Krishna Vamsi’s Perfect Reply For Re-releasing His Film!
Krishna Vamsi who was once a top director in Tollywood has been struggling to make successful films over the past decade. He took a long gap after ‘Nakshatram’ and he is coming back now with a very interesting project. This movie has been in the making for a long time. It is titled ‘Rangamarthanda’ and he is hoping to score a hit with this movie.
As it is known, the re-release trend has gripped the entire Tollywood. On superstar Mahesh’s birthday, fans enjoyed the re-release of ‘Pokiri’ and the videos of them jumping in theatres went viral. After that, Chiranjeevi fans had re-releases of ‘Gharana Mogudu’, ‘Gang Leader’ and others. On Pawan’s birthday, ‘Jalsa’ got released. Prabhas fans re-released ‘Billa’ and ‘Rebel’ in theatres. Balayya fans enjoyed the re-release of ‘Chenna Keshava Reddy’ while Pawan fans recently had a re-release of ‘Khushi’. Now, fans of Mahesh are planning to release ‘Okkadu’ once again in theatres.
In the same manner, fans of director Krishna Vamsi asked him to release his memorable film ‘Sindhooram’ again. Starring Brahmaji and Ravi Teja in the lead, this movie was released in 1997. Despite all the critical acclaim and awards, it was a commercial failure. But, it gained a cult following among Telugu movie lovers.
When a fan posed the question regarding the re-release of ‘Sindhooram’, the ‘Khadgam’ director replied, “It took me 5 years to clear the debts of that film.” This explains what Krishna Vamsi faced due to this movie and he made it clear that he has no idea of re-release ‘Sindhooram’.
Coming back to ‘Rangamarthanda’, versatile actor Prakash Raj is playing the lead role according to sources and Brahmanandam is also a part of this movie. Top actress Ramya Krishna is playing a significant role. Produced by Houseful Movies and Rajashyamala Entertainments banners, Krishna Vamsi confirmed it as a story about all mothers and fathers. Legendary music composer Ilayaraja is working on this project while the late Sirivennela Seetharamasastry had penned the lyrics.

‘Varisu’ Trailer Talk: A Rehashed Version Of Many Telugu Movies!
Apart from Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna’s movies, Thalapathy Vijay’s family entertainer ‘Vaarasudu’ is all set to hit the screens this Sankranti season. Produced by Dil Raju and directed by Vamsi Paidipally, this movie is arriving on 12th January and there are massive expectations on it because of Vijay’s stardom and Dil Raju’s constant comments.
The theatrical trailer arrived a few a while ago and it gives a clear picture of what the movie is all about. The story revolves around a rich family headed by Sarathkumar and Jayasudha. Srikanth plays the role of the eldest son while ‘Kick’ Shyam will be seen as their second son. Vijay is the youngest of the lot. While the two elder brothers stay with their parents and look after the family business, Vijay will be seen traveling across the country and making memories.
Prakash Raj and Suman are playing negative roles. They create problems within the family and they get separated. The hero finds out about this and decides to reunite the entire family and save the company as well. This is the summary of the story as revealed by the trailer. This is the story that the Telugu audience have seen many times over the last few decades.
Paidipally who is often criticized for mixing a few hit films and churning out a story has done the same again. A lot of shot reminds people of movies like ‘Srimanthudu’ and ‘Attarintiki Daredi’ while the basic story is similar to ‘Gautham SSC’. The team of ‘Varisu’ seems to have taken an old story and made it on a big canvas.
A lot of notable actors make their presence felt while it was Vijay who completely dominated the trailer as expected. His fans are expected to enjoy his typical action but we need to see how the regular audience reacts to it. The trailer made it clear that Rashmika’s role is mere eye candy and offers nothing substantial. Thaman fails to make an impact with his music in this trailer. With a routine story as the base, we need to wait and see how ‘Vaarasudu’ manages to impress people. Will Vijay’s superstardom be enough for the movie to enter the safe zone?

‘Popcorn’ Trailer unveiled by King Nagarjuna
Sai Ronak and Avika Gor will be seen in exciting roles in an entertainer titled ‘Popcorn’,
The film’s trailer was today released at the hands of King Akkineni Nagarjuna. As promised, ‘Popcorn’ comes with a novel story and a distinct screenplay. Sai Ronak plays Pawan, a youngster who bumps into a stranger named Sameerana played by Avika Gor in a mall in Hyderabad. They get stuck inside a lift, leaving the girl struggling to escape from the situation, which only gets worse as the day passes. The inescapable situation turns out to be a blessing in disguise, as the duo escape an intense bomb blast that strikes the mall unhurt.
Pawan and Sameerana, who start out as strangers turned enemies, realize that they might just be made for each other. Like popcorn that we eat, the film’s multi-fold elements are going to be salty, tangy, cheezy, caramelly, and more.
The film presents the lead characters as unique and somewhat quirky. Avika Gor’s character believes that even the most handsome guy out there will struggle to impress her. On the other hand, Sai Ronak’s character delivers a tight slap, subjecting her to awe!
Are Samantha And Rashmika Getting Replaced By These Two?
Everyone wants to reach the top position in the field they are in. The cine world is not an exception to this. Almost every heroine aims for the top position and No 1 seat. But very few can manage to hold on to the top position.
Talking about Tollywood, Samantha Ruth Prabhu was called the no heroine in the town. She gave hits at regular intervals and acted with every top star. Continuous hits made her the number-one star. But she is not in the position anymore. Due to some reasons, she is not doing films in Telugu.

Bollywood actress Mrunal Thakur made an impressive debut in Tollywood with the critically acclaimed Sita Ramam. She scored good marks for her looks and acting skills. She was roped in for Natural Star Nani’s next film which is said to be a Pan-India film.
Mrunal Thakur might get a few projects if Nani 30 gets a big hit. With no star heroines in the town, she can make the best out of it and reach the top preposition. She can fit into any role and carry it on her shoulders.
Bollywood Bhai’s Special Role In SRK’s ‘Pathaan’!
Bollywood Bhaijaan Salman Khan is working on ‘Tiger 3’ right now but he is willing to play special cameos in other hero’s projects too. He did a special role in Megastar Chiranjeevi’s ‘Godfather’ recently which attracted a lot of Hindi viewers when the flick came out on the OTT platform. He did a small guest appearance in Shah Rukh Khan’s last film ‘Zero’. Previously, SRK did the same in Salman’s ‘Tubelight’.
They share a special bond because they worked together in iconic movies like ‘Karan Arjun’ and ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’. Despite a few differences cropping up a few years back, they resolved those issues and turned back to being good friends again. Sources say that Salman is once again playing a special role in Shah Rukh’s upcoming release ‘Pathaan’. This is SRK’s comeback film after a 4-year sabbatical.
There is a lot of buzz surrounding this project and the theatrical trailer is expected to be unveiled on 10th January. The movie is coming out worldwide on 25th January and the trailer is expected to show a glimpse of Salman Khan as well. As we all know, there is a lot of controversy surrounding ‘Pathaan’ and especially the ‘Besharam Rang’ song.
While people were awestruck by the unlimited glamour show of Deepika Padukone in this song, a few sections of people were hurt by the fact that Deepika wore a saffron-colored two-piece bikini. A lot of pro-Hindu associations demanded the team to remove those portions completely from the film and a state’s Home Minister gave a public warning as well. There are sounds of boycotting the movie as well and we need to wait and see how things turn out on the 25th of January.
With Bollywood having a nightmare in 2022, ‘Pathaan’ is expected to give a grand start to 2023 for the Hindi cinema. Produced by Aditya Chopra, ‘Pathaan’ is releasing on 25th January 2023. Is Another Hero Entering The ‘Loki’ Universe?
If there is one director in South India who made a special name for himself within a very short time, it is definitely Lokesh Kanagaraj. This Tamil director proved that he is unique with movies like ‘Khaidi’, ‘Master’ and ‘Vikram’. His different gangster dramas and action-packed narration brought him a lot of fans. After ‘Vikram’, people are eagerly waiting for his next movie with Thalapathy Vijay.
Lokesh created a separate universe where his lead characters meet each other at some point. He links one story to another in a very convincing manner and prime example of it is ‘Khaidi’ and ‘Vikram’. At the end of ‘Vikram’, Lokesh hinted at Karthi’s involvement in ‘Vikram 2’. Also, Suriya has been introduced as the powerful villain Rolex at the very end and fans cannot wait to see his face off with Vikram played by Kamal Hassan in the next part.
The latest we hear is that the young director has narrated a story to Jayam Ravi. The ‘PS – 1’ hero immensely liked it and they are likely to work together soon. After Thalapathy Vijay’s film gets wrapped up, there are high chances of Lokesh and Jayam Ravi teaming up. Fans are hoping that their film is linked to the ‘Loki’ cinematic universe somehow.
Lokesh Kanagaraj said that he wants to make regular films that are not connected to his cinematic universe. He said ‘Master’ was one such movie. While the characters of Vikram, Dilli, and Rolex are already connected, we need to see if the movie he is making with Vijay right now is connected to his cinematic universe or not. There are reports arriving that his movie with Jayam Ravi may be liked to Lokesh’s cinematic universe. Let us wait and see what the talented director’s plan is.
Megastar Not Happy With The Production House?
After a long time, Megastar Chiranjeevi activated the mass mode for ‘Waltair Veerayya’. This Mega mass entertainer is hitting the big screens on 13th January and the entire team is busily promoting the movie. Directed by Bobby Kolli, there is a huge hype on this movie which was given a ‘U/A’ certificate from the censor board. Four songs that came out till date got a very good response and ‘Boss Party’ turned out to be a chartbuster.
A grand pre-release event will be held on 8th January and there are huge arrangements being made in Vizag already. As we know, ‘Waltair Veerayya’ is going to lock horns with Nandamuri Balakrishna’s ‘Veera Simha Reddy’ which is arriving on the 12th. Both these movies are bankrolled by the same production banner. Mythri Movie Makers are making sure that both these movies are promoted aggressively and doing everything they can to make the fans happy.
Dil Raju’s ‘Varisu’ is releasing on 12th January and the star producer and distributor is making sure that his film gets the majority of theatres in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Starring Vijay and Rashmika in the lead roles, this movie is directed by Vamsi Paidipally and it was made on a grand budget. Since Dil Raju owns a lot of theatres in Nizam and Vizag regions, he is allotting all his theatres to ‘Varisu’.
The remaining theatres are getting shared by ‘Waltair Veerayya’ and ‘Veera Simha Reddy. Megastar is reportedly disappointed with the number of theatres his movie is going to get. Both Vijay and Balayya’s films are releasing on the 12th which means that they will get a good number of theatres. ‘Veerayya’ will be coming on 13th January and it is forced to share theatres with the two films which came out a day before. Chiru is reportedly feeling that this scenario will hugely affect the Day 1 collections.
While there is truth to this argument, the Sankranti season is expected to compensate for all three big releases. It is quite important to get a positive talk on the first day and the rest will follow. Let us wait and see how these films turn out.
