Jogi Ramesh Repeats ‘Telidhu… Gurthuledhu… Marchipoya’ During SIT Probe

Share

Former minister and YSRCP leader Jogi Ramesh, who was recently arrested by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) in connection with the spurious liquor case, reportedly came well-prepared for the interrogation.

According to sources, SIT officials, along with the police, questioned Jogi Ramesh and his brother Ramu separately for nearly 11 hours. However, throughout the intense session, Ramesh stuck to one standard line of defense — “Telidhu… Gurthuledhu… Marchipoya!” (“Don’t know… Don’t remember… Forgot!”).

Jogi Ramesh is said to have denied all allegations, asserting that he had no involvement whatsoever in the case. He reportedly told investigators that he was being targeted for political reasons, recalling how he once protested in front of Chandrababu Naidu’s residence, and claiming that even his son had been implicated in the Agrigold lands case due to political vendetta.

When asked about his alleged connection with key accused Addhepalli Janardhan Rao, Ramesh reportedly insisted that he didn’t know him personally, had no business or financial links, and couldn’t recall when or how he might have met him. Even after officers showed him viral photos of the two together, he allegedly maintained his stance, claiming he had no idea how those images surfaced.

The SIT is said to be analyzing the evidence further, while Jogi Ramesh’s repeated denials have sparked debate over whether he is being cornered politically or genuinely has no role in the scandal.

Revanth Reddy Faces Backlash Over NTR Statue Decision

Share

Congress leaders in Telangana are reportedly expressing dissatisfaction over Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s decision to install a statue of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. T. Rama Rao at Ameerpet Maitrivanam. The move, seen as an attempt to woo a section of voters ahead of the upcoming by-elections, has stirred internal unrest within the party.

Several senior Congress leaders believe the gesture is politically misguided, pointing out that NTR was a lifelong rival of the Congress Party, having once overthrown its government and remained a formidable opponent throughout his career.

One senior leader remarked, “Our Chief Minister should be honoring leaders who built and strengthened the Congress in Telangana — such as Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy and Chenna Reddy — instead of glorifying someone who fought against our party.”

The controversy underscores a growing ideological rift within the Telangana Congress and raises questions about Revanth Reddy’s political strategy. Many leaders fear such actions could alienate the party’s traditional support base rather than expand it.

Adding to the tension, the silence of top Congress leadership, including Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi, has not gone unnoticed. Insiders say their inaction reflects a lack of internal cohesion and clarity within the party at a critical time.

Analysts argue that decisions like this risk blurring the Congress’s ideological identity in Telangana, weakening its political stance as it seeks to consolidate power in the state.

‘Shiva’ 4K Re-Release: The Film That Changed Telugu Cinema Forever

Share

Ram Gopal Varma’s Shiva, starring Nagarjuna, was a groundbreaking film that redefined the language of Telugu cinema. At a time when the industry followed predictable formulas, Shiva introduced a new cinematic vision and became a trendsetter. It also marked Varma’s directorial debut — and what a debut it was. Without any prior experience as an assistant director, he crafted Shiva entirely on his own terms.

Despite facing challenges during production, Varma remained firm in his convictions. No matter the opposition from the team or producers, he insisted on doing things exactly as he envisioned. His stubbornness and confidence in his storytelling led many on the crew to think he was reckless, but it also became the very reason Shiva turned out so unique. Even the producers had to concede to his creative dominance — a rare feat for a first-time director.

During script discussions, Nagarjuna’s brother Venkat Akkineni actively participated and even suggested a few ideas. However, Varma didn’t hesitate to reject anything that didn’t fit his vision. Venkat reportedly wanted actor Mohan Babu to play the powerful villain role of Ganesh, believing it would enhance the film’s appeal. But Varma was adamant — he wanted a fresh face for that role. He felt a new actor would bring authenticity and rawness to the part, allowing the audience to see Ganesh, not the star behind him.

True to his instincts, Varma cast a newcomer, and the now-iconic confrontation scene between Ganesh and Shiva became one of the film’s highlights. Varma later explained that if Mohan Babu had played the part, viewers would have seen Mohan Babu, not Ganesh, which would have diluted the scene’s impact. His decision proved right, cementing his reputation as a filmmaker who trusted his creative intuition above all else.

Over three decades later, Shiva continues to be celebrated for its technical brilliance, music, dialogues, and raw energy. The film has been re-released several times, and now, it’s returning once again — this time in stunning 4K visuals with remastered sound. Scheduled for release on November 14, the new version is being presented by Annapurna Studios, with Ram Gopal Varma personally supervising the restoration.

The promotions have already sparked excitement among audiences and industry veterans alike. For many, Shiva is not just a film — it’s a revolution that changed Telugu cinema forever. And with this re-release, it’s ready to inspire yet another generation of movie lovers.

Chandni Chowdhury’s Sci-Fi Dark Comedy Begins Shoot

Share

Every once in a while, a story comes along that makes you pause and wonder, “What’s really happening here?” Chandni Chowdhury’s next film seems to be one of those rare ones. This upcoming project — a science fiction dark comedy — is already creating quite a buzz. Directed by Vikas and produced by Srujana Gopal, the film officially went on floors on Sunday, with actor-director Tharun Bhascker sounding the first clap. After hearing the concept, Tharun described it as “new and fresh,” which has only fueled more curiosity around the project.

For Chandni, this marks an exciting leap outside her comfort zone. She stars opposite Sushant Yashki in what’s being described as a quirky blend of sci-fi, dark humor, and the supernatural. Instead of going the typical high-tech or alien route, the film reportedly focuses on human emotions, imagination, and the strange power dynamics among ordinary people.

Producer Srujana Gopal hinted that the story introduces “a superhero no one expected” — a line that’s left fans guessing. The narrative is said to twist reality in surprising ways, balancing absurdity with thought-provoking depth.

For Chandni, who’s been steadily carving her space in Telugu cinema with her versatile performances, this film feels like a bold and refreshing move — one that could redefine her image and bring something truly different to the Telugu audience.

Sharwanand’s Emotional Comeback with Biker

Share

Sharwanand, celebrated for his expressive performances and method acting, has long been recognized as one of Telugu cinema’s most gifted and versatile actors. His natural ability to convey deep emotions with sincerity has earned him a devoted following among movie lovers.

However, as often seen in the film industry, talent alone doesn’t guarantee success — the right story and emotional connect make all the difference. After a brief slowdown in his career, Sharwanand is now poised for a strong comeback with his upcoming film Biker, slated for release this December.

According to industry buzz, Biker is shaping up to be an emotionally charged drama that strikes a perfect balance between heartfelt storytelling, engaging drama, and high-energy sequences. The recently unveiled “First Lap Glimpse” has already garnered an enthusiastic response from audiences and netizens alike.

Early talk from insiders suggests that Biker could offer the same emotional depth and inspirational tone that made Nani’s Jersey a modern classic — raising hopes that this film will mark Sharwanand’s much-awaited return to peak form.

Sree Leela’s Flop Streak Continues

Share

Tollywood’s most sought-after actress, Sree Leela, continues to captivate audiences with her unmatched dance moves, charming screen presence, and natural acting skills. Despite her undeniable talent and glamour, the young star seems to be facing a rough patch in her career. While her performances are consistently appreciated, the box office fate of her recent films tells a different story.

After a string of disappointments like Extra Ordinary Man, Guntur Kaaram, and Robinhood, her latest outing, Mass Jathara starring Ravi Teja, is also struggling to make an impact. This series of flops has raised questions about her script choices and career planning. Industry buzz suggests that external influences, including her mother’s involvement in project selection and her supposed Bollywood aspirations, might be affecting her decisions.

Adding to the discussion is her new, slimmer look, which she revealed was the result of a strict diet. While some praised her transformation, others felt she’s losing the charm and vibrancy that once defined her.

For now, Sree Leela stands at a critical juncture. With Pawan Kalyan’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh lined up next, she needs a strong hit to regain momentum. If she focuses on quality scripts and performance-driven roles, there’s no doubt she can reclaim her position as one of Tollywood’s brightest stars.

Producer Dheeraj Mogilineni Urges Tollywood to Rethink Film Promotions

Share

Promotions play a crucial role in a film’s success, especially in today’s digital-driven world. However, most Telugu filmmakers still stick to old-school methods — trailer launches, pre-release events, press meets, and influencer interviews — which no longer excite audiences.
In a recent interview, producer Dheeraj Mogilineni spoke openly about this outdated approach. He said many producers simply don’t understand how to promote their films because film marketing isn’t taught or prioritized in their learning process.

“Many producers don’t know how to promote their films. They are just following an age-old template. I’ve seen small producers spend all their money on making the film but nothing on marketing,” he explained.

Dheeraj emphasized that anyone with money can make a film, but without a solid promotional plan, even a good movie can go unnoticed. He added that some actors also fail to support promotions by not allotting dates, which further affects a film’s reach.

“Marketing is not just about spending money — it’s about creating excitement and curiosity,” he said, urging producers to adopt fresh and innovative promotional strategies to attract audiences.

In an era where visibility matters as much as content, his words serve as a reminder that creative promotion is no longer optional — it’s essential for box office success.

SS Rajamouli Congratulates ISRO on ‘Bahubali’ Rocket Launch

Share

Ace filmmaker SS Rajamouli, the visionary behind the Baahubali franchise, took to social media to applaud the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) for its successful launch of the powerful rocket Launch Vehicle Mark-3 (LVM-3) — popularly known as “Bahubali.” The rocket carried India’s heaviest communication satellite, CMS-03, into orbit, marking a proud milestone in the nation’s space journey and further boosting broadcasting, telecom, and broadband networks.

Sharing his joy, Rajamouli wrote, “Congratulations to ISRO… A proud moment for India. Onwards and upwards!” The nickname Bahubali was inspired by Rajamouli’s cinematic masterpiece, symbolizing immense strength and scale — just like the film’s titular hero.

Interestingly, the Baahubali saga has found new life in theatres as “Baahubali: The Epic,” a re-edited single version of both films. ISRO’s groundbreaking achievement and Rajamouli’s heartfelt tribute beautifully highlight how Indian science and cinema continue to make the nation proud — both reaching for the stars in their own ways.

Chinmayi Sripada Slams Industry’s Silence on Harassment

Share

Truth doesn’t always whisper — sometimes it roars, and Chinmayi Sripada just proved it again. The playback singer, admired for both her soulful voice and fearless opinions, has set social media ablaze with her latest post. Known for standing up for women’s rights and calling out misconduct, Chinmayi didn’t hold back this time either.

She took a firm stand after learning that choreographer Jani Master and singer Karthik — both previously accused of sexual harassment — have made comebacks in the film industry. Chinmayi expressed her anger, saying that offering such individuals second chances feels like rewarding the misuse of fame and privilege. In her post, she wrote, “If karma really works, it won’t leave anyone untouched.” The line hit hard, spreading rapidly across platforms and sparking intense debate.

Jani and Karthik’s names have been tied to controversy before — with Jani even serving brief jail time before being released on bail. Their quiet return to the limelight hasn’t gone down well with Chinmayi, who believes the industry often forgets accountability too easily.

Social media reactions have been divided — some are applauding her courage, while others accuse her of reopening old wounds. But whether one agrees or not, Chinmayi’s words have once again sparked a larger conversation. When she sees injustice, she doesn’t hum — she hits the high note of truth.
