Rishi Sunak Supports His Counterpart On BBC’s Documentary!
The bloodshed riots in 2002 will go down as one of the dark episodes in the history of Gujarat. The inter-communal violence is said to have lasted for around three days. Thousands of victims from two communities lost their lives in the riots. Narendra Modi was the Chief Minister back then.
The riots made Narendra Modi not get a visa from the United States. However, he walked out freely from the issue after the Supreme Court gave a clean chit. Based on the evidence, the Apex Court said that Narendra Modi has no role to play in the riots.
But the recent documentary on the 2002 Gujarat Riots made by BBC kept many talking. The documentary says that Narendra Modi might have played a role in the riots and quoted the statements of the UK Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office.
India gave a harsh reaction to this and called the documentary propaganda. Citing the verdict of the Supreme Court, the Indian government said that the BBC is presenting the half-baked truths in the case.
Not just India the issue has rocked the politics in the United Kingdom as well. A Pakistan-origin MP raised the issue in the house and asked what the British government is feeling about this. Imran Hussain raised the topic in Parliament.
United Kingdom Prime Minister Rishi Sunak defended his counterpart on the issue. Saying that he will not support persecution anywhere, he said that he will not agree with the way Narendra Modi’s characterization was designed in the documentary.
College Suspends Student For Misbehaving With Actress!
It is known that talented actress Aparna Balamurali of Soorarai Pottru had a tough time when she visited a college campus to promote her upcoming film. A student of a college made the heroine uncomfortable by misbehaving with her on campus premises.
The issue created outrage and many supported Aparna Balamurali. The management of the college responded to the row and placed the accused on suspension. It is said that the Law College Student has been suspended for not less than one week for his behavior.
Aparna Balamurali who is awaiting the release of her upcoming film ‘Thankam’ visited Ernakulam Law College earlier this week. As part of the promotional activities, team Thankam reached the campus. An event was held at the college to promote the film.
A student rushed to the stage all of a sudden and gave a flower to Aparna Balamurali. Without seeking permission he shook hands with her. While clicking a picture he placed her hand on her shoulder.
The student who hosted the meeting said sorry to the actress after this happened. However, the student did not stop even after this. He again tried to shake his hands with the actress.
The issue raised many eyeballs as the actress is a noted one and had won a national award with her previous film. Finally, the law college student took action against the student and reportedly placed him under suspension.
Dil Raju & Mythri Movie Makers To Lock Horns Once Again?
This Sankranti season, we have witnessed an epic clash between Mythri Movie Makers and Dil Raju. The renowned production house had two big releases during the same season namely ‘Veera Simha Reddy’ and ‘Waltair Veerayya’. Despite releasing at the same time, both movies turned out to be hits and created a unique record for Mythri Movie Makers. They even entered the distribution field this time and ended up being successful.
On the other hand, Dil Raju produced ‘Varisu’ with Thalapathy Vijay and it was dubbed as ‘Vaarasudu’ in Telugu. He used all his influence and tried to block theatres from the two big releases and allotted a huge number of screens to his dubbing film. He even made a lot of controversial comments which garnered a lot of attention. Despite all this, Dil Raju’s film failed to get a positive response from the audience and ended up being a failure. It made Mythri Movie Makers as the clear winners of the Pongal season.
Latest reports suggest that Dil Raju and Mythri Movie Makers are expected to lock horns with each other during the next year’s Sankranti season too. If reports are to be believed, the team of ‘Pushpa – The Rule’ is aiming at a Sankranti release in 2024. As we know, Sukumar is the director and Mythri Movie Makers are bankrolling it. Grapevine suggests that they are going for an own release in the Nizam area and will collaborate with a third party and release the Hindi version by themselves as well.
On the other hand, Dil Raju is looking to release his pan-Indian project #RC15 during the same season. Directed by legendary filmmaker Shankar, Ram Charan is the lead actor while Kiara Advani is the heroine. It is one of the biggest movies in Charan’s and Dil Raju’s careers and the expectations are massive on this movie. If everything goes as planned, we may witness Allu Arjun and Charan’s clash at the box office. Let us wait and see which big shot producer wins this battle.
‘Bholaa Shankar’ Getting Pushed Back For Akhil’s ‘Agent’?
Previously, the team of ‘Bholaa Shankar’ announced that the action entertainer will be coming out on 14th April. But sources claim that it is going to be postponed and the new release date is 12th May. Releasing another film before the completion of 100 days for the film which is already running in theatres has happened to Chiranjeevi back in the 90s but not in recent times. Fans hoped that it would happen so that they could enjoy two films from Megastar in quick succession but it is not going to happen.
There is a talk that Akkineni Akhil’s ‘Agent’ is the real reason for this postponement. As we are aware, Anil Sunkara is the producer for both ‘Bholaa Shankar’ as well as ‘Agent’. Akhil’s film got postponed a lot of times already and the makers are now adamant on releasing the film either in the second week or in the third week of April. Director Surender Reddy has reportedly fastened the shooting and post-production works already. The makers are yet to start promotions. They released only a small teaser and they are going to release the lyrical videos, trailer and organize a pre-release event in the next two months. Also, this is a pan-Indian project and it needs huge promotions.
The team of ‘Bholaa Shankar’ are pretty relaxed. The movie is a remake of ‘Vedhalam’ and it is being directed by Meher Ramesh which created a bit of negativity. ‘Waltair Veerayya’ proved that Megastar can pull off a film if he is given some good mass scenes and comedy scenes despite a routine story. Also, it is a Telugu film and there is no pressure on the makers whereas the situation is completely different with Akhil’s ‘Agent’.
Yeka Yeka video song from Amigos shows Camaraderie of 3 unknown dopplegangers
Nandamuri Kalyan Ram currently working with debutant director Rajendra for his upcoming action entertainer “Amigos”. The film is generating immense interest among audience and recently released teaser took that to next level.
Today makers released the first single Yeka Yeka full video song from the film. It describes all of the fun, exciting, and enjoyable moments shared by the dopplegangers or complete strangers who quickly became friends. The song reaches the heart with its touching and catchy lyrics.
Yeka Yeka is an impressive Amigos number that will be registered as a Friendship number. The video song showcases the camaraderie of three doppelgangers. In each character, Kalyan Ram looks cool and carries his own swag and style. Ghibran composed and mastered the song, and Sarswati Puthra Ramajogayya Sastry wrote the lyrics.
Kalyan Ram is essaying a triple role in this movie and looked amazing in the song. The film will be releasing worldwide on February 10th, 2023.
