Karthi on Age Gaps: Focus on Story, Not Years

Age gaps between leading men and their female co-stars have sparked widespread debate recently, especially when senior stars like Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna are paired with actresses decades younger. Even actors in their 40s, such as Ranveer Singh and Ravi Teja, often face criticism for similar on-screen pairings.
However, Tamil star Karthi believes the concern is overstated. He emphasizes that audiences should focus on characters and storytelling rather than real-life age differences. “It’s just an on-screen pairing, and we move on,” he remarked.
Karthi shared his thoughts while promoting his upcoming release Annagaru Vostaru, starring alongside the younger Krithi Shetty. Thanks to his youthful appearance, Karthi largely escapes criticism, even when paired with Krithi, who is 25 years his junior.
Telangana CM Revanth Reddy Doubles CMRF Medical Aid

The Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) serves as a crucial financial resource connecting the CM to the public, providing assistance to the poor and needy during medical emergencies or other urgent situations.
While some chief ministers have been criticized for underutilising the fund, Telangana CM Revanth Reddy has taken a proactive approach. Over the past two years, up to December 6, 2025, the CMRF has disbursed an unprecedented ₹1,685.79 crore in medical support, setting a new benchmark in public welfare.
This represents a significant increase compared to the previous average annual expenditure of ₹450 crore during 2014–2024, with the fund now providing nearly ₹850 crore per year. Of the total amount disbursed over the past two years, ₹1,152.10 crore went toward reimbursement of medical bills, benefiting 3,76,373 patients. Additionally, 27,421 individuals received medical treatment through Letters of Credit (LOCs) for free treatment, amounting to ₹533.69 crore.
Compared to the year-on-year average under the KCR government, Revanth Reddy has nearly doubled the fund’s impact, directly helping thousands of families across Telangana.
Amaravati to Get First Centralised CAG Office

The resurgence of the NDA government in Andhra Pradesh has given new momentum to the Amaravati capital region, and the capital project is beginning to take shape. Following recent developments where 25 banks and central financial organisations held foundation ceremonies in Amaravati, a major central office is now set to establish its presence in the city.
Union Minister Pemmasani Chandrashekhar confirmed that the new Comptroller & Auditor General (CAG) office will soon come up in Amaravati, with principal approval already granted.
At the request of the Andhra Pradesh government, the Office of the CAG has issued administrative sanction for the construction of a state-of-the-art facility on a 2.05-acre plot already allocated in the capital. This marks a significant milestone in strengthening Amaravati’s administrative infrastructure.
While other major metropolitan cities have multiple CAG offices to support administrative duties, Amaravati will now host its first centralised CAG office. This development is expected to play a key role in the growth of the unified Andhra capital, which is also anticipated to receive its gazette notification in Parliament in the near future.
Engineering Student Murdered by Girlfriend’s Family in Telangana

A second-year engineering student was brutally killed by his girlfriend’s family after being allegedly lured to their home under the pretext of discussing marriage in Sangareddy district, Telangana.
The victim, Jyothi Sravan Sai, was pursuing a B.Tech in Computer Science at St. Peter’s Engineering College, Maisammaguda, and was staying in a rented room in Qutbullapur. He had been in a relationship with 19-year-old Sreeja from Isukabavi, Beeramguda.
According to Ameenpur Circle Inspector Naresh, Sreeja’s family had repeatedly warned Sravan to end the relationship, strongly opposing the couple’s marriage plans. On the day of the incident, Sreeja’s parents reportedly called him to their home to “talk about marriage.”
When he arrived, Sreeja’s parents, along with her mother, allegedly attacked him, beating him with a cricket bat. Sravan sustained severe head injuries and multiple fractures to his legs and ribs. He was rushed to a private hospital in Kukatpally, where doctors declared him dead.
Ameenpur Police have registered a murder case and recovered the cricket bat used in the assault. The crime scene has been documented, and the body sent for postmortem examination. Investigators are probing the exact motive behind the attack and whether additional family members were involved.

LV Gangadhara Sastry Slams Rajamouli Over Lord Rama Remarks

LV Gangadhara Sastry, the renowned singer and spiritual leader known for his Bhagavad Gita movement, recently voiced strong criticism against filmmaker S. S. Rajamouli over the director’s past remarks about Hindu deities. Rajamouli had reportedly described Lord Rama as “boring” and suggested that Lord Krishna had “many girlfriends,” comments that have been circulating widely online.
Responding sharply, Sastry said, “People speak about Lord Rama and Lord Krishna according to their level of understanding. Before commenting, one must learn. If we die, who remembers us? Then how is Lord Rama remembered even after millions of years if he was truly boring? Such irresponsible statements should never be made. Rajamouli should not have spoken when he clearly knows nothing about them.”
He also contrasted Rajamouli with the filmmaker’s father, Vijayendra Prasad, noting, “Vijayendra Prasad spoke about Lord Hanuman because he has actually read the scriptures.”
Sastry issued a stern warning regarding any commercial exploitation of Lord Rama in films without genuine belief, stating in Telugu, “Maamoolugaa raalavu dantaalu,” meaning “your teeth won’t remain as they are,” implying that there will be consequences.
His remarks have reignited debate over Rajamouli’s interpretations of Hindu deities and the responsibility of influential filmmakers when discussing religious icons.
Seattle Indian Restaurant Thanksgiving Feast Sickens 35

A special “Thanksgiving feast” served by a Seattle Indian restaurant has reportedly sickened 35 people, according to King County Public Health.
Kanishka Cuisine of India, located in downtown Seattle, offered a “Fusion Thanksgiving Feast” for the holiday. Beginning November 28, a day after the meal, dozens of customers reported gastrointestinal symptoms, including diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, fatigue, headaches, and body aches.
No employees reported illness, and officials have not pinpointed a specific food item. However, King County Public Health noted that the symptoms are consistent with illnesses caused by bacterial toxins—dangerous substances that can develop when food is stored at unsafe temperatures.
The outbreak appears to have subsided, but investigations are ongoing. During an inspection on December 2, authorities noted several potential contributing factors, including limited kitchen space, inadequate equipment for handling large-volume holiday meals, improper cooling practices, and foods not kept at safe temperatures. A follow-up inspection on December 4 confirmed continuing issues with food cooling.
During the restaurant’s temporary closure, unsafe food was discarded, and staff underwent retraining in safe food-handling procedures. Kanishka Cuisine of India had previously earned an “excellent” rating in the county’s food safety grading system.

Her lifted leg and angled posture introduce a sense of upward motion, as if the image captures a moment suspended between balance and allure. Negative space frames her silhouette, emphasizing both stillness and movement, while the contrast deepens the photograph’s rhythm and guides the eye along each carefully shaped line.
The black underlayer acts as a strong tonal anchor, grounding the composition with clarity and purpose. Delicate highlights contour her figure, creating a portrait that celebrates discipline, form, and the expressive strength of minimalism.
