Kollywood actor Udhayanidhi Stalin had surprised everyone with his decision of bidding goodbye to films so that he can focus on politics alone. It is a shocking decision as his films are doing decent numbers at the box office collections. As he comes from a political family, he is expected to lead the party.
After he announced the decision, many people are drawing a comparison between Stalin and Pawan Kalyan. Citing the example of Stalin, they are asking why can’t Pawan Kalyan quit films to focus on films. Pawan Kalyan’s critics often say the same that he is a part time political leader.
What Stalin did is completely different from what Pawan Kalyan’s critics are expecting him to do. While Stalin is more of a politician and doing films just for his passion, it is the other way round for Pawan Kalyan.

Even TRS Leaders are Not Ready to Respect Governor Tamilisai?
The infamous row between Telangana Chief Minister KCR and Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan will go down as one of the much-talked-about standoffs in the state with the two dignitaries accusing the other openly. Earlier, we used to hear more about the issue. But now there is no news on the same.
With no statement from both sides, everyone thought that the issue is dissolved. But Telangana Governor’s recent interview showed that the scars of the issue are intact to date.
During her interview, the governor said that it was KCR who did not respect her back when she is seeing the Chief Minister as her brother. Besides this, she reportedly made a few political statements which did not go well with the TRS leaders.
Without showing respect towards the Governor, the TRS leaders are daring her to run the polls in Silcilla against Telangana IT Minister KTR.
Drawing a comparison between Tamilisai Soundararajan and KTR, the TRS leaders are saying that KTR’s father is an ex MP, as Tamilisai and hence she should contest against the IT Minister.
Earlier, CM KCR and KTR said that Tamilisai Soundararajan is behaving like a BJP leader more than a Governor and even alleged that Raj Bhavan has turned into a BJP party office.
Now the TRS leaders are also not showing away from targeting the Governor. This raises a question of whether the party leaders are also not ready to respect the Governor.
Suriya cameo confirmed in Kamal Haasan’s next
For some time now, a piece of news is widely circulating on the internet that Kollywood star Suriya will be playing a cameo role in Universal actor Kamal Haasan’s upcoming action entertainer ‘Vikram’.
Responding to these speculations, director Lokesh Kanagaraj has confirmed that Suriya will be seen in a powerful cameo role in the movie.
Speaking at the audio launch of Vikram, the filmmaker revealed that the Singam actor is also a part of the biggie, which already has acclaimed actors like Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil. However, Kanagaraj hasn’t revealed more details about Suriya’s character.
Vikram marks the maiden collaboration of Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil. The high-octane action-thriller also stars Kalidas Jayaram, Antony Varghese and Arjun Das, among others. The movie is all set for a grand theatrical release on June 3, 2022.
Telangana Minister Highlights how AP Missed Golden Opportunity?
The Telangana leaders made it a habit of drawing a comparison between Andhra Pradesh and their state to show how the state is in a better place compared to others in terms of providing facilities to the people. While it was started by Telangana IT Minister KTR, many leaders are doing the same.
Days after Telangana Minister alleged that Andhra Pradesh government is installing the agricultural meters as the Centre assured the state of borrowings, another Minister joined the row.
Telangana finance Minister Harish Rao, who is known for his massy speeches shed light on the differences between the land prices in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. He said that, people in Telangana are buying lands in Andhra Pradesh which used to be the opposite earlier.
If we look at the issue from a positive approach, the Minister highlighted how Andhra Pradesh missed on a big opportunity. When Amaravati was proposed as the capital region, the land rates went up skyrocketing and people from the divided Andhra Pradesh used to buy lands in Telangana.
The situation of Andhra Pradesh is not that good which is not a good sign. No one knows what the capital city is now. While the Andhra Pradesh High Court directed the government to develop Amaravati, the government is interested in having three capitals.
With the capital city issue, the land rates in Amaravati saw a massive decline and the proposed capital cities are yet to get a hike in the land rate. Simply, Andhra Pradesh is not in a position to see a boom in land rates.
Bigg Boss Telugu OTT: Shiva asks tarot reader about his wedding; the latter questions if he and Bindu Madhavi are friends
Bigg Boss Non-Stop will invite a tarot reader in tonight’s (May 16) episode.
The tarot reader, who was also seen in the previous season of BB Telugu on TV, visits the house and shares her predictions on Bindu’s future, fate of her friendship with Shiva after stepping out of the house, Shiva’s wedding and a lot of other topics related to the rest of the contestants in the house.
The teaser video shows Shiva asking the tarot reader if he is going to have a love marriage and the latter quickly asks if he and Bindu are friends. She also asks Shiva if they are friends even outside the BB house. Shiva looks at Bindu for an assurance. The tarot reader further tells Bindu that she has all the qualities of a good leader. She says Ariyana will have peace and harmony in life, and Anil will have financial abundance. The tarot reader hails Akhil’s composure and inner strength and also talks about Mithraw’s ‘gentleman’.

In the recent episode of the reality show, Nataraj got eliminated and the rest of the seven contestants, including Bindu Madhavi, Akhil Sarthak, Ariyana Glory, Shiva, Anil Rathod, Mithraw Sharma and Baba Bhaskar entered the finale week.
While Baba Bhaskar is a wild card contestant, the rest of the housemates have entered the BB house on the premiere day. While Baba Bhaskar, Ariyana Glory and Akhil Sarthak were a part of Bigg Boss Telugu season 4 earlier, Bindu Madhavi, Shiva, Anil Rathod and Mithraw Sharma made their Bigg Boss debut with this OTT season. Bindu took part in BB Tamil as well.
The grand finale of BB Non-Stop is around the corner. It remains to be seen who’ll win the OTT edition.
Kamal Haasan to team up with Pa Ranjith
Kollywood star Kamal Haasan is all set to treat the audience with his upcoming film Vikram, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The movie recently had its trailer and audio launch event and it was a star-studded affair.
Interestingly, acclaimed director Pa Ranjith, who was one of the chief guests of the event, announced that he is going to collaborate with Kamal Haasan for a Madurai-based rural film. He also added that Kamal Haasan will be seen in a new avatar in the film.
However, there is no information on when the movie will go on the floors. An announcement is expected to be made regarding the same.
Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan was last seen in Vishwaroopam 2, which received mixed reviews from the critics and audience alike. Four years later, the actor is coming up with Vikram, which will hit the theatres on June 3.
Poornodaya Banner relaunching with ‘First Day First Show’
Yesteryear filmmaker Edida Nageswara Rao made many masterpieces under production house Poornodaya Movie Creations such as Siri Siri Muvva, Sagara Sangamam, Sankarabharanam, Seethakoka Chiluka, Swayamkrushi, Swarna Kamalam etc. Apadbandhavudu with Megastar Chiranjeevi was the last movie from the banner.
Now, the banner is getting its relaunch with a coming-of-age hilarious entertainer titled First Day First Show (FDFS). Edida Nageswara Rao’s granddaughter Srija Edida will produce, while Sriram Edida presents the movie under Srija Entertainments and Mitra Vinda Movies banners.
Jathi Ratnalu fame director Anudeep KV has provided story along with providing the screenplay with Vamsidhar Goud and Kalyan.
Vamsidhar Goud and Lakshmi Narayana P wield megaphone for the movie. FDFS is a fun ride about how a happy go lucky college student acquires First day first show tickets for his favourite hero’s movie.
Srikanth Reddy and Sanchita Bashu are the lead pair of the movie. Melody songs specialist Radhan scores soundtracks, while Prasanth Ankireddy is the cinematographer. Madhav is the editor.
