Buchi Babu To Take 20 Crores For Ram Charan’s Flick?
As we all know, talented director Buchi Babu Sana has recently announced a project with Mega Powerstar Ram Charan. This movie is all set to begin next year when the ‘RRR’ hero wraps up his work on Shankar’s project. There are a lot of rumors regarding this movie’s story, cast and other things.
Apparently, Charan okayed this project in single sitting and star filmmaker Sukumar will supervise the script apart from co-producing it under his ‘Sukumar Wriitngs’ banner. The latest we hear is that Buchi Babu is going to take a whopping 20 crores for this film. This has shocked everyone because Buchi Babu directed only one film till date.
As this is a pan-Indian project, the remuneration can be big but such huge money has left everyone awestruck. There are reports that Buchi Babu was paid a hefty sum in advance in order to lock the project. People are wondering about how much Charan is going to charge since the young director is costing 20 crores. We need to wait till we get more news from trusted sources.
Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings will jointly bankroll this project along with Vriddhi Cinemas. With Sukumar’s backing, Buchi Babu is expected to make another compelling and emotional film. While the heroine and other cast members are yet to be finalized, it is to be seen whether Buchi Babu breaks the second film syndrome of many directors or not. Talk in tinsel town suggests that Ram Charan will be seen as an athlete in the movie and it will have a sports backdrop.
Controversial Comments On Police Comes From Mohan Babu!
Veteran actor-producer Mohan Babu is known for his outspoken nature. He speaks anything that comes to his mind. Though his no-filter talk landed him in a few controversies, the flag bearer of the Manchu family did not change nature. Yet again, Manchu Mohan Babu made some controversial remarks.
Mohan Babu surprised everyone by talking about the Police System. He said that IPS, IAS, and other officials are coming under pressure and working in favour of the government. He supported his claims by saying that what he said is true and he means it. “It’s true, and I really mean it,” Mohan Babu said.
A senior film personality who is in a responsible position making such comments caught everyone’s attention. Many wonder what made Mohan Babu pass such controversial comments.
Having said that Mohan Babu maintained he respects the Police and has a special respect for the constables and we go to the cops first whenever we have any issues. I always have respect for the police, mainly the constables.
What Mohan Babu said is partially true as we have seen a few officials facing contempt of court cases for the decisions the government has taken. Following the instructions given by the higher officials and the government cost big time for a few as they faced a few cases.
Compared to other states, the officials landed in many troubles in Andhra Pradesh. Even IAS officers and DGP faced the wrath of the courts a few times. In one instance the Andhra Pradesh High Court commented that DGP can leave his position if he cannot exercise his duties properly.

’18 Pages’ Will Surprise You: Nikhil
The pre-release event of Nikhil Siddharth and Anupama Parameswaran’s romantic love story ’18 Pages’ was held on Monday night. Allu Arjun arrived as the chief guest and the entire cast and crew of the movie were present at the event. The movie is releasing on 23rd December with decent hype and the trailer increased the buzz immensely.
Speaking at the event, hero Nikhil thanked Rajamouli and Sukumar for taking Telugu films to the pan-Indian level. He said that ’18 Pages’ will surprise everyone. Producer Bunny Vas stated that he will be not be there today if not for Allu Arjun and Sukumar.
Veteran producer Allu Aravind that Sukumar wrote a wonderful story called ’18 Pages’ and thanked the star director for giving that story to Bunny Vas and making the film under their ‘Geetha Arts’ banner. Speaking at the event Sukumar said, “I wanted to become a producer during the time of ‘Jagadam’. I have one lakh rupees advance to Nikhil while I was making ‘Arya 2’. After seeing ‘Happy Days’, I predicted his success and gave him the advance. The entire credit of ’18 Pages’ should got to Surya Pratap. Coming to ‘Pushpa 2’, we have shot for five days till now.”
Allu Arjun said, “Previously, South cinema only had reach till South India. I thank Rajamouli sir for taking South movies to North India as well. Movies like ‘Pushpa’, ‘KGF’, ‘Kantara’ and ‘Karthikeya 2′ doing well across the nation gives me a lot of happiness. It is a proud feeling to see our films being watched by the entire nation.”
He added, “If not for Sukumar, my journey would not have been like this. This is why I have a lot of admiration, respect and love for him. My dad (Allu Aravind) has his own OTT platform. When the release of ’18 Pages’ is getting delayed, many advised him to release directly on small screens but he released the movie in theatres at last. I thank him for that. Gopi Sundar gave a wonderful music for this film and I thank Surya Pratap for making such a good film.”
Speaking about Nikhil, he said, ‘I have been observing Nikhil’s graph since ‘Happy Days’. He is selecting very good stories. When I asked him about it, he said that he reads a lot of books. I personally feel that an actor needs to read a lot of books and Nikhil has that habit. I am confident that the effort put in by the ’18 Pages’ team will definitely touch you”.
Allu Arjun Hypes Up The Audience For ‘Pushpa 2’!
Icon Staar Allu Arjun attended the pre-release event of ’18 Pages’ starring Nikhil Siddharth and Anupama Parameswaran in the lead. The star hero arrived at the event in a stylish printed shirt and a blazer. His long hair and thick beard he grew for ‘Pushpa’ is pretty much evident and the focus of the audience was once again on the star hero’s upcoming film ‘Pushpa: The Rule’.
People expected either Allu Arjun or Sukumar to given an update about this pan-Indian project but they just hyped up the film therefore not revealing anything in front of the media and public. Bunny said, “I am not saying this with arrogance, but with so much love… Pushpa 2 assal Thaggede Le.” All Sukumar said was, “Bunny is taking a lot of care in Pushpa 2, even for a single expression, he is working minutely.”
They fans were excited to know this, they are waiting for a update regarding the movie and wanted to know why the glimpse was not released with ‘Avatar 2’ on the big screens. But the ‘Pushpa’ duo did not want to reveal anything.
Coming to ’18 Pages’, Nikhil Siddhartha is looking to continue the hit run at the box office with this film. Produced under ‘GA2 Pictures’ by Bunny Vas, ’18 Pages’ has Sukumar’s banner attached to it since he wrote the script. Palnati Surya Pratap who made ‘Kumari 21F’ earlier is handling the megaphone. Navin Nooli is the editor while A Vasanth is the cinematographer. Gopi Sundar gave music to this film. The latest we hear is that the runtime has been locked for 137 minutes which is quite crisp.
