Ram Charan’s Peddi Song Promo with AR Rahman Wows Fans

Share

Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s upcoming rural entertainer Peddi has been the talk of Tollywood ever since its announcement. Set against the backdrop of village politics intertwined with multiple sports, the film has created massive anticipation thanks to its unique concept and director Buchi Babu Sana’s unshakable confidence in the script. Adding to the excitement, the promotional campaign so far has been nothing short of exceptional.

For the promo of the film’s first single, “Chikiri Chikiri,” Buchi Babu and his team have once again impressed with their innovative marketing approach. The makers released a special video featuring an engaging conversation between Buchi Babu and music maestro A.R. Rahman inside the latter’s studio, where they discuss how their collaboration came to life. Buchi fondly recalls how Rahman’s music in Bombay deeply inspired him and influenced his creative journey.

The conversation seamlessly transitions into the promo of “Chikiri Chikiri,” which offers a glimpse of Ram Charan’s graceful dance moves, complemented by Rahman’s signature melodic brilliance. The visuals also highlight the film’s rustic rural setting, beautifully captured with vibrant landscapes.

Interestingly, this marks the first time A.R. Rahman has appeared in a promotional video for a film. His return to Telugu cinema after more than a decade has only amplified expectations from the album. The first single, penned by Balaji and sung by Mohit Chauhan, promises to be a refreshing treat for music lovers.

Peddi also features Kannada superstar Shivaraj Kumar in a key role, with Janhvi Kapoor playing the female lead. The film is slated for a grand worldwide release on March 26th. It is being jointly produced by Vriddhi Cinemas, Mythri Movie Makers, and Sukumar Writings.

Rambai Nee Meeda Naku Wins Hearts with Folk Vibes

Share

Telangana folk music continues to hold a special place in the hearts of audiences, with many regional songs racking up hundreds of millions of views on YouTube. Now, bringing that authentic folk flavor to mainstream cinema, the makers of the upcoming film Raju Weds Rambai have unveiled a vibrant new song titled “Rambai Nee Meeda Naku.”

This catchy love track, enriched with soulful Telangana folk lyrics penned by Mittapalli Surender, captures the rustic charm and romantic essence of the region. Anurag Kulakarni’s melodious vocals, along with Jayasri Pallem’s harmonious voice, elevate the song to another level. Composer Suresh Bobbili perfectly blends folk rhythms with contemporary sound, creating a tune that instantly connects with Telangana youth.

From start to finish, the song transports listeners into a rural, romantic world. Early responses suggest that it’s poised to become a massive hit — another anthem for folk music lovers, much like “Anita O Anita” and “Ranu Bombai.”

Interestingly, the makers have dedicated this song to all auto and tractor song lovers, a nod to the deep roots of Telangana’s cultural landscape.

Backed by ETV Win, Raju Weds Rambai is written and directed by Saailu Kaampati, and produced by Venu Udugula and Rahul Mopidevi. The film is set for a worldwide theatrical release on November 21, with Bunny Vas and Vamsi Nandipati releasing it under BV Works and VN Entertainments banners.

Vishnu Vishal Calls for Pay Cut Among Actors

Share

Producer and actor Vishnu Vishal, who currently stars in the successful psycho-thriller Aaryan, has made a strong appeal to his fellow actors and artistes — asking them to consider reducing their remuneration to help the film industry thrive.

The actor shared this view during the Thanksgiving meet of Aaryan. When a journalist asked him, as a successful producer with three back-to-back hits, what advice he would offer to other producers struggling at the box office, Vishnu Vishal gave a thoughtful reply.

“I won’t make suggestions to producers,” he said. “But I will say this to heroes and artistes — please reduce your remuneration. Only then can we spend more on the making of a film. That’s all I want to say.”

His comments resonated widely across the industry, as several producers and directors have previously raised similar concerns about soaring actor fees affecting production quality. Director and producer S. P. Sakthivel was among the first to applaud the statement, posting on X (formerly Twitter): “Finally, much-needed CHANGE!”

Meanwhile, Aaryan continues its theatrical run with strong audience response. From Tuesday, the film began screening with a modified climax, trimming its runtime by about four to five minutes. The movie, directed by Praveen K., was released in Tamil Nadu on October 31, 2025, and its Telugu version is slated for release on November 7.

In Aaryan, Vishnu Vishal once again dons the role of a police officer. The film features Selvaraghavan, Shraddha Srinath, and Maanasa Choudhary in key roles, along with Sai Ronak, Tarak Ponnappa, Mala Parvathi, Avinash, and Abishek Joseph George. Notably, FIR director Manu Anand contributed to the script as co-writer.

Rajasekhar Song Goes Viral, Beats Balakrishna Classic

Share

“Idemitamma Maya Maya Maikam Kamminda…” — the catchy number from Aayudham, starring Rajasekhar, was only a modest success during its original release. The film itself was a box-office failure, and the song soon faded into obscurity.

But decades later, social media has breathed new life into it. Thanks to K-Ramp, the younger generation has rediscovered the track’s rhythm and nostalgic charm, turning it into an unexpected viral sensation.

Interestingly, K-Ramp also featured another popular number — “Nandamuri Nayaka, Andamaina Kanuka” from Balakrishna’s blockbuster Samarasimha Reddy. Despite being from one of the biggest hits in Telugu cinema, that song hasn’t caught on as strongly as Rajasekhar’s track.

It’s quite surprising that a song from a flop film is now outshining one from an industry hit. That’s the undeniable power of social media — where forgotten melodies find a fresh audience and trend decades later.

Gen-Z netizens, it seems, have overlooked Balakrishna’s evergreen classic and instead revived Rajasekhar’s forgotten tune, proving that in the digital era, nostalgia truly knows no rules.

Sreeleela Steps into Anushka’s Arundhati Role

Share

It’s already known that the Telugu blockbuster Arundhati, a landmark film in the horror-fantasy genre, is being remade in Hindi. Given the current trend and growing audience interest in supernatural thrillers, the decision seems timely. However, remaking a cult classic always comes with the challenge of living up to audience expectations and inevitable comparisons.

Earlier, Arundhati was remade in Bengali as a scene-to-scene adaptation, but the version was widely trolled by North Indian audiences, who compared it to the technical brilliance and grandeur of the original Telugu film. With a Hindi remake now in the works after so many years, such comparisons are bound to resurface.

The biggest challenge, however, rests on actress Sreeleela, who will be stepping into the shoes of Anushka Shetty — the role that catapulted Anushka to stardom. Matching her powerful screen presence and emotional intensity will be no easy task.

With a few recent setbacks and criticism over her inconsistent performances, Arundhati could be a make-or-break project for Sreeleela. For the remake to work, she will need to deliver an extraordinary performance, and the director must reimagine the story with a fresh cinematic vision rather than relying solely on nostalgia.

The film is being directed by Mohan Raja, known for helming Godfather starring Chiranjeevi — a film that didn’t quite impress at the box office. Whether he can recreate the eerie magic of Arundhati for a new generation remains to be seen.

Rashmika–Vijay Wedding Buzz Peaks

Share

Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda have long been rumored to be in a relationship, and fresh reports now suggest that the couple got engaged last month in a private ceremony attended by close family and friends. However, neither Rashmika nor Vijay has made any official confirmation so far.

During her recent appearance on a talk show hosted by Jagapathi Babu, where she was promoting her upcoming film The Girlfriend, Rashmika sparked curiosity when the host pointed out the rings on her fingers. Smiling, she said that both rings are very “dear” to her — a remark that immediately caught the attention of fans and fueled further speculation.

Buzz in the industry circles indicates that Rashmika and Vijay might tie the knot in February 2025. The wedding is expected to be an intimate yet traditional affair, reflecting the Deverakonda family’s deep-rooted spiritual beliefs and adherence to customary rituals.

Meanwhile, Vijay Deverakonda is currently busy shooting for two upcoming films — one directed by Rahul Sankrityan and another by Ravi Kiran Kola.

Bandla Ganesh Denies Mega Project Rumors

Share

Actor and producer Bandla Ganesh has been in the spotlight recently, not for his films but for the viral moments his speeches have been creating at public events.
At the success meet of K-Ramp, Ganesh made headlines by taking a playful jab at Vijay

Deverakonda and boldly declaring that Megastar Chiranjeevi deserves and will soon receive the Bharat Ratna. His comments quickly fueled speculation that he might be gearing up for a comeback as a producer, possibly with a film featuring Chiranjeevi or another member of the Mega family.

Given his long-standing association with Pawan Kalyan and Ram Charan, fans assumed it wouldn’t be difficult for him to collaborate once again within the Mega camp.

However, Bandla Ganesh has now dismissed all such rumors, urging fans and media outlets not to spread or believe unverified reports. He clearly stated that he is not producing any film at present, putting an end to the swirling speculation about his next move.

Mastiii 4 Trailer Draws Criticism for Vulgar Content

Share

The much-awaited trailer of Mastiii 4 dropped today, but instead of excitement, it has sparked a wave of criticism from viewers for its overly vulgar and cheap humor.

The film reunites original stars Vivek Oberoi, Aftab Shivdasani, and Riteish Deshmukh, alongside Nargis Fakhri, Arshad Warsi, and Tusshar Kapoor. Despite the star-studded lineup, fans took to social media expressing disappointment, calling the trailer “full of vulgarity” and “not funny at all.”

One netizen wrote, “There’s an objectionable scene involving a Muslim woman — this could spark a major controversy near the release. I don’t know how the censor board cleared this.” Another user commented, “Never seen this level of vulgarity in every frame. It’s tasteless and unnecessary.”

Directed by Milap Zaveri, Mastiii 4 also features Ruhii Singh, Shreya Sharma, and Elnaaz Norouzi in key roles. The film is slated for release on November 21, 2025.
Although the Mastiii franchise has a strong fan base with previous hits like Masti (2004), Grand Masti (2013), and Great Grand Masti (2016), the fourth installment seems to have crossed a line for many.

Fans are now wondering whether Mastiii 4 will manage to replicate the earlier box-office success — or end up being overshadowed by its controversial and indecent content.

Manchu Manoj Turns Down Bollywood, Stays True to Telugu Cinema

Share

Fame can take you places, but for Manchu Manoj, it seems to have led him right back home. After his powerful comeback as Mahabir Lamagot in the fantasy action hit Mirai, the actor has once again become the talk of the town. The film, starring Teja Sajja, Jagapathi Babu, Shriya Saran, Jayaram, and Ritika Nayak, turned out to be a massive surprise success, grossing over ₹140 crores worldwide. Manoj’s intense screen presence and rugged charisma left a strong impression — enough to catch the attention of Bollywood filmmakers.

But here’s where things get interesting — Manoj reportedly turned down multiple Hindi offers that came his way post-Mirai. According to sources, he’s in no hurry to switch industries. Instead, he’s focused on staying true to his Telugu roots, choosing stories that reflect the culture and emotion he connects with most.

Those close to the actor reveal that he’s been listening to several scripts in Hyderabad, being selective about his next move. Manoj isn’t chasing another action-packed spectacle — he’s seeking something deeper and emotionally resonant. In an era when many are running behind pan-India fame, his grounded approach feels refreshingly honest.

Up next, he’s gearing up to appear in Niharika Konidela’s quirky film What the Fish — a project that blends humor, emotion, and eccentricity. It’s a striking departure from the grandeur of Mirai, but perfectly in tune with Manoj’s unpredictable and heartfelt choices.

Jr NTR’s Drastic Transformation for Dragon

Share

In the film industry, actors constantly face scrutiny over their looks, and even minor physical changes often become a talking point. While some prefer to play it safe, others go all out to reinvent themselves for the sake of their craft. Jr NTR has always belonged to the latter category — an actor unafraid of transformation if the role demands it.

From his heavier look in Rakhi to his chiseled physique in RRR, NTR’s body transformations have reflected sheer discipline and commitment. But now, for his next project with director Prashanth Neel, tentatively titled Dragon, the actor has reportedly undergone his most striking transformation yet.

According to sources, NTR has slimmed down to around 60 kilograms, appearing leaner than ever before. This unexpected change has drawn both curiosity and concern among fans, who are eager to understand the creative vision behind it. Insiders reveal that NTR has been following a rigorous one-meal-a-day diet and an intense training regimen, fully trusting Neel’s direction and shaping himself to fit the film’s mysterious lead character.

The expectations surrounding Dragon go beyond box office numbers this time. The challenge now lies in Prashanth Neel justifying NTR’s physical dedication by crafting a powerful, memorable role that does justice to the transformation.

With no official posters or teasers out yet, anticipation continues to build. The makers are reportedly preparing a two-part franchise, produced by Mythri Movie Makers, with music by Ravi Basrur.

Also starring Rukmini Vasanth in the lead role, Dragon is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious and visually intense films of Jr NTR’s career — a project that promises to redefine his screen persona once again.
