రష్యా వంతెనను పేల్చేసిన ఉక్రెయిన్.. ఇక యుద్దం బీభత్సమే
రష్యా-ఉక్రెయిన్ యుద్ధం మరింత పెరిగేలా కనిపిస్తోంది. ఓవైపు ఆక్రమిత ప్రాంతాల్లో రెఫరెండం చేపడుతూ.. అవసరమైతే వ్యూహాత్మక అణ్వాయుధాలు వాడుతామంటూ రష్యా అధ్యక్షుడు పుతిన్ హెచ్చరికలు జారీ చేస్తుండగా.. ఉక్రెయిన్ మాత్రం ఏమాత్రం వెనక్కి తగ్గేది లేదంటోంది. పశ్చిమ దేశాలు ఇస్తున్న ఆయుధాల అండతో ఉక్రెయిన్ రష్యాను చికాకుపెడుతోంది. ఉదాహరణకు జాపోరిజ్జియా ప్రాంతాన్ని తమలో కలిపేసుకున్నట్లు రష్యా ప్రకటించినా.. ప్రధాన నగరం జాపోరిజ్జియా మాత్రం ఉక్రెయిన్ ఆధీనంలోనే ఉంది.
ఇటీవల కీలకమైన లీమన్ నగరాన్ని ఉక్రెయిన్ తిరిగి స్వాధీనం చేసుకుంది. ఇక శనివారం తెల్లవారుజామున ఉక్రెయిన్ నుంచి రష్యా 2014లో ఆక్రమించిన క్రిమియా ప్రాంతంలోని ఓ కీలక వంతెన భారీ పేలుడులో తీవ్రంగా ధ్వంసమైంది. ఈ పని ఉక్రెయిన్ దళాలు చేసినదే అని అనుమానాలు వ్యక్తం అవుతున్నాయి.
అత్యంత కీలక వంతెన అది..
క్రిమియా.. 2014లో ఉక్రెయిన్ నుంచి రష్యా ఆక్రమించిన ప్రాంతం. ఈ క్రిమియాను రష్యాతో అనుసంధానం చేస్తుంది కెర్చ్ అనే రైలు-రోడ్డు వంతెన. దీనిపై శనివారం భారీ పేలుడు జరిగింది. ఓ ట్రక్కు అకస్మాత్తుగా పేలిపోవడంతో వంతెన చెల్లాచెదురైంది. దీంతో క్రిమియాకు వెళ్తోన్న ఏడు ఆయిల్ ట్యాంకర్లకు మంటలు అంటుకున్నాయి. పెద్దఎత్తున అగ్నిప్రమాదం జరిగి భారీగా మంటలు ఎగసిపడుతున్నాయి. వాటి తీవ్రతకు వంతెనపై కొంత భాగం కూలి సముద్రంలో పడిపోయింది. దీనికి సంబంధించిన ఫొటోలు వీడియోలు సోషల్ మీడియాలో వైరల్ అవుతున్నాయి. ఇది ఎలా జరిగిందన్నదానిపై ఇంతవరకు స్పష్టత రాలేదు.
ఎక్కుడుందీ వంతెన..?
ఉక్రెయిన్ -క్రిమియా-రష్యా మధ్యలోని అజోవ్ సముద్రాన్ని నల్ల సముద్రాన్ని కలిపేదే కెర్చ్ జలసంధి. ఉక్రెయిన్ అంతర్జాతీయ వాణిజ్యాన్ని నల్ల సముద్రం ద్వారానే సాగిస్తుంటుంది. అజోవ్ తీరం నుంచి నల్లసముద్రం మీదుగా ఉక్రెయిన్ వాణిజ్యం సాగాలంటే కెర్చ్ జలసంధిని దాటాలి. అయితే ఇంతలా అంతర్జాతీయ వాణిజ్యానికి కీలకమైన నల్ల సముద్రంపై రష్యా కన్నేసింది. 2014లో క్రిమియా ద్వీపాన్ని ఆక్రమించింది. క్రిమియాతో అనుసంధానం అయ్యేలా 2018లో 3 బిలియన్ డాలర్లు వెచ్చించి రోడ్డు రైలు వంతెనను కట్టింది. ఇక్కడ విశేషం ఏమంటే.. ఈ వంతెన ప్రారంభ సమయంలో పుతిన్ స్వయంగా ట్రక్కు నడిపారు. ఇక ఈ యుద్ధంలో రష్యా ఈ మార్గం ద్వారానే ఆయుధాలు బలగాలను చేరవేస్తోంది.

రష్యా ఆయుధాలు ఇతర అవసరమైన వస్తువుల సరఫరాకు వినియోగించుకుంటుండడంతో కెర్చ్ వంతెనపై తాము గురిపెట్టినట్లు ఉక్రెయిన్ కమాండర్ ఒకరు ఇటీవల వ్యాఖ్యానించారు. రష్యాను అడ్డుకోవడానికి చేయాల్సినవన్నీ చేస్తామని హెచ్చరించారు. రష్యా సేనలను అడ్డుకునే క్రమంలో ఈ వంతెనపై ఉక్రెయిన్ ఎప్పటినుంచో దృష్టిపెట్టింది.
అయితే రష్యా దీన్ని కాపాడుకుంటూ వస్తోంది. ఒకవేళ ఉక్రెయిన్ దాడిచేస్తే ప్రతిచర్య అత్యంత తీవ్రంగా ఉంటుందని రష్యా తీవ్రంగా హెచ్చరించింది కూడా. తాజా పేలుడుతో ఉక్రెయిన్-రష్యా మధ్య ఉద్రిక్తతలు మరింత తీవ్రంగా మారే ప్రమాదముంది.

కాకతీయ పట్టపురాణి రుద్రమదేవి వీరోచిత కథ ఆధారంగా ఛారిత్రక నేపథ్యంలో ‘రుద్రమదేవి’ చిత్రాన్ని అత్యంత భారీ స్థాయిలో తెరకెక్కించి ప్రశంసల్ని దక్కించుకున్నారు. అనుష్క టైటిల్ పాత్రలో నటించిన ఈ మూవీలోని ఇతర కీలక పాత్రల్లో అల్లు అర్జున్ రానా నటించారు.
సంచలన విజయాన్ని సొంతం చేసుకున్న ఈ మూవీ తరువాత కొంత విరామం తీసుకున్న గుణశేఖర్ ప్రస్తుతం సమంత కీలక పాత్రలో ‘శాకుంతలం’ సినిమాని తెరకెక్కించారు.

AP yet to forgive KCR for his anti-Andhra tirade
One thing that is bothering TRS/BRS chief KCR these days is about the kind of response that his proposed national party will get in neighbouring Andhra Pradesh. Though he has done some ground work for states like Maharashtra, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, he is yet to begin the work for Andhra Pradesh. He is said to be unable to make any guesses about the mood and the response in Andhra Pradesh.
One thing is quite clear. The people of Andhra Pradesh have not forgotten the invectives heaped on them by TRS in general and KCR in particular The people of AP still remember how KCR drove a wedge between the two regions with his parochial agitations. Incidents like stopping the buses coming from Andhra region and perpetrating attacks on the assets of the Andhraites are not easily forgotten.
There have also been incidents of ambulances carrying critically ill patients being stopped at the border for hours. The people are recalling these incidents. During the Telangana agitation the people of Andhra region were dubbed as colonisers and usurpers. They were called names and this tirade was not confined to some low-level party functionaries, but even extended to KCR himself, the people recall.
Even the leaders of both YSRCP, TDP and BJP leaders seem to be unforgiving. The BJP has even gone to the extent of demanding an apology from the KCR for demeaning the people of Andhra Pradesh. Many leaders are saying that given his past record, it is difficult to trust KCR. On the whole, there appears to be quite a lukewarm response to KCR’s BRS.
PK now has just one client…. know who he is?
It appears Bihar CM Nitish Kumar is in no mood to forgive his former pal-turned-foe and poll strategist Prashant Kishore. He said that PK was working as a member of the BJP. He said that PK’s claims that he had asked him to lead the JDU were false. He said that there was no question of his offering the top post of the party to PK.
PK, who was the cynosure of all eyes after his stunning victories in West Bengal and Tamil Nadu, has now slipped down. He has fallen out of favour of the Congress Party and even the Aam Aadmi Party. Telangana CM KCR has even cut off his relations with PK. Now, Nitish Kumar, who had in the past made him the JDU vice-president, too appears to have cut off from the poll-strategist.
The other day, PK had claimed that Nitish Kumar had offered to step down so that PK could lead the party. He said that even if Nitish leaves his CM’s chair, I am not going to work for the JDU. Reacting to this, Nitish said that what PK was saying was false. He said that PK may speak whatever he wants. He further revealed that PK had advised him to merge the JDU with the Congress Party, which he has refused to accept.
Now that leaves PK with only one major client. His only client is YS Jagan Mohan Reddy of the YSRCP. As of now, PK is busy with his 3500-km-long Jan Suraj yatra in the state of Bihar. However, the yatra is unable to create any buzz in Bihar. The response has been lukewarm to say the least.
Karanam, Dharmana, Avanthi trap Chandrababu on capital issue?
Has chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy successfully trapped Chandrababu Naidu in his three-capital rhetoric? It appears so. Now, the YSRCP has upped the ante and is targeting the TDP on the three-capitals issue. By the time the pro-Amaravati yatra reaches the North Andhra region, the pro-Vizag movement is all set to heat up the things.
Already senior minister Dharmana Prasada Rao has said that he was ready to resign and plunge into the agitation in support of Vizag as the executive capital of the state. Former minister Avanthi Srinivas too has said the same thing. Going a step further, government whip Karanam DharmaSri has submitted his resignation in the speaker’s format.
He even dared YSRCP AP chief K Atchen Naidu to resign too and go to the people to seek fresh mandate. He said he would defeat Atchen fair and square. With all this political heat, the issue of three capitals is all set to occupy the centre-stage of political discourse. To add further spice, there are attempts to form a non-political Joint Action Committee to achieve three-capitals for AP.
All these have ensured that the TDP goes on the backfoot. It would make supporting Chandrababu’s pro-Amaravati yatra difficult. Whether the TDP will accept the YSRCP challenge and resign or whether the TDP openly backs Amaravati as the capital, remains to be seen. Both ways, the TDP will stand to lose heavily.
Is ‘RRR’ Team Going Overboard With Oscars Lobbying?
As we know, the team of ‘RRR’ have sent their film for Oscar nominations in 14 categories. Sources say that they are aiming to win at least one of them and have paid around $6 million (50 crores approximately) towards campaigning and using influencers. The film’s producer did not make any comment regarding this update and it is expected.
Spending 50 crores on this campaign is huge as a big hero’s film can be made with that amount of money. But some people are questioning the team about why they are spending so much for just an award and what purpose does it serve when it wins. Sources close to Rajamouli say that the director got international fame after ‘RRR’ and winning an Oscar will do a world of good for his upcoming movies as the overseas rates will be sold for bigger rates than usual. It looks like Rajamouli is spending this money as an investment so that his upcoming projects can enjoy its favours.
RRR’ is produced by DVV Danayya on a budget of over 400 crores. The lead actors delivered stupendous performances and MM Keeravani is the music composer who is one of the main pillars in the film’s success. Alia Bhatt is playing the role of Sita in this film while Ajay Devgn appears in a brief role. Olivia Morris is also a part of the film and she looked very cute.
Apart from a few noted Hollywood actors, ‘RRR’ has actors like Shriya Saran, Rajeev Kanakala, Samuthirakani and others did key roles. NTR will be seen as Komaram Bheem while Ram Charan plays the role of Alluri Seetha Ramaraju in this massive film which is set in the backdrop of the pre-Independence era. Both of them are enjoying the humongous success of this pan-Indian film. Senthil Kumar is the director of photography while Sabu Cyril is the production designer. Srinivas Mohan is the VFX supervisor for this huge project. Rama Rajamouli is the costume designer.
Rashmika Said ‘My Life, My Journey’ To Her Parents!
Kannada beauty Rashmika Mandanna has arrived with her maiden Bollywood film ‘Goodbye’. This movie has Rashmika playing the role of Amitabh Bachchan’s daughter and it was released on Friday to a below-average talk. She promoted this film quite aggressively and did all she can to create a good buzz before flying off to the Maldives with her ‘good friend’.
Rashmika made her film debut with ‘Kirik Party’ and gained a lot of fame. She immediately worked with big stars in Kannada before moving to Tollywood. Her first Telugu film was ‘Chalo’ and she went onto act in many hit films like ‘Bheeshma’, ‘Geetha Govindham’, ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’, ‘Devadas’ and others. She made her Tamil debut with Karthi’s ‘Sultan’ which was a failure. She is now venturing into Bollywood and is grabbing a lot of attention. Along the way, she had her share of controversies starting with breaking her engagement with Rakshit Shetty to allegedly having a secret relationship with Deverakonda.
Speaking in an interview, Rashmika explained how parents learned the ‘hard way’ about having no control over their daughter’s career. She said, “There was a point where my mom thought that industry was something which we had control over. Whatever we want to do, we can do in the industry and she had to learn it the hard way that that wasn’t right. No matter what your family does, you’re an actor, you’re an artist, you’re the face so that will come on you.”
Apparently, the beauty made it clear to her parents that they shouldn’t involve in her work affairs. She explained, “Now we have figured that you are not from the industry so don’t involve yourself in the industry because you can’t take so much. You are from Coorg, we don’t have so much of a broad mind. You guys live your life, this is your life, don’t let this go. You live a comfortable happy life. Let me do my thing because I am an artist. This is my life, my journey.”
She reportedly said this to her parents. “Let me make my own choices, don’t try to control my life because the world is not the way you think it is. It’s so much bigger, so much harder. So I had to give that lesson being a daughter, and being an artist.” She concluded by saying, “It was a journey and a lesson for all of us.â€
Dil Raju’s Comments On ‘PS – 1’ Getting A Lot Of Reaction!
The team of ‘PS – 1’ have officially announced that the collections crossed the 300 crore mark. This historic drama based on the famous novel ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ grossed more than 300 crores but the majority of it came from the Tamil market. Speaking about the trolling regarding the visuals of ‘Adipurush’, Dil Raju commented that the visuals will be fantastic when they watch it on the big screen. He added that everyone knows how visuals impressed everyone in ‘PS – 1’. This turned out to be a comedic statement from the star producer.
We all know the main reason behind the success of ‘PS – 1’. Despite getting such big numbers, it got a maximum of 10 crores share in Telugu and 14 crores gross in the Hindi market. Over 80% of its collections are from the Tamil audience who are emotionally attached to the novel and their history. ‘PS – 1’ is not running successfully anywhere else. If visuals alone are enough that this film must get collections equally as ‘KGF’ or at least ‘Vikram’. Respect on Mani Ratnam and the huge star cast are the only reasons why people tried to watch this film in other languages.
A lot of Tamil audience too went to watch the film in order to find out about the history. In the same manner, people may see ‘Adipurush’ just to know how they showcased Ramayana and get to know more about it. This doesn’t mean that the visuals are fantastic. Hope Dil Raju realizes this soon.
No Crowd In Theatres Even During Holiday Season!
Usually, big heroes have the capacity to get 50 crores share in the first three days even if it is a normal weekend. But Megastar Chiranjeevi’s ‘Godfather’ which came out during the Dasara festive season managed to get only 13 crores share on its first day. Looking at these figures, the trade experts are expressing their concerns over future of theatre business.
A few years back, Megastar Chiranjeevi came with ‘Khaidi No 150’ which is a remake. It got 23+ share on the first day. In a gap of four years, the share got reduced by 10 crores and this explains the change in the minds of audience. Movies were considered one of the best ways of entertainment during the festive seasons. That is why most people used to watch films irrespective of the talk during festival days. The collections during those days used to be fantastic but it is not the situation nowadays.
Some say that ticket rates are the main reason behind this change. If a single ticket costs 300 bucks, a small family will be spending 1200-1500 just on tickets itself. Considering the rates of food items in theatres, the expenditure will be around 2000 rupees if a family decides to watch a movie. At this rate, a family spends 10000 rupees if they watch five films in 6 months. Compared to that, you will be getting one year free subscription of an OTT platform for Rs. 1000 and you can enjoy those films in 4K within a few weeks of their release.
Experts claim that the stars should make films that force you to step into theatres and make sure that it is promoted well and impresses the public. Selecting average scripts or remakes and hoping that their star power would be enough is surely going to backfire in the coming days.
