Adivi Sesh Reveals About Mahesh Babu’s Situation!

The untimely demise of superstar Krishna has left the whole Telugu film fraternity in tears. His family members went through a lot this year. Mahesh Babu’s brother Ramesh Babu passed away earlier this year and his mother Indira Devi left everyone in September. Legendary actor Krishna passed away this month which makes for three losses in a single year.
This is a lot of personal trauma and it is more than anyone could take. Currently, Mahesh is trying to recover from the loss and get back to work soon. He recently penned a heartfelt note to his late father on social media. As we know, Adivi Sesh is busily promoting his upcoming movie ‘HIT 2’ which is releasing on 2nd December. During one of his interviews, Sesh was asked if he spoke to Mahesh as the latter produced Sesh’s last super hit film ‘Major’.

Coming to ‘HIT 2’, Sailesh Kolanu who made the first part has directed the second part too. Meenakshi Chaudhary, Rao Ramesh, and others are part of the cast. Prashanti Tipirneni is the producer of this franchise. The arresting background score is composed by John Stewart Eduri. Natural Star Nani is presenting this movie under Wall Poster Cinema banner.
Love Today Movie Review
“Love Today,” a Tamil film, was a smash hit in Tamilnadu. Producer Dil Raju has released the film in Telugu after being impressed by its success.
Let us examine its advantages and disadvantages.
Story:
Pradeep (Pradeep Ranganathan) and Nikitha (Ivana), both IT employees, are deeply in love. Pradeep’s sister Divya (Raveena) recently got engaged to a dentist (Yogi Babu), and wedding plans are in the works. Pradeep agrees to meet with Nikitha’s father to ask for her hand after his sister’s wedding is over.
However, Nikitha’s father Venu Sastry (Sathyaraj) detects their love and invites Pradeep to their home. Sastry agrees to their marriage if they agree to his condition of exchanging mobile phones for one day. They agree to it half-heartedly and exchange their phones.
Will they check each other’s phones? What difficulties would they face as a result of this unusual condition?
Artistes’ Performances:
Pradeep Ranganathan not only wrote and directed the film, but also starred as the protagonist. He resembles the boy next door. His performance is relatable. His conversations, frustrations, and emotional outbursts are completely natural.
Ivana, the female lead, is attractive and has good acting skills. She does a good job in her role. Yogi Babu, who also plays an important role, adds dignity to the proceedings. He demonstrates the maturity required for the role.
Raveena as his wife-to-be is excellent. Radhika Sarath Kumar and Sathya Raj are fantastic.
Technical Excellence:
The cinematography, editing, and music of the film reflect its trendy setting. Editing is crazy and creative.
Yuvan Shankar Raja’s music is an additional asset, particularly his background score, which has elevated the proceedings. The Telugu dialogues are excellent.
Highlights:
The first half
Fun dialogues
Narration
Pradeep Ranganathan
Drawback:
Certain portions in second half
Predictable ending
Analysis
“Love Today,” as the title suggests, is about two modern-day lovers. The two lovers use their phones for everything from chatting to making Insta Reels. Mobile phones are more like a personal diary where all their secrets are kept for them. Naturally, the problems begin when they are forced to exchange their phones for a day. Tamil director Pradeep Ranganathan had a brilliant idea involving mobile phones and social media apps.
You might be wondering what problems this phone exchange would cause. It does. The heroine goes on a night ride with her ex without informing her current lover. The hero messages women on Instagram and speaks nicely to telemarketing women. These are just a few of the many secrets revealed by their phones.
The film is full of hilarious scenes that anyone can relate to today. First, the director reveals that the heroine is still in contact with her ex-boyfriend, and one of her friends proposed to her via mobile chatting. The director then sheds light on the hero’s dirty secrets in the second half. Both of these threads come together at one point. There are numerous plot twists and turns that both entertain and engage us.
The plot of the film is similar to that of most romantic dramas, but with a unique twist.
The use of memes, viral songs, and jokes is brilliant. One of the dialogues also includes a reference to the recent “Jaru Mithaya” song.
Another thread involves Yogi Babu and Raveena, which adds another dimension to the story.
On the downside, the second half of the film is not as amusing as the first. Revi’s character and his thread are not adequately explained. Other issues arise in the second half as well.
All of this, however, has no effect on the film’s flow and it never stops providing entertainment.
On the whole, “Love Today” depicts the lifestyle of today’s youth and their dating culture through a lot of fun-filled moments. The film makes a time pass watch and provides paisa vasool entertainment.
Bottom line: Trendy Love Story

Itlu Maredumilli Prajaneekam Movie Review
Allari Naresh, known for comedy films, moved away from comedy genre and turned to off-beat stories. He won good name with his previous film, Naandhi. In a similar fashion, he did “Itlu Maredumilli Prajaneekam”.
Let’s find out its merits and demerits.
Story:
Srinivas Sripada (Allari Naresh) teaches Telugu at a government school. He is assigned to an election job in a remote tribal village Maredumilli in Andhra Pradesh with another teacher (Vennela Kishore).
The villagers are impoverished because there is no hospital, no school, and no bridge to cross the ever-flowing river. They decide to boycott elections because they are fed up with the government’s inaction.
How does Srinivas Sripada persuade the villagers to vote and devise a strategy to get their problems addressed by the government?
Artistes’ Performances:
Allari Naresh immerses himself in his character. This is not a difficult role to play; the actor must be natural. Naresh excels at this.
Anandhi is just another village belle. She doesn’t have much substance aside from the opening sequences.
Praveen and Vennela Kishore provide some comic relief. Sampath makes his presence known as a collector. Shritej is fine.
Technical Excellence:
The entire film takes place in a tribal village. The cameraman captured the lush green forest visuals beautifully. The production design is appropriate.
Abburi Ravi’s dialogues about the government system, particularly the dialogue about Teacher’s Day, are worth noting. Music is ineffective.
Highlights:
Message of the story
Couple of sequences
Drawback:
No grip on narrative
Lack of excitement
Superficial scenes
Analysis
Even in areas where insurgency is at its peak, elections are held without any trouble. That is the beauty of Indian democracy and the electoral system. To conduct elections, the Election Commission of India and its officers travel to remote locations and hike hills. Such an incident occurs in the village in “Itlu Maredumilli Prajaneekam.”
The story begins when the collector of the district instructs his officers to get 100% of the vote this time. As a result, the protagonist travels to a tribal region, and the drama begins. The first sequences show the hero and his friend struggling to reach the village and convincing the villagers to vote. So, the majority of the first half of the film is dull.
The film becomes interesting when the hero is kidnapped and the villagers devise a plan to communicate with the government. This isn’t the true twist. There’s another. This middle section of the nearly two and a half hour film is engaging because of its twist.
However, the film returns to its usual mode. Following that, every scene suffers from a lack of emotion and engagement. It further gets bore due to its predictable nature.
The story’s biggest flaw is that it doesn’t know who the villain is. At one point, the film attempts to portray the district collector as the antagonist. But would a collector who won the President’s Medal and is an idealistic person to hold 100% voting be so indifferent to tribal people? This lack of clarity in the director’s writing renders the proceedings uninvolved.
Despite its positive message, “Itlu Maredumilli Prajaneekam” is not an engaging watch. Political naivety plagues the film. Such stories require a more gripping screenplay as well as a high emotional quotient. This is lacking in them.
Bottom line: Slow Drive
