This actress roped in for a special song in Akhanda
Nandamuri Balakrishna‘s upcoming film ‘Akhanda‘ will resume its shooting next month as the government is allowing shoots with no restrictions. The film directed by Boyapati Srinu was supposed to release in the month of May. But the film couldn’t finish the shoot owing to the second wave of coronavirus.
Now, the latest update is that actress Lakshmi Rai is rumoured to be shaking a leg in a special song with Balayya in Akhanda. She co-starred with Balayya in the movie Adhinayakudu which was released a few years back.
It remains to be seen whether Lakshmi Rai, who has already done many item songs and special songs, will take another success into account with Akhanda.

Telangana Minister makes shocking comments on YSR!
The Irrigation Projects that are being constructed in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have resulted in a war of words between the ruling parties of the respective states. The leaders are dragging late YSR into the issue now.
Continuing the attack on the former Chief Minister of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh late Y.S. Rajashekhar Reddy, one more legislator from Telangana had made sensational comments on YSR.
Excise Minister of Telangana V. Srinivas Goud came down severely on the former Chief Minister and alleged that he had cheated Telangana and fake cases were filed against those who have fought for a separate state.
He leveled a serious allegation that YSR was responsible for P. Janardhan Reddy. He went on to say that Naxals, who were in favour of Telangana state were encountered in the disguise of talks.
Mr. Goud’s comments came a day after Telangana Roads and Buildings Minister, V. Prashanth Reddy accused YSR of showing discrimination towards Telangana and diverting the water to the Andhra region during his regime.
Star MAA bags upcoming biggest films in Telugu
Star MAA is one of the dominant channels in Telugu. Since its origin, the popular entertainment channel has been acquiring the satellite rights of many big projects and entertaining its viewers. When it comes to fetching good TRPs, the channel is always given tough competition to other channels in Telugu.
This time, Star MAA is gearing up to glue the Telugu audience to Televisions as they have bagged the television rights of nearly all the upcoming Tollywood biggies.
As per reports, the channel bought the rights of SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR, Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata, Naga Chaitanya’s Love Story, Akhil’s Most Eligible bachelor, Balakrishna’s Akhanda, Allu Arjun’s Pushpa, Nithiin’s Maestro, Ravi Teja’s Khiladi and Nani’s Tuck Jagadish.
This is not yet finished, the channel is in talks with other films as well and many more will join the list in the future. Seem like Star MAA is going to record some never before TRPs in the coming days.

No Chief Minister Pushed AP to backward, like Jagan Did: Chandrababu Naidu
TDP Chief and former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Nara Chandrababu Naidu, who is not leaving any stone unturned to target the ruling party and Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy did it yet again.
Launching a fresh attack on the Jagan government, Chandrababu Naidu opined that under Jagan’s government, the state is going in a backward direction and said, as a result, the investments, companies, and jobs are leaving the state, one after the other.
“Jagan’s evil ruling in the state started with the demolition of Praja Vedika. In the due course of two years, no new constructions took place, except for the demolitions,” Mr. Naidu said.
Drawing a comparison between the previous Chief Ministers and current Chief Minister, Chandrababu Naidu said, during their respective tenure, the ex CMs, did their part to develop the state, whereas, Jagan did nothing but taking the state in a backward state.
He once again brought the term Raja Reddy ruling used by the TDP leaders to describe the ruling in the state and said, instead of Ambedkar’s Constitution, the state is following Raja Reddy’s Constitution.
Director Koratala Siva quits Social Media
In the last couple of months, many celebrities have either taken some break from social media or have left it once and for all. Now, Tollywood’s acclaimed director Koratala Siva has announced that he is moving away from social media.
Taking to his Twitter handle, the Janatha Garage director has shared a note that he is quitting social media.
“I would like to let you know all that I’m moving away from social media. I’ve had my share of moments in this space but it is time I move away,” he wrote.
He further added, “I will always stay in touch with you all through our media friends. We will continue to interact. The medium changes but our bond doesn’t.”
On the work front, Siva Koratala is helming Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film ‘Acharya’. He also announced his next film with NTR, which will go on floors soon.

Microsoft adds Android apps to Windows 11 using Amazon’s appstore
Washington: American tech giant Microsoft, during its Windows 11 launch event on Thursday revealed that it is bringing Android apps to the platform. They will run natively on Windows 11 and will be downloadable from Amazon’s Appstore, via the new Windows Store that’s included in the operating system.
According to the Verge, apps will be listed in the new Windows Store, and Microsoft is also partnering with Intel to use its Intel Bridge technology to make this a reality. Android apps on Windows 11 can be pinned to the taskbar or snapped alongside traditional Windows apps.
Android apps on Windows 11 are an obvious answer to Apple’s progress with its M1 chips and running iOS apps on macOS. While there are many web equivalents to mobile apps, they’re often lackluster, and certain apps like Snapchat, Ring, Venmo, Roomba, and the majority of home automation apps aren’t available on the web.
Microsoft demonstrated apps like TikTok running on Windows 11 during the launch event. The Windows store that Microsoft showed listed Ring, Yahoo, Uber, and others, so likely there will be full access to Amazon’s Appstore.
It’s not immediately clear as to how many existing devices will support Android apps with Windows 11, as hardware will need to support Intel Bridge technology.
This surprise announcement followed Microsoft’s original plans to let Windows developers rework their existing Android apps for Windows in 2015. Project Astoria, as Microsoft labeled it, was a method to try to convince developers to port apps and make it easier to do so.
The plan eventually fell apart less than a year later, with Microsoft admitting that having “two bridge technologies to bring code from mobile operating systems to Windows was unnecessary.”
The company had been toying with the idea of running Android apps on Windows natively for years, and it had been experimenting with the idea of listing Android apps in the Windows store just ahead of the Windows 10 launch. Instead, Microsoft pushed ahead trying to convince developers to adopt its failed Universal Windows Platform.
Android app integration directly into Windows is a significant shift, especially as the company has been favouring a different method to bridge the gap between Android and Windows. Microsoft has been embracing Android as the mobile version of Windows for years, and now those same mobile apps will run directly in Windows 11.
