YS Viveka Case: CBI Grills two people in connection with the case!
As a big development in YS Vivekananda Reddy’s murder case, his daughter Sunitha Reddy has written to Kadapa SP saying that she observed suspicious movements around her house and sought more security.
A day after she made a complaint, one Manikanta Reddy, a close aide of Siva Shankar Reddy was nabbed by Kadapa police today.
After taking him into custody, the police had reportedly questioned him on why he did a recce near YS Viveka’s house.
As another development, Siva Shankar Reddy and Raghunath Reddy appeared before the CBI for questioning in connection with the case
The duo was grilled by the CBI for hours to get information on the case. They are believed to have given crucial info to the officials.
Siva Shankar Reddy is currently rendering his services as the state secretary for YSRCP.
Over the past few weeks, the CBI has intensified its efforts in the probe. The relatives and close contacts of YS Vivekananda Reddy are being questioned.
Recently, the CBI sleuths have conducted searches and reportedly seized the farm tools that were used in the case.

She is doing her bit to promote the upcoming cookery show by giving interviews to daily newspapers. Talking about her experience in cooking and the dishes she likes the most, Tamannaah said that she likes to explore various food from different states and different places she travels too. Speaking about Telugu food, she said, “Chepala Pulusu is my all-time favorite and I love Biryani a lot. My friends from Mumbai ask me to get Biryani from Hyderabad. Whenever it is possible, I take Biryani parcels to my friends.” She even added, “I like sweets and Putharekulu is my favorite.”
Tamanna even opened up about her skills in cooking. She stated, “My family doesn’t let me cook at home but now I am aware of the cooking procedures because of this TV show. I will experiment with new dishes once I am back home.”

Bandi Sanjay’s Yatra: BJP worried about protests over price hike
Despite the bravado, there are lurking fears among the BJP cadres and the leaders over the reaction and response to state president Bandi Sanjay’s Praja Sangrama Yatra. The BJP thinking heads are trying to ascertain the public mood even as preparations are on for the yatra. They are worried that the price rise and petrol prices hike might boomerang on them and that they may have to answer some tough questions.
There are reports that the TRS and Congress workers might put spokes to the BjP Yatra. These party cadres might ask tough questions over fuel prices. Answering them is a tough task, say BJP workers. The BJP strategists are preparing answers and counters to such questions. The party leaders are of the opinion that Sanjay should talk about the successful vaccination programme and the government’s atmanirbhar package. The party is trying to deflect the criticism of price rise with BJP’s packages to industry, farm sector and the dailywagers.
There are internal reports that the Left party activists too might stage protests and try to attack the yatra. There are also reports that the TRS too might organise similar protests. It may be recalled that on the day of polling for the Graduates Constituency Elections, KTR posted images of his performing pooja to an LPG cylinder. These have reminded the voters, mainly the middle class, were swayed by this and had voted against the BJP. The BJP is worried that the political rivals might use this to attack the yatra of Bandi Sanjay.
Meanwhile, the yatra will begin from August 24 and the route map has already been chalked out. BJP treasurer Gangidi Manohar Reddy has been appointed as the overall incharge of the yatra. As many as 200 phase-wise incharges have been appointed for the yatra.

YS Viveka’s daughter Suneetha alleges threat to her family
The murder case of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s uncle and former minister YS Vivekananda Reddy is currently being investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
As the CBI has speeded up the probe, Viveka’s daughter Suneetha has alleged threat to her family. She wrote to the Kadapa district Superintendent of Police on Friday, seeking a threat analysis for her family. She said that there was an alleged suspicious movement near her residence in Pulivendula.
In the letter, Suneetha revealed that at 5:20 pm on the 10th of this month, a suspect wandered around their house twice, stopped at the next door of the house compound and made phone calls.
Eventually, the man was identified as Manikanta Reddy and she revealed that he is very close to D Shiva Shankar Reddy, who was a key suspect in the murder of his father.
“Mr. D. Siva Shankar Reddy is the prime suspect in the brutal murder of my father Mr. Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy and I have made this allegation to every investigation officer since August 2019,” she wrote.
The police, after identifying the suspect and questioning him, it was found that he was a catering contractor, and the suspect said he was looking to rent a place in the area for his catering business.
What Is Happening With ‘Acharya’?
When is ‘Acharya’ arriving? This is the question that has been revolving in the minds of every Mega fan from the past year. This social drama has been in production for a really long time and there is no update on the release date. There is a talk that Koratala Siva wants to release this movie during the Sankranti season. But the season is already packed with star heroes like Pawan, Mahesh and Prabhas. Pawan Kalyan is arriving on 12th January while Mahesh and Prabhas are coming with their films on 13th and 14th respectively.
It is not advisable to hit the screens during such heavy competition. All these films have already started giving regular updates on shootings but sources say that Koratala is trying to convince Megastar and the production team to release it during the Pongal season. Many experts are wondering why Koratala is hesitating to release the film in October. Despite the threat from Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’, there is a huge talk in the industry that ‘RRR’ will be postponed as such a huge film needs a grand release. People claim that he wants to avoid a clash with Balakrishna’s ‘Akhanda’ but what good will it do if he decides to compete with Prabhas, Mahesh and Pawan?
On the other hand, Megastar Chiranjeevi started working on ‘Lucifer’ remake recently. Chiru’s work in ‘Acharya’ is yet to be completed as there are a few combination shots with Charan and a song left to shoot. The filming of these scenes depends on the dates allotted by Megastar and Mega Power star. We need to see how Chiru adjusts his dates whilst working on ‘Lucifer’. There are no updates from this film. A small teaser was released last year and the first came out before summer which got a decent response. We need to wait and see what happens next.
‘Acharya’ has Pooja Hegde will be seen as his romantic interest of Charan while Kajal is the heroine of Chiranjeevi. Sangeetha will give a special appearance and veteran composer Mani Sharma is working on the music. The film also includes noted actors like Sonu Sood and others playing crucial roles.
