Rashmika Blushes Over Engagement Rumors with Vijay Deverakonda

Share

The Kannada beauty Rashmika Mandanna seems all set to become a Telugu bride, and fans can’t stop talking about it. Rumors have been strong that the actress recently got engaged to Tollywood star Vijay Deverakonda. Though neither has officially confirmed the news, their matching rings have fueled endless speculation among fans.

As part of the promotions for her upcoming film The Girlfriend, Rashmika appeared on Jagapathi Babu’s talk show “Jayammu Nischayammura”, where she finally addressed the buzz — well, almost. When asked about the ring on her finger, Rashmika smiled but cleverly avoided confirming anything about an engagement.

Jagapathi Babu, known for his fun and teasing style, asked, “You’ve been acting with so many Vijays — Vijay Deverakonda, Vijay Sethupathi, and Thalapathy Vijay — and also achieving vijayalu (victories) in your career. Do you have a special connection with the name Vijay?” Rashmika blushed instantly, sending the audience into laughter.

When he pointed out the two rings on her fingers, Rashmika simply said both were “very important” to her. Jagapathi didn’t stop there — he teasingly hinted that one of those rings might have a special story behind it, and Rashmika turned visibly red, while the crowd cheered and teased her.

Though she didn’t give away any confirmation, her reactions said more than words. To find out exactly what she said, fans will have to watch the full episode of “Jayammu Nischayammura” — but one thing’s for sure, Rashmika’s blush has set the internet buzzing once again!

Mass Jathara Box Office Slump: Ravi Teja Faces Another Setback

Share

The powerful combo of Ravi Teja and Sreeleela, which previously delivered the blockbuster Dhamaka that grossed over ₹45 crore, seems to have missed the mark this time with Mass Jathara.

After a decent opening weekend, the film saw a sharp decline in collections on its third day at the box office. The Ravi Teja starrer, which managed to earn around ₹10.45 crore net in India over its first two days (including Friday premieres), dropped significantly on Monday.

According to early trade estimates, Mass Jathara collected only ₹0.95 crore net on its third day, reflecting a major dip in audience turnout. The Telugu occupancy on Monday, November 3, 2025, stood at an overall 14.87%, with morning shows recording 13.69%, a slight rise to 16.31% in the afternoon, and then dropping again to 14.86% and 14.62% for evening and night shows, respectively.

Directed by Bhanu Bhogavarapu and jointly produced by Fortune Four Cinemas, Srikara Studios, and Sithara Entertainments, the film had generated solid pre-release buzz thanks to its hit lead pair and festive timing. However, that momentum quickly fizzled after the weekend.

Following recent disappointments with Tiger Nageswara Rao and Mr. Bachchan, Ravi Teja had pinned high hopes on Mass Jathara to revive his box-office form. But with a slow start and steep weekday drop, the film now faces an uphill battle to recover its ₹40 crore-plus budget.

Vikranth and Chandini Chowdary’s upcoming film Santhana Prapthirasthu is all set for a grand theatrical release on November 14th. The film’s musical journey has already captured attention with three chart-topping numbers, and now the makers have dropped the much-awaited title track “Santhana Prapthirasthu.”

Composed by Sunil Kashyap, this lively and engaging number instantly hooks listeners with its infectious rhythm. Kasarla Shyam’s clever lyrics, which humorously depict the emotional ups and downs of a couple trying to conceive, strike a delightful balance between fun and heartfelt emotion.

The chemistry between Vikranth and Chandini Chowdary adds charm to the visuals — their expressions, tender moments, and emotional connection elevate the song beautifully. Ram Miriyala’s energetic vocals infuse life into the composition, enhancing its appeal and making it a perfect fit for the film’s tone.

Backed by Madhura Sreedhar Reddy and Nirvi Hariprasad Reddy under Madhura Entertainment and Nirvi Arts, the film is helmed by Sanjeev Reddy, known for ABCD (starring Allu Sirish) and the web series Aha Naa Pellanta. The screenplay comes from Sheikh Dawood Ji, celebrated for his work on Venkatadri Express, Express Raja, and Ek Mini Katha.
With a refreshing concept, engaging music, and strong performances, Santhana Prapthirasthu is shaping up to be an entertaining mix of humor and heartfelt emotion.

After recently revealing the first look of Janhvi Kapoor as Achiyyamma, a rustic village belle, the team has now dropped another major update.

Taking to social media, Ram Charan shared a candid photo featuring Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman and director Buchi Babu Sana, teasing an exciting announcement. The post confirmed that the first single from Peddi will be released this Saturday.

Adding to the buzz, A.R. Rahman is slated to perform live at Ramoji Film City on November 8, and reports indicate that the song’s launch event will coincide with his concert.

Producer Rajesh Danda Apologizes for Remarks at K Ramp Event

Share

Film producer Rajesh Danda has issued a public apology after facing backlash over his controversial remarks during the success meet of his latest film, K Ramp. His comments, perceived as offensive towards a media outlet, triggered criticism from the South India Digital Publishers Association (SIDPA) and sparked debate across industry circles.

In a video released during today’s K Ramp success celebrations, Danda admitted his mistake and expressed sincere regret for his words. He apologized to members of the media for using unparliamentary language, clarifying that he never intended to insult or demean anyone.

Danda explained that his remarks were made in a moment of emotional frustration, adding that he now realizes they were inappropriate. “I have great respect for journalists and the media, who play a crucial role in supporting and promoting cinema,” he stated.

Following his apology, several film industry members welcomed his gesture, describing it as a mature and responsible step to mend relations with the media. However, the controversy has already drawn widespread attention online, highlighting the sensitivity surrounding public interactions between filmmakers and the press.

RK Calls Jagan a Narcissist, Sparks Ego Clash Debate in AP Politics

Share

Andhra Jyothy Managing Director V. Radhakrishna (RK), known for his fiery Sunday column “Kotha Paluku”, once again stirred controversy this week with sharp criticism aimed at YSR Congress Party president and former Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.

In his latest column, RK described Jagan as a “narcissist”, suggesting that the former chief minister suffers from narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) — a psychological condition marked by excessive self-importance and lack of empathy. He accused Jagan of being self-obsessed and detached from reality, especially in light of his recent comments on Cyclone Montha.

Jagan had earlier alleged that the cyclone, which caused severe damage across coastal Andhra Pradesh, was a “man-made disaster” orchestrated by current Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. Dismissing the allegation as baseless, RK wrote, “Jagan’s claim that Cyclone Montha was Naidu’s creation is immature and irrational.”

He also ridiculed Jagan for reportedly having his Sakshi media network run headlines portraying him as “the only leader who saved people from the cyclone even without being Chief Minister.” According to RK, such self-praising narratives reflect political insecurity and poor judgment.

At the same time, RK acknowledged Naidu’s administrative efficiency in handling cyclone situations, noting that even critics credit him for mobilizing the government machinery effectively. During Cyclone Montha, Naidu was said to have personally monitored relief measures, while Jagan was reportedly in Bengaluru and returned only after the storm subsided.

However, political observers argue that RK’s critique exposes a double standard. “If Jagan can be called a narcissist for his exaggerated claims, what about Naidu?” one analyst questioned. “Naidu too often projects himself as the architect of Hyderabad’s IT revolution, saying ‘I built Hyderabad,’ ‘I created Cyberabad,’ or ‘I brought Microsoft to India.’ Such statements also reflect an inflated sense of self-importance.”

The analyst further noted that media bias plays a major role in amplifying this trend. “Some pro-Naidu TV channels go so far as to claim that Naidu could even divert the route of super cyclones if he wanted to. Isn’t that media narcissism?” he asked.

In conclusion, analysts observed that narcissism isn’t limited to one leader or one party — it runs deep across the political and media landscape of Andhra Pradesh. “Politicians, parties, and their loyal media outlets all seem trapped in a cycle of self-promotion,” one remarked. “It’s a case of collective narcissism dominating public life.”

India, Bahrain Deepen Ties at 5th High Joint Commission Meet in New Delhi

Share

External Affairs Minister (EAM) S. Jaishankar and Bahrain’s Foreign Minister, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Alzayani, co-chaired the 5th India-Bahrain High Joint Commission meeting in New Delhi on Monday, where the two sides reviewed the full spectrum of bilateral cooperation and explored new areas of strategic partnership.

The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation in trade, investment, security, defence, health, culture and people-to-people exchanges. Both leaders also highlighted emerging areas such as space technology, financial technology, and cyber security, calling them promising avenues for future collaboration.

EAM Jaishankar expressed confidence that India’s engagement with the Gulf region will further intensify as Bahrain assumes the presidency of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
“Reviewed the progress in our bilateral relations… and discussed promising opportunities in space, fintech and cyber domains. As Bahrain takes over the GCC presidency, confident that India-GCC ties will continue to deepen,” Jaishankar posted on X. He also thanked Bahrain’s leadership for ensuring the welfare and safety of the large Indian community living in the country.

Underscoring the longstanding nature of the partnership, Jaishankar noted that India and Bahrain share “centuries-old ties rooted in trade linkages and strong people-to-people relations,” and reiterated a shared commitment to regional peace and prosperity.

Foreign Minister Alzayani highlighted the historical depth of the relationship, recalling civilizational exchanges between the ancient cultures of Dilmun and the Indus Valley. He noted that India remains one of Bahrain’s key trading partners and emphasized Manama’s intent to further enhance connectivity and economic cooperation.

“Economic links remain central to our relationship which has flourished across various fields. Both our nations recognise that economic cooperation and interdependence are essential for promoting peace, stability and shared prosperity,” Alzayani said during the meeting.

The two sides also exchanged views on regional and global developments, reaffirming their commitment to close coordination on issues of mutual interest.

Ex-Minister Vidadala Rajini Faces New ₹5 Crore Job Scam Allegations

Share

YSR Congress Party leader and former Andhra Pradesh Health Minister Vidadala Rajini has once again found herself at the center of controversy. Already facing a CID probe over an alleged extortion case involving a stone crusher owner, Rajini is now entangled in a massive job fraud scandal that has surfaced in Palnadu district.

According to complaints lodged with the district Superintendent of Police (SP), several victims — including a B Pharmacy student named Krishna from Dornala — accused Rajini’s personal assistants and close aides of cheating unemployed youth by collecting nearly ₹5 crore under the guise of providing government jobs.

As per the complaint, Rajini’s PAs Sreekanth Reddy and Dodda Ramakrishna, along with her followers Sriganesh and Kumaraswamy, allegedly promised contract postings in the Health Department during Rajini’s tenure as minister. Each aspirant was reportedly asked to pay ₹8 lakh.

However, when no jobs materialized, the victims demanded refunds. Instead, the accused allegedly threatened them and went absconding, switching off their phones. The victims have now approached the police with bank transaction proofs and WhatsApp chat evidence, prompting a preliminary investigation.

“This is a serious betrayal of unemployed youth who were desperate for opportunities,” said a senior police official. “If the allegations are proven, it would amount to criminal breach of trust and extortion.”

The issue has triggered strong political reactions, with the ruling TDP demanding a full-fledged investigation and questioning the moral accountability of the YSRCP leadership. Party leaders allege that the scam reflects the deep-rooted corruption that plagued the system during the previous government’s tenure.

Earlier, Rajini was booked in another case for allegedly extorting ₹2.20 crore from the owners of Sri Lakshmi Balaji Stone Crusher in Kandrika village, Yadlapadu mandal of Palnadu district — a case that is currently under CID investigation.
