Must Watch Films Coming to OTT This Week
In the final week of September 2023, leading OTT platforms are gearing up to delight movie and series enthusiasts with a diverse lineup of content in multiple languages. This particular weekend, starting from September 28th, promises an exceptional cinematic experience for both theatergoers and streaming enthusiasts.
One of the most eagerly awaited films of the year, “Agent,” dedicated to Akkineni fans, experienced a disappointing run at the box office when it was released back in April. Surprisingly, its OTT premiere has been postponed until now.
However, the long-anticipated OTT release date has finally been unveiled. “Agent,” a thrilling spy movie directed by Surender Reddy, will be available for streaming on Sony Liv starting from September 29th. Meanwhile, Netflix is set to offer Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha’s “Kushi” from October 1st, creating more excitement among viewers.
Nitya Menen’s “Kumari Srimathi” Web Series will captivate audiences on Amazon Prime Video from September 28th, while Dulquer Salmaan’s latest film, “King of Kotha,” which faced box office setbacks, will also make its OTT debut, primarily on September 28th on Disney Plus Hotstar.
For Hindi cinema lovers, this week brings an array of options, including “Charlie Chopra and The Mystery of Solang Valley” on Sony Liv, “Choona” on Netflix, “Hostel Daze 4” on Prime Video, and “Tumse Na Ho Payega” on Disney+ Hotstar. Additionally, “Gen V” on Prime Video and “The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar” on Netflix are set to premiere this week, along with “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” on Netflix, following its theatrical run.
Atlee’s Over The Top Comments Leading To Heavy Trolling!
Atlee is a very good filmmaker who has a perfect grip on the craft. He knows his audience and delivers what they want. He is a self-proclaimed mass commercial director who enjoys doing fan service and giving huge elevations to heroes. He is known for packaging his movies very well and present his movies in a very convincing manner.
He often faces complaints about being very basic, stuffing too many elements and his scenes resembling a lot of other South Indian films. Despite all his flaws, his movies are known to please everyone and ended up as blockbusters till now. His recent outing ‘Jawan’ is racing towards 1000 crores and created a sensation in Bollywood. He is receiving a lot of praise though he faced the same complaints once again. But it looks like Atlee is getting a little carried away in the interviews lately.
The ‘Bigil’ director said that he might send ‘Jawan’ to the Oscars and will talk to SRK about it. During his chat with Anupama Chopra, he revealed that Hollywood makers gave an offer for him to collaborate in the future after looking at the chase sequence of ‘Jawan’ in the second half. While the scene definitely drew whistles and cheers in theatres, one cannot deny that it is over-the-top with zero logic. While we enjoyed them wholeheartedly, even SRK’s fans would not say that it impressed Hollywood makers or had a chance of winning the Oscars.
It looks like Atlee needs to calm himself a bit and stop becoming a troll material. He revealed that he is going to take four months off as he wants to spend time with his newborn. Let us see if he cools himself down and make crowd-pleasing cinema without making these statements once again or not.

Youthful entertainers in Telugu Cinema have become rare in recent times. Crazy and Maddening film, MAD, is coming out on 6th October which is an unpretentious, no-holds-barred comedy.
Kalyan Shankar is debuting as writer-director and Haarika Suryadevara is debuting as producer with this film on Sithara Entertainments. Sai Soujanya of Fortune Four Cinemas is co-producing the film. Suryadevara Naga Vamsi is presenting the film.
Sangeeth Shobhan, Ram Nithin, Narne Nithin, Sri Gouri Priya Reddy, Ananthika Sanilkumar, Gopikaa Udyan are playing leading roles in this MAD movie. Bheems Ceciroleo is composing music and released songs have become viral hits.
Navin Nooli is editing the film and Shamdat Sainudeen and Dinesh Krishnan B are handling cinematography. With teaser creating big impact, makers are confident that the movie will be a huge blockbuster.
Sam Takes A Trip Down The Memory Lane At Salzburg!
Star actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu is on vacation mode once again. After a long trip in the USA, she flew back to India for a couple of weeks but she is back on a foreign trip once again. She added, “Some films get better with each revisit. But Sound Of Music remains the same and transports you back to childhood, instead. Coming here and visiting this location in person hit hard and tender all at the same time.”
Samantha has faced multiple flops in recent times like ‘Yashoda’ and ‘Shaakunthalam’. Her ‘Khushi’ too did not deliver as expected and is being termed as a commercial failure. All the hard work she did despite her health issues, has gone in vain. She worked on an action thriller web series under Raj & DK’s direction. This Indian version of ‘Citadel’ has Varun Dhawan as the male lead. The release date is yet to be announced.
Rakshit Explains How He Got Over His Break Up With Rashmika!
Kannada beauty Rashmika Mandanna is a star actress in Telugu right now but she rose to fame with Kannada’s film ‘Kirik Party’. She became the crush of youth with that film and got immense craze. She was 20 years old at that time and she fell in love with the film’s hero-writer and producer Rakshit Shetty. They got engaged shortly after the movie became a blockbuster but they both parted ways mutually due to unknown reasons.
Both Rakshit Shetty and Rashmika kept their distance from each other and never talk about each other during interviews too initially but the Kannada hero claims that they still talk to each other now and wish each other on their movie releases. Rakshit stated, “It’s not appropriate to hate someone just because we have disagreements. Everyone has their own personality and we should respect that. There’s no need to harbor hatred over differing views. When we don’t see eye to eye, it’s best to let go and move forward in life. Moreover, carrying that pain serves no purpose. It only weighs us down and can hinder our future plans. In the journey of life, such burdens are futile, it’s better to let them go.”
Talking about emotional pain, he said, “Forgetting the trauma and releasing the burden from one’s mind can be extremely challenging. But if you approach it with the right perspective, it becomes easier to let go. Some people take a long time to heal and move on from such pains or burdens. Others grasp it more quickly and free themselves from the emotional weight. I managed to do so relatively swiftly.”
Rakshit is currently enjoying the success of his blockbuster flick ‘Sapta Saagara Daache Yello.” It was released as ‘Sapta Sagaralu Daati’ in Telugu on the 22nd and crossed the breakeven mark already. The second part will also be coming soon.
