I was called ‘black cat’ and ‘dusky’. I mean, what does ‘dusky’ even mean in a country where we are literally all brown?”
Talking about the male chauvinism, she told, “I thought it was absolutely OK to sit for hours and hours on set, while my male co-actor just took his own time, and decided whenever he wanted to show up on set is when we would shoot.” She is quite satisfied with how her Hollywood career is going. Is Chiru Giving A Chance To Puri Jagannadh?

Dashing and dynamic director Puri Jagannadh’s form has been very bad for the past couple of years. Though many thought that he was back with ‘Ismart Shankar’, it only ended up giving a false hope to his fans as his recent outing ‘Liger’ turned out to be a disaster.
He made ‘Liger’ on a huge budget for more than two years but the film is quite lazy in its writing and many thought that the writer-director took the audience for granted. Even his hardcore fans were not able to digest this poor output and he is now finding himself in deeper troubles due to this film. But the recent reports suggest that the ‘Pokiri’ director has a golden chance to direct Megastar Chiranjeevi.
As we know, his project ‘Jana Gana Mana’ with Vijay Deverakonda was shelved and Puri was seen playing a special cameo in Chiru’s last outing ‘Godfather’. Talk in tinsel town suggests that Chiru has given a green signal to Puri’s storyline and wants Puri to approach with a complete script. Knowing Puri, it is going to be an out-and-out mass entertainer with his typical characterization. Apparently, Megastar gave full freedom to Puri regarding the script work and he will give his judgement only after the entire script is done.
If this news turns out to be true, Chiru’s gesture is going to be very special. As we know, no big hero gives a chance to a flop director and Puri has around 10 films in the last five years. It looks like Puri’s cameo in ‘Godfather’ and his help in promotions got him into the good books of Chiranjeevi. It is Puri who gave Charan the best debut with ‘Chirutha’. This film showcased all the positive sides of Charan perfectly. He gave Allu Arjun his first mass hit with ‘Deshamuduru’ and made ‘Iddarammayilatho’. Varun Tej’s only mass movie was directed by Puri Jagannadh while Pawan and Puri gave hit movies like ‘Badri’ and ‘Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu’ together.
Puri narrated a script titled ‘Auto Jaani’ to Megastar a few years back. Chiru asked Puri to come with the complete script but it failed to impress him. We need to wait and see if Puri fulfills his long-lasting dream at least now or not.
This Is What The Big 4 Said About The Complaints!

A lot has been discussed about the theatre business and how dubbing films should not be given the first priority over straight Telugu movies. The Producers Council talked about it in front of the media and people expected bigwigs like Suresh Babu, Allu Aravind and Dil Raju to take part in these press meets. Instead, they revealed their opinions in talk shows which were quite surprising.
During the interaction with Radha Krishna on ‘Open Heart With RK’, Dil Raju opened up about the distribution process in Tollywood and how many theatres are under his control. He even questioned Producers Council’s views and backed himself of releasing his dubbing film ‘Varasudu’ on a grand scale alongside Megastar and Balayya’s films.
Allu Aravind responded about being ‘The Big 4’ in the industry. He said, “When theatres are dying, and the business is going down, it’s we who took theatres and modified them to suit the needs of audience and started exhibiting more films. Literally, we have revived the theatres, so there is nothing like we own (or lease) many theatres when we did help the business thrive. So accusing that we have theatres is wrong.”
Suresh Babu told, “Back in the day, my production ventures never used to get theatres in Nizam. That’s when I started acquiring theatres. Even now, big films will get theatres based on their relationship with distributors and exhibitors. Some films will suffer. And some people will blame us, but I will not be worried about it. Depending on the relation between producers, their distributors and exhibitors, each film will get theatres. Surprisingly, we are not distributors of any of those movies.”
Both of these producers talked on Nandamuri Balakrishna’s ‘Unstoppable’ show.
YCP Minister Forgot her Career Started With TDP?

The ruling YSRCP held a massive event today in Vijayawada to make people understand the good work it is doing for the BC castes. The event was titled “Jaiho BC” meeting. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy spoke highly about the welfare scheme the party has been implementing for the beneficiaries.
After Jagan Mohan Reddy’s intense speech Andhra Pradesh Cabinet Minister Vidadala Rajini addressed the gathering and made some interesting comments. She said that the Chief Minister is empowering the BCs with the flagship schemes.
The Minister of Health, Family Welfare, and Medical Education breathed fire on former Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu. Alleging that he did not do anything for the BCs, she said TDP is fearing the meeting. Vidadala Rajini said that Babu backstabbed the BC castes.
TDP followers are hitting back at Vidadala Rajini saying that she started her career with the grand old party and asked if she had forgotten this. They are sharing the old vidoes in which Rajini spoke highly about Chandrababu Naidu in his presence.
After the state was formed and Telugu Desam Party came to power in the divided Andhra Pradesh, Rajini attended an event held by the party. Recalling her journey, Vidadala Rajini said she became a software engineer due to Chandrababu Naidu as he gave a big boom to software. She even called herself a sapling planted by Chandrababu Naidu. Now TDP followers are asking if the Minister has forgotten this.
Maha MP Seeks Amit Shah’s Intervention In Sensitive Matter!

The Winter session of Parliament was started on a heated note after a long pending issue reached the house. A Lok Sabha member raised the issue in the house and asked the union government to step in. The legislator said that the issue is sensitive and crucial.
It is known that Maharashtra and Karnataka have some border issues and both states often fight over a few things. The issues go back a few decades. When the states were divided a few issues were not addressed by the then-union government and this proved costly.
The issues between Maharashtra and Karnataka popped up again after a few vehicles with Maharashtra registration were reportedly attacked at the Karnataka border. The political heat was raised by this.
As the Parliament sessions started today, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) MP Supriya Sule raised the issue in the house. Saying that the new issue has been going on for the past few days, the Lok Sabha member alleged that the Karnataka Chief Minister is adding fuel to the issue.
Saying that both Maharashtra and Karnataka are ruled by the BJP, the Lok Sabha member asked Union Home Minister Amit Shah to intervene to sort out the issues. She alleged that people from Maharashtra are being beaten up at the border.
“For the past 10 days, a new issue has cropped up in Maharashtra. The CM of our neighbouring state, Karnataka has been speaking nonsense. Yesterday, people of Maharashtra wanted to go to the Karnataka border but they were thrashed,” the Lok Sabha member said.
