Thanks to Samantha’s professionalism despite suffering a health issue, ‘Yashoda’ got decent collections. Though it got average reviews and mixed responses from the critics and audience, the movie made good money and is expected to reach the breakeven mark in the next week.
On the other hand, we don’t know if Samantha is going to get completely fit. While some say that she will be ready by December or January, there is a lot of uncertainty over this. The first film in this list is ‘Khushu’ which has Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha playing the lead roles. With just 30 days of shooting left, news broke out that Sam got admitted in the hospital. The film’s unit is waiting patiently and Vijay is also not working on any other movie and has invested all his energy on this romantic entertainer. Around 40 crores of business has been done for this film and it is expected to release in the first half of 2023.
Samantha completed her entire shooting for ‘Shaakunthalam’ long back but having the lead actress during promotions is very necessary. This is the reason Gunasekhar is not letting out any promotional content of this mythological drama. His team claims that the movie is expected to get more than 60 crores all across the regions. Only a few posters came out till date and Samantha looked extremely glamorous in them. Samantha may think about new projects after she recovers completely but her current commitments are forcing her to take a decision right now.
