The excitement surrounding Prabhas’ upcoming film The Raja Saab is reaching new heights, and the makers are now carefully fine-tuning their publicity strategy to capture both Tollywood and Bollywood audiences.

Director Maruthi and his team, in collaboration with SS Rajamouli’s marketing experts, have reportedly decided to take a more structured, pan-India promotional approach instead of the usual early-hype formula. The campaign will be rolled out in phases, ensuring consistent visibility across regions and languages.

Following the grand first-look poster launch, the next big wave of promotions will kick off with the audio campaign. Sources reveal that the songs are already complete and lined up for release. The first single from The Raja Saab is expected to drop in the third week of this month, with a new track releasing every ten days thereafter.

Adding to the buzz, the official trailer is scheduled for a New Year’s release, while an exclusive Christmas event in the USA is being planned to engage Prabhas’ vast international fan base.

With this globally oriented and Bollywood-inclusive marketing strategy, the team behind The Raja Saab aims to make the film a truly pan-India cinematic event, ensuring massive pre-release traction across domestic and overseas markets.

Naidu Govt Doubles Welfare Spending Compared to Jagan’s Tenure

Share

According to the latest PRS State of State Finances 2025–26 report, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu appears to be spending significantly more on welfare schemes than his predecessor Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. The report highlights a sharp rise in budgetary allocations for programmes supporting OBCs, Scheduled Castes (SCs), Scheduled Tribes (STs), and minorities under the current NDA government.

As per the data, the Naidu-led government now spends nearly 38% of its total budget on the welfare of OBCs, SCs, STs, and minorities — almost double the proportion during Jagan’s tenure. Under the previous YSRCP government, spending on these sections stood at around 19% in 2022–23 and 17% in 2024–25. Additionally, Naidu’s administration has allocated 11% of the total budget to overall welfare programmes, compared to the 6–8% range seen under Jagan’s rule.

These numbers reflect Naidu’s greater emphasis on social inclusion, particularly through pensions and direct support schemes, surpassing even the welfare-heavy image projected by Jagan’s “Navaratnalu” initiatives. While Jagan’s governance largely revolved around direct cash transfers and subsidies, Naidu’s approach expands welfare both in coverage and depth, ensuring that marginalized communities benefit more broadly.

Analysts believe this surge in welfare allocation is a strategic move by the NDA government to rebuild public trust and deliver quick social benefits, while still maintaining fiscal discipline by attracting investments into the state. Welfare has become a core pillar of Naidu’s policy vision — aligning with his campaign promise of “SUPER 6” and balancing inclusive growth with economic development.

The PRS report further notes that Andhra Pradesh now ranks among the top states in budget allocation for the welfare of SCs, STs, OBCs, and minorities, with much of it funneled through the social security pension scheme. Moreover, the state received ₹7,902 crore under the Centre’s Scheme for Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment (SASCI) in 2024–25 — one of the highest allocations among major states. This highlights how the NDA alliance has been proactive in securing central funds not only for welfare but also for capital and infrastructure development.

With welfare spending surpassing that of Jagan’s tenure, the Naidu government is sending a strong message — that inclusive growth and social welfare will remain central to Andhra Pradesh’s governance model, while simultaneously accelerating infrastructure and capital development to drive long-term progress.

Pawan Kalyan Brings Electricity to Remote Gudem Village

Share

Deep in the dense forests of Alluri Sitarama Raju district lies a small tribal hamlet called Gudem — a remote village under Rompalli Panchayat in Ananthagiri mandal, home to just 17 houses. For decades, this village lived in complete darkness, cut off from the comforts of modern life, as it had no access to electricity.

Despite several appeals to authorities over the years, their pleas went unheard — until about five months ago, when the issue reached Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan. Responding swiftly, the Ministry of Power initiated steps to electrify the village under the Non-PVGY scheme.

With an investment of nearly ₹80 lakh, officials laid 10 kilometers of power lines and erected 217 poles, finally bringing electricity to every home in Gudem. To ensure uninterrupted power, solar panels were also installed and linked to a dedicated transformer for backup supply.

The project wasn’t easy — due to the challenging forest terrain, power department staff had to carry poles manually and dig through rocky paths to complete the installation. Yet, in just 15 days, the entire operation was successfully executed.

Adding to this milestone, a hybrid solar and wind power unit worth over ₹10 lakh was also set up in the village under the PM Janman scheme, ensuring Gudem’s energy independence and marking a new dawn for its residents — a symbol of progress, perseverance, and hope in the heart of the forest.

Share

Dulquer Salmaan is all set to return to the big screen with an intense period drama Kaantha, hitting theatres on November 14th. The trailer, launched today by Rebel Star Prabhas, has already stirred immense curiosity among audiences.

Kaantha explores the journey of a passionate actor and his mentor who shapes his artistic beginnings. As the protégé rises to fame, their relationship begins to fracture over a shared dream project, Shaantha. What starts as a creative partnership gradually turns into a fierce battle of egos, ambition, and artistic vision — testing the strength of loyalty and friendship.

Directed by Selvamani Selvaraj, the film beautifully navigates the thin line between personal ambition and creative integrity. Dulquer Salmaan delivers a powerhouse performance, perfectly portraying the transformation from an idealistic newcomer to a pride-driven superstar. Samuthirakani, as the mentor, brings gravitas and emotional depth to his role. Bhagyashri Borse redefines the typical heroine arc with her layered, heartfelt portrayal, while Rana Daggubati, appearing as a police officer, adds intensity to the narrative during key turning points.

The technical finesse of the film stands out — Dani Sanchez-Lopez’s black-and-white cinematography captures the era with artistic precision, while Ramalingam’s production design vividly recreates the golden age of cinema. Jhanu Chanthar’s soulful background score heightens the emotional and dramatic beats of the story.

Jointly produced by Wayfarer Films Pvt. Ltd. and Spirit Media, Kaantha promises a stirring cinematic experience that delves into the heart of creativity, ambition, and human emotion. With its captivating narrative and standout performances, the trailer has set the stage for one of the year’s most emotionally charged and visually rich films.

NTR–Prashanth Neel Film Rumours Cleared

Share

For the past few weeks, Jr NTR and director Prashanth Neel’s much-awaited collaboration, tentatively referred to as #NTRNeel, has been surrounded by speculation. Several media reports suggested that creative differences between the actor and the filmmaker had caused interruptions in production, potentially affecting the film’s schedule and release plans. These rumours sparked concern among fans and led to widespread discussion about the project’s progress.

However, the makers have now put all such speculation to rest. In an official update released today, the team shared a new photograph of Jr NTR undergoing a fresh styling session for the film, with Prashanth Neel personally supervising the look. The film’s official handle captioned the photo saying:

“The beast mode is about to ignite again. #NTRNEEL next schedule begins soon. Man of Masses @tarak9999 #PrashanthNeel @MythriOfficial @NTRArtsOfficial @NTRNeelFilm @TSeries.”

The image and announcement have promptly reassured fans, who are celebrating the confirmation that the project is progressing smoothly. Social media platforms have since flooded with excitement and renewed hype surrounding the film.

The project is widely rumoured to be titled “Dragon,” though an official title announcement from the makers is still awaited. #NTRNeel is being jointly produced by Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts, marking one of the most anticipated mass-action ventures currently in production.

With the next schedule expected to commence soon, anticipation for Jr NTR’s new intense look and Neel’s signature high-voltage storytelling continues to rise among fans and the industry alike.

Ram Charan’s “Chikiri” Promo Sparks Buzz

Share

The promo of “Chikiri,” the latest song from Ram Charan’s upcoming film Peddi, is already making waves online. The track carries a soft, dreamy melody that captures the feeling of a man quietly lost in thoughts of the woman he loves. Its gentle rhythm and romantic undertones are resonating strongly with fans, setting the tone for what seems to be one of the film’s emotional highlights.

In the film, that woman is played by Janhvi Kapoor, and fans have quickly started referring to her as “lover Chikiri.” The song’s mood has sparked a flood of fan edits and aesthetic visualizations across social media, even before the full video is out.

Adding to the moment, Janhvi Kapoor recently shared a set of new photos that feel perfectly in sync with the song’s vibe. Dressed in a rich blue lehenga with pink detailing and intricate embroidery, she pairs the look with bold silver jewelry and deep-toned lips. Her composed expression and understated styling strike a balance between regal and intimate, creating a visual mood that feels straight out of Peddi itself.

Fans are now convinced the timing is no coincidence. The visuals, the styling, and the song’s promo all seem to align—almost like a subtle tease of her character’s aesthetic in the film. Whether intentional or not, one thing is clear: Janhvi’s “Chikiri” aura is taking over the conversation, and the anticipation around Peddi just got a whole lot stronger.

Fans Frustrated with Overhyped Telugu Film Promotions

Share

A growing section of Telugu cinema fans is expressing frustration over the increasingly drawn-out style of film promotions. The trend of announcing an “update about an update,” followed by yet another announcement, has become so common that many feel filmmakers are testing their patience rather than building anticipation.

The recent promotional rollout for Akhanda 2 is a prime example. The team first announced on November 4 that an update would be revealed on November 5. On November 5, they clarified that the update was actually a song promo releasing on November 7. Eventually, the full song release was scheduled for November 9. Fans questioned whether one song release truly needed four separate announcements.

This pattern is not restricted to major projects with large fan bases. Even smaller films with limited attention are following the same formula—teasing “poster loading,” “glimpse soon,” “promo of the promo,” and more, stretching basic promotional steps across days or weeks.

Fans argue that this strategy creates inflated expectations that are rarely met. By the time the actual content is released, anticipation has peaked so high that even genuinely good material feels underwhelming. Instead of excitement, the result is often disappointment.

Industry analysts note that filmmakers are attempting to keep their movies trending longer on social media and maintain continuous buzz. However, they warn that excessive teasing risks backfiring: the more anticipation is artificially prolonged, the greater the chance that the final content will feel underwhelming.

The growing backlash online reflects a clear sentiment—audiences want meaningful, quality promotional content rather than suspense for its own sake. Fans are urging filmmakers to streamline promotional strategies and focus on substance over hype.

Ravi Teja’s Upcoming Film Lineup Signals Strong Comeback Effort

Share

Ravi Teja, known for his energetic screen presence and consistent output in Telugu cinema, continues to maintain momentum despite recent box-office setbacks. His latest release, Mass Jathara, failed to resonate with both critics and audiences, but the actor remains undeterred as he moves ahead with a packed slate of upcoming projects.

Currently, four of his films are in various stages of production. The closest to release is the tentatively titled #RT76, a family comedy directed by Kishore Tirumala. The film features Ashika Ranganath and Dimple Hayathi in lead roles, with a song sequence presently being shot in Hyderabad. The team is targeting a Sankranthi 2026 release, and the title Bhartamahaseyalaku Vignapthi is under serious consideration.

Next in line is RT77, which will see Ravi Teja collaborating with director Shiva Nirvana for the first time. Known for romantic dramas such as Ninnu Kori and Majili, the filmmaker is expected to explore a new space with this film, reportedly a thriller, backed by Mythri Movie Makers.

Following this, RT78 will be a superhero-themed project directed by Kalyan Shankar of MAD fame, with producer Naga Vamsi supporting the venture.

Additionally, Ravi Teja is in advanced talks with Bimbisara director Vasishta for a large-scale science fiction drama. The script, initially conceptualized for Ram Charan, has reportedly been reworked to align with Ravi Teja’s style and schedule.

Despite recent box-office challenges, Ravi Teja appears determined to maintain his pace and deliver a new wave of films that could reaffirm his position as one of Tollywood’s most enduring entertainers.
