Mrunal Getting A Lot of Praise For ‘Made In Heaven’!
Despite working in a handful of Bollywood films, not many Southern audiences knew Mrunal Thakur. But it changed completely when ‘Sita Ramam’ was released as the Marathi girl swept everyone away off their feet with her gorgeous looks and impeccable talent. She quickly became the heartthrob of many.
She is now working with Natural Star Nani on ‘Hi Nanna’ which is an emotional drama. She is also the female lead in Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming film under Parasuram’s direction and she is all set to make her debut in Tamil with Siva Karthikeyan’s movie. While her career in the South is going at jet speed, Bollywood projects have dried up for her. Some of Mrunal’s recent Bollywood outings flopped and she is trying to impress the audience with content on OTT platforms.
After raising the temperatures with her act in ‘Lust Stories 2’, she recently appeared in ‘Made In Heaven 2’. Made by Zoya Akhtar, this web series was a huge success and the second season as premiered last week. Sobhita Dhulipala is the lead actress in this series and she is a wedding planner.
Mrunal plays the role of a star actress in one episode where she is in an unhealthy relationship. Despite all the red flags, she ends up marrying him which is quite sad and showcases the reality of the world we are in. Mrunal’s performance is winning a lot of praise for her portrayal of that character and critics are talking a lot about it too.

ఈ సమయంలో ‘బ్రో’ సినిమా రావడం..అందులో పవర్ స్టార్ పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ దేవుడి పాత్ర పోషించండో అల్లుడికి మంచి బూస్టింగ్ లా కనిపించింది. అంత వరకూ అల్లుడు వెనుక అప్పుడప్పడు చిరంజీవి సహకారం తప్ప మిగతా వారి సపోర్ట్ పెద్దగా కనిపించలేదు. బ్యాకెండ్ లోఉన్నా నేరుగా ముందుకొచ్చి ప్రమోట్ చేసింది లేదు. ఇండస్ట్రీలో ఎవరికి వారు సొంతగా ఎదగాలని అలా వదిలేసారా? లేక ఇంకేవైనా కారణాలు ఉన్నాయా? అన్నది తెలియదు.
కానీ యాక్సిడెంట్ తర్వాత మాత్రం పవన్ నీ ముందు నేను ఉన్నానంటూ ముందుకొచ్చారు. అందుకే సాయితేజ్ బెడ్ మీద విరామంలోఉన్న సమయంలో ‘రిపబ్లిక్’ సినిమాని పీకే నెత్తిన వేసుకున్న సంగతి తెలిసిందే. ఆ సినిమా ప్రచారం కోసం పీకే చేసిన సాయం అంతా ఇంతా కాదు. నేరుగా ప్రీ రిలీజ్ ఈవెంట్కి విచ్చేసి సినిమా కి కాస్త బజ్ తీసుకొచ్చాడు. సోషల్ మీడియాలోనూ కొన్ని రకాల పోస్ట్ లు అభిమానుల్లో ఉత్సాహం నింపేలా చేసాయి. తాజాగా ఈసారి తేజ్ కోసం ఏకంగా గ్లోబల్ స్టార్ రామ్ చరణ్ బరిలోకి దిగాడు.
సాయి తేజ్ ‘సత్య’ అనే మ్యూజికల్ షార్ట్ ఫిలింలో నటించాడు. ఈ షార్ట్ వీడియో చిత్రానికి సాయి తేజ్ మిత్రుడు నవీన్ విజయ్ కృష్ణ (నటుడు నరేశ్ తనయుడు) దర్శకత్వం వహించారు. ఓ సైనికుడు తన దేశం కోసం చేసే త్యాగాలను ఈ షార్ట్ ఫిలింలో చూపించనున్నారు. గాయని శృతి రంజని ఈ వీడియో చిత్రానికి సంగీతం అందించారు.
ఇందులో తేజ్ సరసన కలర్స్ స్వాతి నటించింది. ఈ గీతాన్ని నేరుగా చరణ్ చేతుల మీదుగా లాంచ్ చేస్తున్నారు. ఇప్పటివరకూ తేజ్ కోసం చరణ్ చేసిందేం లేదు. సినిమా బాగుంటే ఓ ట్వీట్ తప్ప! దగ్గరుండి ప్రోత్సహించింది లేదు. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో సత్య కోసం చరణ్ రావడం కావాల్సినంత పాపులారిటీ తెచ్చి పెడుతుంది. మొన్న పవన్..నేడు చరణ్ –సాయితేజ్ జర్నీలో కీలక మార్పులే తెస్తున్నట్లు కనిపిస్తోంది.
‘Salaar’ To Clash With ‘The Vaccine War’ As Expected!
Bollywood director Vivek Agnihotri made a super hit like ‘The Kashmir Files’ but his previous films like ‘Tashkent Files’ and ‘Buddha In Traffic Jam’ were not commercial successes. But the humongous success of his last outing had made him very famous. Known for his affiliation with the right winger organizations, he is making ‘The Vaccine War’ and there was news about it competing with ‘Salaar’ which became a big talking point.
While Vivek Agnihotra neither agreed nor denied it, the release date of ‘The Vaccine War’ has finally been decided. The movie is going to arrive in theatres on 28th September which is the exact same date on which Prabhas’ action flick ‘Salaar’ is hitting the screens. Nana Patekar and Pallavi Joshi are seen in the glimpse which was released recently.
Previously, ‘The Kashmir Files’ went head-to-head with ‘Radhe Shyam’ and ended up being the winner. But the situation is a bit different and there is a lot of hype on ‘Salaar’. We need to wait and see what happens in the next couple of weeks.
The director said that he made his whole team research about COVID – 19 as the shooting of ‘The Kashmir Files’ got delayed due to the virus. It resulted in the team finding out some key information regarding the finding of the vaccine by our scientists. He explained that the vaccine was made by simple scientists who were confined to a lab the whole time and they reportedly got to know about the women who worked on the vaccine apart from looking after their households during the lockdown. After researching about them for a year, Vivek’s team found out that a big bio war happened against India and it was done to stop India from making the virus.

Actor-producer Upendra is a name that needs no introduction. He has an impressive filmography and made many iconic films that were ahead of its time. Even before the Pan-India trend started, he acted in various languages and attained a cult status. To give an example of his direction prowess, he made a film on a Robot and the danger it poses in the 90s itself.
However, the veteran film personality landed in a big controversy. It is said that Upendra made alleged casteist remarks about Dalits. This has increased the political heat and resulted in some tense situations.
Protests were held against the actor demanding strict action against him for the alleged remarks he made. A Cabinet Minister in Karnataka reacted strongly to this and said it is not expected from a person of Upendra’s stature to use such objectionable proverbs.
The intensity of the issue is such that multiple FIRs were registered against the actor and he was also reportedly asked to appear before the officers who are dealing with the case for the questioning. With this, the actor knocked on the doors of the Court.
Upendra faced a big relief with this as the High Court of Karnataka imposed a stay. The actor-producer moved the court seeking directives to quash the FIRs that were filed against him. Counsel representing the actor said that he has no intentions of hurting anyone and the proverb was used casually. After staying the FIRs, notices were sent to the concerned parties to file the counters.
Going into details, Upendra had an interaction session with fans on Instagram and Facebook. During the live, he was asked a few questions. Talking about the political party he set up, Upendra is said to have used an objectionable proverb against the Dalit community which raised many eyeballs.
Laws that bat the safety of the community are very strict and would face strict punishment. Following this, a case under the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act was filed and a few First Information Reports were filed. It is a big shock that, a person of his stature used such comments.

He dropped the teaser of ‘Vyuham’ a month or two ago and the second teaser is out now and it is sure to create a huge controversy. At the end of the teaser, the actor who plays the role of Chandra Babu Naidu says that no one needs to stab Pawan Kalyan in the back as he can do it all by himself. This is sure to generate a lot of debate. It is a story that showcases what might have happened after YS Rajasekhar Reddy died in the helicopter accident and how Andhra politics turned out. The teaser presented what went inside YS Jagan’s household and how the opposition parties tried to corner the current CM of Andhra Pradesh.
RGV says that it is the true story of various plots weaved by various people for various agendas after the sudden death of YSR. The lookalikes of Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, Sonia Gandhi, CBN, Viyamma, YS Bharati and others are amazing. The second teaser does not have a lot of dialogues but Ajmal Amir as YS Jagan once again is surely going to deliver an impressive performance.
The cast includes Ajmal Amir, Manasa Radhakrishnan, Dhanunjay Prabhune, Surabhi Prabhavati, Rekha Nirosha, Vasu Inturi, Kota Jayaram, Elina Tuteja and others. Sajeesh Rajendran is the director of photography and the movie is expected to come out soon. Let us wait and see what kind of controversy RGV creates once again with this movie.
Video: ‘Saindhav’ Team Showcases Its 8 Key Characters!
Victory Venkatesh’s upcoming action thriller ‘Saindhav’ has been keeping the audience hooked with regular updates. This pan-Indian flick has brought top-notch artists onboard and people are curious to see what ‘HIT’ fame Sailesh Kolanu is making with them. It is Venkatesh’s landmark 75th film and the team has revealed that Shraddha Srinath will be seen as Manognya, Ruhani Sharma will be seen as Dr. Renu, Andrea will be seen as Jasmine and Nawazuddin Siddiqui is playing the role of Vikas Malik.
A child artist named Sara is also playing another key role in the movie. Sailesh Kolanu is directing it and passionate producer Venkat Boyanapalli of Niharika Entertainment banner producing it. The makers recently wrapped up a high-octane emotional climax with 8 key actors participating in the shoot. On Independence Day, the makers showcased a small video to introduce the 8 main characters of the movie. Venkatesh, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Shraddha Srinath, Ruhani Sharma, Andrea Jeremiah, Sara, and Jayaprakash are the principal cast of the movie and the entire story revolves around these characters.
They released a small video showcasing all of them walking together with style and swagger. The intensity is very much visible and it is going to be a treat to watch all of them together on the big screens.
This star-studded film will have the backing of an efficient technical crew as well. Santosh Narayanan is composing the music while S Manikandan is the director of photography. Avinash Kolla is the production designer while Garry Bh is the editor. Kishore Thallur is the co-producer. ‘Saindhav’ is a pan-Indian movie that will release in all southern languages and Hindi during Christmas on December 22nd.
Wedding Date Confirmed For Varun & Lavanya?
Mega Prince Varun Tej and gorgeous heroine Varun Tej have gotten engaged on June 9th and it was a beautiful ceremony with family members from Varun and Lavanya’s sides present to bless the couple. Post their engagement, they went on a romantic vacation abroad as well and those clicks went viral.
There is a rumor that they have opted for a destination wedding and the venue is going to be Italy. The pair has already picked an authentic location and the preparations are reportedly going on already. It is expected to be a private wedding with just 50 members present on the special day.
Sources say that the wedding was supposed to happen this month but it got postponed to November due to some unavoidable circumstances. Apparently, they have finalized on the wedding date and it is expected to be announced soon.

Coming to Varun, he is working on ‘Gandheevadhari Arjuna’ which is getting released on 25th August. He is also doing a pan-Indian project as an Indian Air Force pilot. Debutant Shakti Pratap Singh Hada is directing it. He also has Karuna Kumar’s (‘Palasa’ fame) project named ‘Matka’ in his hands.
