Handsome hero Siddharth who used to be a big deal in Tollywood back in the early 2000s has gradually faded away. Movies like ‘Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana’, ‘Bommarillu’, ‘Aata’, ‘Oy’ and others were huge hits at that time. He tried to give a grand comeback with ‘Maha Samudram’ but it failed very badly leaving Siddharth no choice but to return to Kollywood.

For the past few months, there are rumours about the handsome hero being in a relationship with lovely beauty Aditi Rao Hydari. They both worked together in ‘Maha Samudram’ and they connected with each other instantly as per sources. Though they did not make things official, the speculations were all over the media. On the occasion of Aditi’s birthday, he posted a click where we can see them together.

He wrote, “Happy Happy Happy Birthday Princess of Heart @aditiraohydari. I pray all your dreams. The big ones, the small ones. And the ones yet unseen. Always come true, always for you. Siddharth is known for his relationships in his personal life. There were rumours about him having an affair with Saif Ali Khan’s sister Soha Ali Khan back during the ‘Rang De Basanti’ days. He was in a serious relationship with Samantha Ruth Prabhu before breaking things off with her. There were rumours about having a fling with Shruti Hassan but it was denied publicly. Recently, we have seen comedy king Brahmanandam dubbing for his role in Krishna Vamsi’s upcoming film ‘Rangamarthanda’. Looks like it is Ramya Krishna’s turn now and pictures of her in the dubbing studio came out on social media. Dressed in a very casual manner, Ramya Krishnan is seen giving her thumbs up. With her reading glasses on, she looks focused and her role is quite significant in her husband’s movie.

Sources say that she finished her dubbing and other actors will be finished with their work soon. The movie is expected to hit the screens by the end of 2022. Everyone are hoping Krishna Vamsi to make a comeback and come up with quality content as always. Let us wait and see what happens with this film with such big names onboard.

Produced by Houseful Movies and Rajashyamala Entertainments banners, Krishna Vamsi confirmed it as a story about all mothers and fathers. Legendary music composer Ilayaraja is working on this project while the late Sirivennela Seetharamasastry had penned the lyrics. Versatile actor Prakash Raj is playing the lead role. Megastar Chiranjeevi is playing a small role too. This movie is reportedly a remake of the Marathi film ‘Nata Samrat’ which has Nana Patekar playing the lead role.

Krishna Vamsi who was once a top director in Tollywood has been struggling to make successful films over the past decade. He took a long gap after ‘Nakshatram’ and he is coming back now.

Thanks to the humongous success of ‘KGF’ franchise, Rocking Star Yash became a nationwide sensation. His macho looks and dashing attitude in the film became a favorite for many and it helped him create records at the box office. The second chapter of ‘KGF’ was the biggest hit of the post-pandemic era and even overshadowed ‘RRR’ during the time of its release. Everyone is curious to find out about his next project.

While there is still no clarity over his upcoming movie, there are a lot of rumors going around his possible Bollywood entry. The pan-Indian hero is reportedly approached by the makers of ‘Brahmastra 2’ to play a special role. The first part which arrived in September got a mixed response from the audience. While the visual bonanza impressed them, the narration and unnecessary stress on the love story irked a lot of people. Despite earning hundreds of crores, the movie still ended up as a loss venture.

But the makers are hoping to turn things around with ‘Brahmastra Part Two’. The project’s announcement has been made at the end of the first part and director Ayan Mukherji has already started preparing the script. The makers devised a plan to attract the South Indian audience by bringing in a big hero who is well-known across the country. Yash looks like a perfect fit and his role is going to be significant in the story as per reports. While there is no news from the official sources, this gossip of Yash acting in ‘Brahmastra 2’ is garnering a lot of buzz.

Ranbir and Alia Bhatt are the hero and heroine in this project while Big B Amitabh Bachchan, King Nagarjuna, Mouni Roy and others played key roles in the first part. Bollywood Baadshah Shah Rukh Khan gave a special appearance in this high-budget supernatural drama. Produced jointly by Star Studios, Dharma Productions, Prime Focus and Star Light Pictures, this grand project is an adventure film with a lot of supernatural elements inspired by the Hindu gods.

Buyers Planning To Boycott Puri’s Films?

The rift between the Puri Jagannadh and buyers of ‘Liger’ is getting bigger with each passing day. The distributors and exhibitors deciding to express their displeasure over Puri Jagannadh not giving back the agreed money publicly and financiers also joining them has gotten a lot of attention. Knowing this, Puri gave them a strong warning through phone and that audio clip getting leaked has become the talk of the industry right now.

In the audio clip, Puri said, “Are you blackmailing me? There is no need for me to return the money. But I am still doing it. Because they (distributors) too had faced losses. Already had discussions with the buyers and we had agreed upon an amount. I have told them I will make the payment within a month. Even after this, some overaction to the matter makes me second guess my decision on the refund. Why I’m returning the money? It is for the honour. But if you try to destroy my honour, I won’t give you a single penny. Here we are all gambling. Some films work, some don’t work. From Pokiri to Ismart Shankar, there is a lot of money which buyers owe me. Will the buyers association collect that amount for me? You say you will protest. Do it. Will make a list of who participate in the protest and only give payment to those who didn’t take part in it.”

On top of that, Puri even complained to the police that he has a threat to his life from financier Sobhan Babu and distributor Warangal Seen. The other side claim that Puri has crossed a line this time. They say that ‘Liger’ did not even get one-third of their investment and Puri who promised to compensate for some losses has not done that at all. They state that going to the police and reacting in an aggressive manner by Puri Jagannadh are his attempts to evade the money he needs to pay for them.

Sobhan said that he has a lot of bounced cheques given by producers and they can file a case if they want. The financiers’ group is quite angry with Puri and they reportedly decided not to fund any of his movies from now on. Sources say that even the buyers are willing to boycott the ‘Pokiri’ director’s movies.

No OTT Release For ‘Kantara’ Anytime Soon!

Kannada film ‘Kantara’ is showing no signs of stopping anytime soon. This highly praised film is working wonders at the box office. The collections of this movie are on par with ‘KGF’ in Karnataka and it already crossed 25 crores in Telugu states which is a phenomenal achievement considering the fact that it is a film with no familiar faces to Telugu people. It is doing quite well in the Hindi market too. It crossed the 200 crore mark already and everyone in the film’s unit is very ecstatic about the result.

There were some reports suggesting that ‘Kantara’ will be coming out on an OTT platform on 4th November. It spread like wildfire and people who haven’t watched the film yet were quite excited to hear this news. But the producers made it clear that ‘Kantara’ will not be streamed online from 4th November and they will be announcing the OTT release date when the time is right.

Grapevine suggests that the team of ‘Kantara’ made a deal with an OTT platform for a good amount of money. As a part of the deal, the movie is supposed to be made available online in 30 days but the makers did not expect the movie to be such a big hit across the nation. Due to this, they reportedly called off the OTT deal and they are in process of re-negotiating the deal. We need to wait and see when the film releases online.
