penal Code together with Section 66 A of the Information Technology Act 2000. “The said FIR was registered with the Versova police station on Feb 12. The police will accordingly investigate the matter at the earliest and proceed accordingly.”

Following KRK’s comments, Sunny had filed a complaint with the Cyber Crime Investigation Cell of the Mumbai Police Feb 4. However, the small-time actor continued tweeting against the actress, forcing her to file an FIR against him. It could lead to Kamaal’s arrest.

Ganesh comments on ‘Binami’

Cine actor cum producer Bandla Ganesh has tweeted in twitter saying that he was not a benami to anybody and it was not correct on the part of anybody to make him as a scapegoat. On Wednesday, he bemoaned in twitter that he was a hard worker since his childhood days and it was not correct on the part of anybody to malign his image.

It may be recalled that Income Tax officials had conducted raids on Monday and inquired into his assets on Tuesday at their office in Basheerbagh quizzing Ganesh. Today, several newspapers have published news on Ganesh alleging that he offered Rs.1.5 crore rupees as income tax and leave him from the cases.

CM’s Facebook Complaint !

PCC official spokespersons have lodged a complaint with the City Crime Station located at Control Room premises here on Wednesday asking the police to initiate action against the persons who were posting the Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy’s image by morphing his photo and posting abusive messages along with them.

The complainants, PCC official spokesperson Maddineni Ajay and others, have alleged that the photo had been uploaded from ‘Telangana Muddubidda’ website and the up-loaders have themselves described that they were TRSV leader Balka Suman’s fans.

What did Krish like in Sonakshi?

It is now confirmed that Bollywood glam girl Sonakshi Sinha will be pairing up with Mahesh Babu in a movie titled Shivam directed by Krish. When this announcement came, every one are surprised why Krish preferred Sonakshi for the role. Talking to a leading newspaper, he revealed, “I had Sonakshi in my mind while I was sketching the female lead. The character, Meenakshi, will have big and beautiful eyes. And when I saw her in Dabangg, I was impressed. Her eyes are mighty expressive, and hold a lot of power.”

The movie will go to sets towards the end of the year. Mahesh will have to complete both the movies by Sukumar and Srinu Vaitla (Aagadu) before that. Aswini Dutt will be producing the movie on his Vyjayanthi movies banner.

Kahaani Telugu remake from April !

The regular shooting of the Telugu remake of Super hit Bollywood movie, Kahaani will commence this summer in April. Nayanatara is essaying the role of a pregnant woman. This role was performed by Vidya Balan in the Hindi version. Nayanatara has allotted dates in April for this yet untitled film.

Director Sekhar Kammula is working on making the film better and suitable for Telugu audience. For this purpose he has sought novel writer Yandamuri Veerendranath’s help. Currently, both are working on it. The original film went on to become a blockbuster film.

Baadshah’s Europe Tour !

After finishing the item song shoot of the movie, the entire unit of Baadshah will be flying to Europe tomorrow for 2 songs hoot. They will begin a song shoot in Switzerland from 16th and will later fly to Spain to can one more song. Both these songs are expected to be completed by 25th of this month. With this all the songs of the movie will be canned except one. The unit will be back to Hyderabad after that and will resume shooting here.

The makers are planning to release the movie in April. Kajal Agarwal is playing the female lead in the movie while Navdeep and Kelly Dorjee will be seen in negative roles in this action entertainer. Gopi Mohan and Kona Venkat are writing the script along with Sreenu Vaitla. Thaman is composing the music.
