క్రేజీ హీరోయిన్ సమంత గత కొంత కాలంగా మయోసైటీస్ తో బాధపడుతూ చికిత్స పొందుతోంది. ఆ కారణంగా సినిమా ప్రమోషన్స్ కి దూరంగా వుంటూ వస్తున్న సమంత ఇటీవల ‘శాకుంతలం’ ప్రెస్ మీట్ లో కనిపించి సర్ ప్రైజ్ చేసింది. ఈ సందర్భంగా తన ఆరోగ్యం గురించి మాట్లాడుతూ భావోద్వేగానికి గురి కావడం ఆమె ఫ్యాన్స్ తో పాటు ప్రతీ ఒక్కరినీ షాక్ కు గురిచేసింది. ఇదిలా వుంటే మయోసైటీస్ నుంచి సమంత ఫాస్ట్ గా రికవరీ అవుతోంది.
తాజాగా తను బాలీవుడ్ దర్శకద్వయం రాజ్ అండ్ డీకె రూపొందిస్తున్న ‘సీటాడెల్’లో నటిస్తోంది. అవెంజర్స్ సిరీస్ చిత్రాల దర్శకులు రుస్సో బ్రదర్స్ రూపొందించిన నిర్మించిన ఈ వెబ్ సిరీస్ కు ఇండియన్ వెర్షన్ గా ‘సీటాడెల్’ రూపొందుతోంది. ఇందులో సమంత కీలక పాత్రలో కనిపించబోతోంది. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో సామ్ సోషల్ మీడియా వేదికగా తన స్నేహితురాలు డబ్బింగ్ ఆర్టిస్ట్ సింగర్ చిన్మయిపై చేసిన ట్వీట్ ప్రస్తుతం నెట్టింట వైరల్ గా మారింది.
ఈ ఇద్దరు స్నేహితుల మధ్య సోషల్ మీడియా వేదికగా సాగిన ఆసక్తికర సంభాషణ ఇప్పుడు నెట్టింట వైరల్ గా మారి ఆకట్టుకుంటోంది. మయోసైటీస్ నుంచి కోలుకుంటున్న సమంత ఇటీవలే ‘సీటాడెల్’ షూటింగ్ లో పాల్గొనడం మొదలు పెట్టింది. హాలీవుడ్ దర్శకద్వయం రుస్సోబ్రదర్స్ ఈ సిరీస్ ని నిర్మిస్తున్నారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా సమంత తాము నిర్మిస్తున్న సిరీస్ లోకి ఎంటరవుతున్న నేపథ్యంలో హాలీవుడ్ దర్శకద్వయం రుస్సో బ్రదర్స్ స్వాగతం పలికారు.
దీనిపై హీరో దర్శకుడు చిన్మయి భర్త రాహుల్ రవీంద్రన్ స్పందించారు. ‘సామ్ ప్రయాణం ఎలా మొదలైందో నాకింకా గుర్తుంది. హాలీవుడ్ ప్రముఖ దర్శకులు రుస్సో బ్రదర్స్ సామ్ ను తమ ప్రాజెక్ట్ లోకి ఆహ్వానించడం చూస్తుంటే ఎంతో గర్వంగా వుంది అని పేర్కొన్నాడు. ఈ ట్వీట్ పై చిన్మయి స్పందిస్తూ ‘సమంత ఓ క్వీన్..ఇదే నిదర్శనం’ అని ట్వీట్ చేసింది. చిన్మయి ట్వీట్ పై సమంత కామెంట్ చేసింది. ‘నేను కాదు నువ్వే చిన్మయి..అలాగే రాహుల్ లాంటి స్నేహితుడు నాకు లభించడం నిజంగా నా అదృష్టం’ అని పేర్కొంది.
చాలా కాలం తరువాత తన స్నేహితురాలు చిన్మయి గురించి సోషల్ మీడియా వేదికగా సమంత స్పందించడంతో ప్రస్తుతం వీరిద్దరి సంభాషణ నెట్టింట వైరల్ గా మారింది. సామ్ హీరోయిన్ గా ఎంట్రీ ఇచ్చిన ‘ఏమాయ చేసావె’ మూవీ నుంచి చిన్మయి తనకు డబ్బింగ్ చెబుతూ వస్తోంది. అప్పటి నుంచి వీరిద్దరి మధ్య మంచి అనుబంధం కూడా ఏర్పడింది. అయితే ‘యూటర్న్’ మూవీ నుంచి సామ్ తన పాత్రలకు తానే డబ్బింగ్ చెప్పుకోవడం మొదలు పెట్టడంతో ఇద్దరి మధ్య దూరం పెరిగిందనే వార్తలు వినిపించాయి. తాజా సంభాషణతో అవిన్నా అబద్ధం అని తేలింది.

ఇంట్లో తనను వేధిస్తున్నారని నవాజుద్దీన్ భార్య ఆలియా సిద్ధిఖీ ఇటీవల ఆరోపించారు. తాజాగా నవాజుద్దీన్ సిద్ధిఖీ అతని కుటుంబ సభ్యులపై పలు కేసులు నమోదవుతున్నాయని ఆమె లాయర్ వెల్లడించారు. నవాజుద్దీన్ అతని కుటుంబ సభ్యులు తన క్లయింట్ కు తిండి పెట్టలేదని..మంచంపై చోటివ్వలేదని అలాగే బాత్రూమ్ కి కూడా వెళ్లనివ్వలేదని ఆలియా తరపు న్యాయవాది ఆరోపించారు.
లాయర్ ఇంకా చాలా ఆరోపణలతో ముందుకొచ్చారు. వారు నా క్లయింట్ (ఆలియా) చుట్టూ అనేకమంది మగ అంగరక్షకుల(సెక్యూరిటీ)ను కూడా వలయంలా ఉంచారు. నా క్లయింట్ ప్రస్తుతం ఆమె మైనర్ పిల్లలతో ఉంటున్న హాల్ లో CCTV కెమెరాలను అమర్చారు. ఆలియా నిరాడంబరతను పోలీసు అధికారుల ముందు అవమానించారు… అని ఆరోపించారు. మైనర్ కొడుకు చట్టబద్ధత ప్రశ్నించబడిందని ఆలియా తరపు న్యాయవాది పేర్కొన్నారు.

రిజ్వాన్ సిద్ధికీ (ఆలియా లాయర్) విడుదల చేసిన ఒక ప్రకటన సారాంశం ఇలా ఉంది. “మిస్టర్ నవాజుద్దీన్ సిద్ధిఖీ అతని కుటుంబ సభ్యులు ఆలియాను ఇంటి నుండి గెంటేసేందుకు ప్రతిదీ చేసారు. వారు ఆమెపై అక్రమాస్తులను కలిగి ఉందని నేరారోపణను దాఖలు చేశారు. ఆ తర్వాత పోలీసులకు ఫిర్యాదు చేసి వారు ఆమెను అరెస్టు చేయిస్తామని బెదిరించారు. ప్రతిరోజూ సూర్యాస్తమయం తర్వాత ఆమెను పోలీస్ స్టేషన్ కు పిలుస్తున్నారు“ అని కూడా లాయర్ పేర్కొన్నారు.
Is This Why Pawan Is Opting For Remakes?
Powerstar Pawan Kalyan has developed a special interest towards remakes lately. His comeback film ‘Vakeel Saab’ was a remake and his last film ‘Bheemla Nayak’ was also taken from Malayalam super hit flick ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’. Though many of Pawan’s movies including ‘Gokulamlo Seetha’, ‘Suswagatham’, Khushi’, ‘Thammudu’, ‘Annavaram’, ‘Teenmaar’, ‘Gabbar Singh’, ‘Kaatamrayudu’ were remakes, he is picking only remakes these days which is worrying many.
As we know, ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’ is the only original story he is working on. This big-budget movie has been in the making for a long time. He gave the green signal to ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’ which is going to be an adaptation of Vijay’s hit movie ‘Theri’ which came out in 2015. Fans are not at all happy about it. There is ‘#OG’ with Sujeeth which is expected to be an original script but the news about him acting in ‘Vinodaya Sitham’ has been doing rounds for a long time.
Despite going against the wishes of fans, Pawan Kalyan is reportedly keen on doing the ‘Vinodaya Sitham’ as it can be finished in no time. Apparently, Pawan wants to finish as many projects as possible before focusing completely on the 2024 elections. Grapevine suggests that PK allotted a mere 20 days for this remake and his part is going to be completed during that time. Samuthirakani who made the original is expected to direct this remake as well.
As we know, Sai Dharam Tej will be seen as the other lead and reports claim that he is going to have more screen time than Pawan in this movie. The shooting of this film is expected to kickstart soon.
What Happened To ‘Rana Naidu’ and ‘Dhootha’?
The makers need to realise that having strong content is not enough. Releasing it at the right time is equally important whether it is a series or a movie. The timing is crucial and any sign of wrong planning leads to huge debacles. This is what happened to two web series. One of them is ‘Rana Naidu’ and the shooting of this series was wrapped up long back. The teasers and first look posters have been released by Netflix long back. But it has been a complete silence since then. The OTT platform released the 2024 schedule already but they did not announce ‘Rana Naidu’ release date which was quite surprising.
Same thing happened with Naga Chaitanya’s Amazon Prime Video web series ‘Dhootha’. Directed by elite filmmaker Vikram Kumar, the team is not at all promoting it. Chaitanya and Vikram Kumar made ‘Thank You’ last year and it ended up being a disaster. Many thought that the makers postponed the release date due to this but a lot of time passed by. There is no update from either ‘Rana Naidu’ team or ‘Dhootha’ team.
As we know, Venkatesh is currently working on his 75th film ‘Saindhav’ which is going to release in various languages. Sailesh Kolanu is the director of this project. Chaitanya is coming up with ‘Custody’ which was made by Venkat Prabhu. We don’t know what the OTT platforms are thinking but fans are getting worried about these two series. With the theatre business getting back its lost glory, a lot of stars are not showing interest in acting in web series these days. If they need big names becoming a part of OTT platforms, the officials need to release these two series as quickly as possible.

G Murali is the cinematographer and Prawin Pudi is the editor. Vijay is expected to be seen as a racer in this romantic drama while Samantha will be seen as his senior.
Coming to ‘Shaakunthalam’, the music is composed by Mani Sharma while ‘Shaakuntalam’ is written and directed by Gunasekhar. Neelima Guna produced this film while Shekar V Joseph is the cinematographer. Prawin Pudi is the editor while Sai Madhav Burra penned the dialogues. Presented by Dil Raju, Dev Mohan will be seen as Dushyanta. Ananya Nagalla, Aditi Balan, Mohan Babu, Prakash Rah, Gautam, Kabir Bedi, Kabir Singh Duhan and others played key roles. Raju Sundaram is the choreographer while Venkat and King Solomen designed the action.
