Opposition protested against Govt in various methods but nothing could make Govt budge. Frustrated TDP leader Somireddy Chandramohanreddy said farmers are waiting for the first opportunity to hang Congress due its failure to protect their interests. He alleged that while the farmers are unable to come out of the quagmaire of problems, Govt is unable to find solution with CM Kiran turning out to be complete novice.

“As an actor, Chiranjeevi might have forgotten his script and caused a lot of confusion. If an actor reads out the script of another actor, it will cause a lot of chaos. Chiranjeevi should remember what his script was before the 2009 elections. He said his party was committed to achieve “Samajika Telangana” and he had agreed for the same during the all-party meeting. He might have forgotten all that now, but the people of Telangana have not,” Kodandaram said.

Kodandaram also found fault with union home minister Sushil Kumar Shinde for going back on the deadline for Telangana.

“He is under pressure from Seemandhra leaders. And there is no merit in the argument that Telangana demand would lead to more demands for smaller states,” he said.

However, sources say the I-T raids could have been targeted at Pradesh Congress Committee president Botsa Satyanarayana who was engaged in a sort of cold war with Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy. There were reports that it was Botsa who is the actual financier for Ganesh’s films, but in a clandestine manner. In fact, Ganesh himself admitted in the past that he was a close associate of Botsa.

The meeting of the PCC president with Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy within an hour of the IT officials’ raid on Ganesh house on Tuesday lent credence to the speculations that the raids definitely have political implications.

Ganesh who began as a small time comedian in films, produced several movies in the past such as Anjaneyulu and Gabbar Singh and now, he is producing Badshah with Junior NTR, besides two more films with Allu Arjun and Ram Charan Teja. And definitely, he has to have the sound financial background. The IT officials are now digging his background.

However all his plans proved futile as his actor brother Natasimha Balakrishna sided with Chandra Babu after getting his daughter married to Babu’s son.Now Harikrishna is indulging in powerful games with his star sons Young Tiger NTR and Kalyan Ram.

While NTR campaigned for the party in the last elections, with Babu sidelining him irked him so much that many thought that he was behind rebellion of Kodali Nani. NTR felt humiliated when TDP announced bandh during his film Dammu release. From then on he is nurturing grudge and is waiting to wreak vengeance.

However Harikrishna and NTR many times made it clear that they will work for the party.

Now buzz is his other son Kalyan Ram is also expressing his wish to serve the party. Kalyan Ram is currently busy with 3D entertainer OM. It has to be seen how Harikrishna unleashes his star sons and whether it will have positive or negative impact.

Addressing meetings during her ‘Maro Praja Prasthanam’ in Nalgonda district on Monday, she said her brother Jagan was tiger, though pushed into a jail because of political considerations. She said she was accepting the challenge of Congress chief whip Gandra Venkata Ramana Reddy that they should fight it out with the people.

Naidu held a teleconference from Guntur where he is continuing his ‘Vastunnaa Meekosam’ pada yatra, with constituency in charges, MPs, MLAs, MLCs and other leaders on Tuesday. He has congratulated party leaders who worked for the victory of TDP in the cooperative elections. He said despite the government creating hurdles right from member enrolment to elections, he said the party proved its mettle. He has expressed his satisfaction over completing 2000 km in his walkathon of 132 days. Stating that only TDP could give an efficient and corruption-free governance, he said party ranks should take this message into the people. He also asked them to re-launch the ‘Palle Palleku’ programme from February 15, to take the message of the party to every village.

Naidu also asked party men to work for the victory of MLC candidates from the graduates constituency, Chigurupati Vara Prasad, Kasumilli Venkata Suryanarayana Rao (Chinababu) and Chandrasekhar. He also directed them to the public hearings of discoms on February 19, 21, 23 and 25 in Vijayawada, Visakha, Warangal and Hyderabad and protest against power charges hike to the tune of over Rs. 12,000 crore.

According to information, Nara Lokesh is planning a mega programme in Pulivendula under the auspices of the NTR Trust, to enthuse the party workers.

Lokesh appears to be preparing to step into the shoes of his father as early as possible. He has been participating in the party activities actively in recent times. However, he is trying to go into the field, mingle with the party workers and prove his charisma, before actually taking a major role in the party.

To start with, he is widely participating in marriages and other functions of party leaders and cadres, building up goodwill. He is also organizing some programmes under the auspices of the NTR Trust. It is as part of this initiative that he is planning a programme in Jagan’s fortress Pulivendula. Local leaders are making massive arrangements for Lokesh’s programme. Lokesh is also trying to bring his father-in-law and actor Nandamuri Bala Krishna to the programme, to make it a mega event. Meanwhile Bala Krishna’s daughter Brahmani (Lokesh’s wife) is increasingly managing the affairs of Heritage Foods, the family business of Chandra Babu Naidu, as Lokesh is spending more time on politics than the business.
