Young Indian female cricketer takes everyone by surprise with a stunning catch

Indian female cricketer Harleen Deol became the star of the first T20 played with England on Friday by pulling off an outstanding catch at the boundary line to get rid of England’s Amy Jones.

Despite India losing the match by 18 runs, fans have something to cheer about with her brilliant piece of fielding. Indian greatest Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar, former cricketer VVS Laxman and commentator Harsha Bhogle were in awe of the female cricketer.

The stunning moment happened during the England innings. When Amy Ellen Jones hit the ball for the boundary, Harleen Deol, who was standing at the long-off, caught hold of the ball and threw it in the air after losing the balance, but finished the catch by jumping onto the field.

After she took the stunning catch, the other players rushed towards her and congratulated her for her heroics on the field. The video went viral after the England Cricket board shared the video on Twitter.

Netizens have showered praises on the 23-year-old player for her brilliant fielding on the field to send Jobe back to the pavilion who was looking dangerous. A few former players had also lauded the young player for her heroics in the first T20 against the English team.

“As good a catch one will ever see on a cricket field, from Harleen Deol. Absolutely top class,” cricketer-turned-commentator VVS Laxman wrote on Twitter sharing the video of Harleen Deol.

“That was a brilliant catch @imharleenDeol. Definitely the catch of the year for me!,” Indian legendary player Sachin Tendulkar said.”As good a catch as any you will see @imharleenDeol. Brilliant,” Harsha Bhogle tweeted.

In their quota of 20 overs, England has put up a score of 177 by losing seven wickets, with the heroics of Natalie Sciver and Amy Ellen Jones, who scored 55 and 43 runs respectively.

India has lost the match by 18 runs in Duckworth–Lewis method as the game was impacted by rain. When India was 53 with the loss of 3 wickets, the game was stopped due to rain and was suspended. England was declared a winner in the DLS method.

One politician who is sure to get elevated in the Congress Party under new PCC chief Revanth Reddy is Mulug MLA Seetakka aka Anasuya Devi. Her proximity to Revanth Reddy was all too visible when she accompanied him in his rally from Peddamma temple to Gandhibhavan on the day of his taking charge as PCC chief.

According to Gandhi Bhavan sources, Revanth has reportedly asked her to take the responsibility of handling the whole of the coal belt. She will be given the responsibility of coordinating the elections to the coal belt. If and when it happens, she will find herself pitted against Kalwakuntla Kavitha, who has been entrusted with the responsibility of winning the coal belt trade union election. Even if she wins or loses, Sitakka will get huge media coverage and will catapult herself to the top.

If sources are to be believed, she will be given the post of the honorary president of the Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC) for the Telangana state. She will now tour places like Mandamarri, Bhupalpalli, Illendu, Kothagudem, Manuguru, Godavarikhani, Chennur and other places. Interestingly, Sitakka has wide contacts in these areas in her earlier avatar as an underground activist of the outlawed Maoist Party.

In fact, the Congress did very well in the coal belt in the 2018 assembly elections winning Bhupalpally, Bhadrachalam, Illendu, Kothagudem and Pinapaka I the coal belt area. Unfortunately, all the winning MLAs have defected to the TRS. Thus, Sitakka will try to exploit the anti-TRS sentiment, which is already there in these areas. She will go to the voters, especially those working in the coal belt and ask them to teach a lesson to the turncoats.

Coal belt employees too are unhappy with the TRS, which has won the last elections. They feel that the elected TRS leaders did nothing for the welfare of the employees during their current term. The employees are angry and opposition is building up for the TRS. Sitakka is seeking to exploit this anger and ensure an INTUC victory. If she manages to ensure a victory, her position in the party will become very strong. Let’s wait and see how things unfold for her.

The shooting started as soon as Pawan wrapped up ‘Vakeel Saab’ but the makers were forced to take a break due to the lockdown.

The shooting will be resumed soon and insiders say that the film is not going to have many songs. Hindi film ‘Pink’ had zero songs but Pawan’s ‘Vakeel Saab’ had around 5 songs which surprised many. News is that the makers of ‘AK’ remake are not going to take that route and stick to 2-3 songs in the entire film.

It was reportedly Trivikram Srinivas who suggested them not to have many songs as it would interrupt the flow of this action thriller. As we know, Trivikram is very close to the Sithara Entertainments banner which producing this high-budget film. Also, Trivikram is penning the dialogues for this film. Noted film critic Kathi Mahesh, who has been undergoing treatment at the Chennai branch of the Apollo Hospitals since last week has breathed his last today. He lost his life after his health deteriorated.Doctors, who treated Kathi Mahesh had confirmed the news that he lost his life on July 10, today in the hospital as his health condition didn’t support him.

Kath Mahesh, who hits the headlines often by making controversial comments against Hinduism and Hindu deities met with a deadly accident earlier on June 26 near the Gudur region of Andhra Pradesh’s Nellore district.He sustained severe injuries after his car met with an accident. His driver said that he didn’t wear a seat belt when the mashup took place and due to this he developed injuries and was shifted to a nearby hospital and then shifted to Chennai Apollo.

The Andhra Pradesh government came to his rescue and allotted Rs 17 lakh to his treatment. An order stating the same was issued by a special officer to the Chief Minister was issued. The letter to Apollo hospital said the amount will be settled once he is discharged from the facility.

23-year-old Army man Maruprolu Jaswanth Reddy, who hails from Bapatla mandal of Andhra Pradesh had made the ultimate sacrifice to save the motherland at the border and got martyred.

The funeral of the young Jawan was held in Bapatla. On the behalf of the Andhra Pradesh government, Home Minister Mekathoti Sucharita attended the funeral and handed over a cheque of Rs 50 lakh to Jaswanth Reddy’s family as announced by the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy earlier.

The Home Minister assured that the government will take care of Jawan’s family, who sacrificed his life for the country, and said, one of the brothers of Jaswanth will be given a government job.

The Deputy Speaker of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly Kona Raghupathi, district Collector Vivek Yadav, SP Vishal Gunni have also attended the last rites of the Jawan. They paid last tributes to the young Jawan Jaswanth Reddy, who was martyred at the fire exchange.

His funeral was held in the Dariwada Kothapalem village of Bapatla. Jaswanth Reddy’s last rites were held with full Military Honours. His family members and villagers took part in his last journey.

The young Army jawan breathed his last in the fire exchange at the Daddal village in the Sunderbani sector with the militants. He killed four militants and got martyred in the shooting.

At a very young age, he was selected to the 17 Madras Regiment of the Army in 2016 and was posted at the Nilagiri. Later, he was transferred to the Jammu and Kashmir area at the border.

Jaswanth Reddy’s family was left in deep sorrow and shock after they were informed about the sad news. He was martyred at the border when his family members and relatives wanted to get him married.

After being informed that his son was martyred, Jaswanth’s mother Venkateswaramma, father Srinivas Reddy and other family members were extremely shocked.

State Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, and Home Minister Mekathoti Sucharita have condoled the death of the young Jawan. CM Jagan announced Rs 50 lakh ex-gratia for the kin of the Jawan.

Indian ace spinner and former cricketer Harbhajan Singh and his better half Geeta Basra welcomed their second kid. The lovely couple was blessed with a baby boy. The veteran player announced the same on microblogging site Twitter with a post.”Blessed with a Baby boy Blue. Shukar aa Tera maalka,” he said.

“A new little hand for us to hold, his love is grand, precious as gold. A wonderful gift, so special and sweet. Our hearts are full, our lives complete. We thank the almighty for blessing us with a healthy baby boy,” Harbhajan Singh, popularly known as Turbanator said in a note.

“Both Geeta and the baby are doing well. We are overwhelmed with joy and would like to extend our gratitude to all our well-wishers, for their constant love and support,” Harbhajan Singh added.

The World Cup-winning player Harbhajan Singh tied the knot with Geeta Basra in October 2015. The couple welcomed their first child Hinaya Heer Plaha on July 27 in 2016.

Earlier on March 14, the couple announced the news of welcoming their second child with an Instagram post. The post’s caption reads: Coming Soon July 21 with a love emoji.

Harbhajan Singh made his international debut in the 50-over format and the longer format of the game, in 1998. He was included in the final squad of the 2001 edition of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia. He was the leading wicket-taker of the series with 32 wickets, including a hat-trick. He became the first bowler from India to make a hat-trick in Test format.

The ace spinner was a member of the Indian team that won the 2007 edition of the T20 World Cup, the inaugural edition, and the 2011 edition of the 50-over World Cup in India. The final was held at the Wankhede stadium.

Harbhajan Singh had represented various teams in the Indian Premier League(IPL) tournament. He led the Mumbai Indians team in 2011. In the same edition, MI won the trophy by cruising Royal Challengers Bangalore(RCB) in the finals.

The veteran ace spinner had claimed 417 wickets in the Test format, making him the third-highest wicket-taker after right-arm leg-spin bowler Anil Kumble and Haryana Hurricane, who took 619 and 434 wickets respectively.

The release dates which were announced during the start of this year completely went into the trash due to the lockdown. Now, the filmmakers are coming up with new release dates and producers are trying to release their films as soon as they can before the rumored third wave strikes.

If the latest news has anything to believe, the Akkineni brothers are all set to lock horns with each other during August. Akhil has been waiting to release his romantic comedy ‘Most Eligible Bachelor’ for a long time. If things went as planned, this film would have released during the summer of 2020 but it got postponed due to the virus. They thought of coming in June of 2021 but with the changed equations, sources claim that the film is going to hit the screens on 13th August. Dusky beauty Pooja Hegde plays the female lead in this youthful entertainer directed by Bommarillu Baskar. Gopi Sundar’s music has impressed the viewers already and Bunny Vas is producing it.

On the other hand, we have Naga Chaitanya who is also looking to release his ‘Love Story’ on August 7th. Sai Pallavi is the heroine in this movie which was directed by Sekhar Kammula. The songs of this film were already huge hits and everyone is eagerly waiting for it to hit the screens. Sekhar Kammula is on a roll with ‘Fidaa’ and ‘Love Story’ is also a romantic drama which is why the people are expecting some magical moments.

This means that the Akkineni brothers are going to release their films within a week. This may lead to a huge competition as per trade analysts. By now everyone with some political sense knows how the TDP was singularly responsible for the stunning victory of the TRS in 2018 elections. Everything looked gloomy for the TRS when the house was dissolved and elections were called for. In fact, the TRS went for early polls only because it realized that its popularity graph was falling very fast. But, the TDP jumped into the ring and allied with the Congress. This was enough for KCR to rake up Telangana sentiment.

He told the people that the TDP was making a backdoor entry by aligning with the Congress. The Telangana voter fell hook line sinker for this argument and voted him back to power with a resounding majority. This time again, it appears, the history is all set to repeat. The Congress seems to be making the same mistake all over again.

Revanth Reddy is from the TDP. He is also considered very close to Chandrababu Naidu. In fact, he was the only leader to be associated with Chandrababu Naidu in the infamous cash for vote scam. Even he left the TDP, Revanth had only praise and nothing but praise for Chandrababu Naidu. He never made a secret of his admiration for Chandrababu. Now that he is the PCC chief, there is great jubilation among the TDP cadres. In several places, TDP workers are planning to join the Congress in a big way.

All these will be exploited by the TRS, especially KCR, Harish and KTR. They have already begun screaming from housetops that the TDP was making a backdoor entry into Telangana politics through Revanth Reddy. There are indications that several of the former TDP would be given important positions in the Congress. Slowly but surely, they would be given key positions. The TRS feels that this will help them in raising up Telangana sentiment and help it in the elections. Already both Harish Rao and other leaders have begun talking about it.

Though the elections are quite far away, political activism has picked up a tremendous pace in Telangana. Events happening at break-neck speed in all major political parties. In the last one week there have been a slew of developments in Telangana.

Consider this. Ambitious and scheming Revanth Reddy was finally made the TPCC chief. This spurred a great amount of enthusiasm among the political parties. The young leaders and cadre became very active. The massive rally through the streets of Hyderabad and the flamboyance during the oath-taking are indications that Revanth means business. Not to be undone, the BJP followed it up with elevating their Reddy – G Kishan Reddy.

Hard-working and low-key Kishan Reddy has managed to impress both Modi and Shah and got a cabinet rank. Elevation of Kishan Reddy is being seen as a signal to the Reddy community in the state, who are desperately looking for a face. Kishan Reddy is being projected as the next CM by a section of the BJP.

At almost the same time, YS Sharmila too has thrown her hat in the ring for the leadership of the Reddy community in Telangana. She is invoking Rajanna Rajyam, the last of Reddy titans in Telugu political history. She is also trying to woo the Reddy community. Some of the key functionaries in her party are from that community. Suddenly, the competition for their share of Reddy pie has increased among the three parties.

Even as this is happening, one party that dominated the political scene for over 40 years, has died a silent death, unsung and unwept. The Telugu Desam has completely sunk with no possibility of floating again. It’s Telangana unit president himself resigned from the party and has joined the ruling TRS. With this, the TDP is gone never to return again in Telagnana. Ramana in all probability would be made the TRS candidate from Huzurabad assembly constituency, which will soon go to bypolls. He would be asked to take on locally powerful and hugely popular Eatala Rajender of the BJP.
