మా అధ్యక్ష ఎన్నికల హీట్ పెరుగుతోంది. ఈ ఎన్నికల్లో ప్రకాష్ రాజ్ ప్యానల్ నిన్న మీడియా సమావేశం ఏర్పాటు చేసింది. ఈ సందర్బంగా నాగబాబు వారికి మద్దతు ప్రకటించారు. ఆ సమయంలో నాగబాబు మా మసకబారి పోతుంది. గతంలో ఉన్నట్లుగా పరిస్థితులు లేవు. ఇటీవల కార్యవర్గం సంతృప్తికర పనితీరు కనబర్చలేదు అంటూ వ్యాఖ్యలు చేశాడు. ఆ వ్యాఖ్యలను ప్రస్తుత అధ్యక్షుడు సీనియర్ నటుడు నరేష్ ఖండించాడు. నాగబాబు అలా మాట్లాడటం చాలా బాధను కలిగించిందని అన్నాడు.
ఎన్నికల సమయంలో ఎవరైనా మీడియా సమావేశం ఏర్పాటు చేయవచ్చు. కాని గత కార్యవర్గంను దూషించే విధంగా అవమానించే విధంగా మాట్లాడటం ఏమాత్రం సబబు కాదు. నేను అధ్యక్షుడిగా ఉన్న సమయంలో ఎన్నో అభివృద్ది కార్యక్రమాలు నిర్వహించాం. తీసుకున్న ప్రతి నిర్ణయాన్ని ఇండస్ట్రీ పెద్దల దృష్టికి తీసుకు వెళ్లాము. దాదాపుగా 728 మంది మా సభ్యుల ఇళ్లకు తిరిగి వారికి జీవిత భీమా చేయించాము. ఇప్పటికే 16 మంది సభ్యులకు ఆ భీమా అందింది. మా సభ్యుల పెన్షన్ ను 3 వేల నుండి 6 వేలకు పెంచాం. ఇంకా మా సభ్యత్వ రుసుము లక్ష నుండి 90 వేలకు తగ్గించాం. ఇలా ఎన్నో కార్యక్రమాలు చేసిన తమపై విమర్శలు చేయడం బాగాలేదని నరేష్ ఆవేదన వ్యక్తం చేశాడు.
Telangana ministers vent ire at YSR, Jagan over Krishna row
HYDERABAD: Telangana Ministers lambasted the Andhra Pradesh government on Friday for ‘illegally’ diverting Krishna river waters for its own use. While Excise Minister V Srinivas Goud termed late Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy as ‘nara roopa raakshasudu’ (humanoid monster), Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy said that YS Sharmila’s Rajanna Rajyam meant a prolonged illegal diversion of Krishna water to AP. Agriculture Minister Niranjan Reddy said that the people of Telangana would not tolerate AP’s ‘goonda giri’.
Speaking to the media in Delhi, Srinivas Goud alleged that AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was no different from his father YSR. He recalled that YSR had filed cases against several separate Statehood activists. “The YSR government branded activists as Naxalites and killed them in encounters,” he alleged. Srinivas Goud went on to claim that YSR was responsible for the death of former Congress leader P Janardhan Reddy.
Jagadish Reddy, while speaking to reporters in Hyderabad, alleged that the Opposition parties in the State were supporting the AP government in their ‘illegal water-diversion endeavours’. “Why are Telangana Congress leaders not speaking up against YSR even after his death? Do they still want to be slaves to AP leaders,” the Energy Minister asked.
He said that Jagan Mohan Reddy had no intention of supporting AP farmers. “If Jagan Mohan Reddy heeded the advice of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, both the Telugu states could have shared the Krishna waters amicably,” he said. Speaking at Mahbubnagar, Agriculture Minister S Niranjan Reddy warned AP leaders that they would be buried if they proceeded with the “illegal” construction of irrigation projects.
Nayanthara to make B-town debut with director Atlee?
It is known that much-acclaimed director Atlee is all set to direct Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan for a Hindi film. It is reported that the film is expected to go on floors later this year or early next year.
Now, the latest buzz in B-town is that one of the leading heroines in the South is all set to make her Bollywood debut with this film.
As per reports, Lady Superstar Nayanthara has been approached to play the female lead. It is heard that she had given her nod to romance King Khan in Atlee directorial. An official confirmation regarding Nayanthara’s inclusion is yet to be made. The director is currently busy with the pre-production work for the film.
On the other hand, Nayanthara will next be seen in Rajinikanth’s Annaatthe and Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal. Her upcoming film Netrikann is slated to release on OTT in July.

KCR vows to help HMRL sail through pandemic
HYDERABAD: Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao responded positively to L&T’s request for help for the Hyderabad Metro Rail, which has been incurring losses due to the pandemic.CEO and MD of L&T SN Subrahmanyam and other officials met the Chief Minister at Pragathi Bhavan on Friday and discussed the status of HMRL. Informing the Chief Minister that the Metro rail was running in losses due to the lockdown, the representatives of the L&T sought help from the State government. Rao responded positively to their request, a press release from the Chief Minister’s Office stated.
The Metro Rail has been offering safe transportation to the people of Hyderabad amid the pandemic, the Chief Minister said, adding that innovative measures could be introduced to run the Metro services more effectively. He said that the State government would extend its cooperation to the HMRL in this regard. The Chief Minister directed the officials concerned to conduct a review meeting on the requests made by the L&T representatives and submit a report to the officials of the CMO.

Minister KTR has set up Covid Command Center to tackle possible third wave
Telangana IT and Municipal Minister KTR has inaugurated a Covid Command Centre in the premises of the Indian Institute of Health and Family Welfare in Vengala Rao Nagar, Hyderabad. Minister KTR said that this control room gives Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML)-based insights on Covid cases.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Chief Secretary to Government Somesh Kumar, Industries Principal Secretary Jayesh Ranjan, Health Secretary Rizvi, Disaster Management Secretary Rahul Bojja, Indian Institute of Health and Family Welfare Director Alugu Varshini. Minister KTR was of the view that these command centres would be useful to the administrative system by maintaining all the data related to Covid-19. Also, he said that these command centres will help people to seek medical guidance.
Sithara’s big fat offer to Dhanush
Sithara Entertainments are on the verge of setting up multiple A-lister projects. The noted production house is presently in talks with many top heroes regarding a potential collaboration.

Kathi Mahesh met with an accident near Nellore
Actor-film critic Kathi Mahesh reportedly met with an accident at Chandrasekharapuram highway in Kodavalur Mandal of Nellore district.
As per reports, Mahesh’s car collided head-on with a lorry on the national highway and he suffered minor injuries in the crash. He was rushed to the Nellore Medical hospital for treatment. Reports suggest that the airbags of the car opened in time and helped him to avoid major injuries. More details are awaited.

MP Raghurama’s counter letter to MP Vijaysai Reddy’s letter
YCP MP Vijay Sai Reddy penned a letter to the Speaker of the Loksabha Om Birla seeking disqualification of Narsapuram MP Raghurama Krishnamaraju. Against this backdrop, MP Raghurama Krishnamaraju also penned a counter letter to the Speaker of the Loksabha.
In the letter, he mentioned that he is not indulged in any anti-party activities and just reminding CM Jagan of the promises he has made during the elections. MP Raghurama said that he has violated party discipline nowhere and hence the disqualification is not possible.
On the other hand, Parliamentary affairs experts are of the opinion that Raghuram Krishnamaraju cannot be disqualified as he has not defected from the party.
Makers of Prabhas-Nag Ashwin’s film are hiring engineers now!
Prabhas is all set to team up with Mahanati director Nag Ashwin for his next movie, which is tipped to be a pan-Indian multilingual science-fiction project.
While the Baahubali actor is busy with other commitments, the young director is said to be arranging everything to take the film to production. The latest we hear is the makers of the film are hiring talented and experienced engineers in many wings like mechanical, electronics and robotics.
Although it sounds surprising, the director is said to be needing them to design the sets and futuristic vehicles used in the film. Engineers have been invited through social media.
Deepika Padukone has been roped in as the leading lady for this yet-untitled film, making her Telugu debut. The makers also roped in Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan for an important role. The film is backed by Tollywood’s prestigious production house, Vyjayanthi Movies.
