Harish Shankar collaborating with Aha for a project
A long while back, Allu Arjun revealed that star director Harish Shankar would be collaborating with Aha platform for a web entertainment project.
Now, Harish Shankar seems to be conceptualising a project for Aha. He will not be directing the project or pen the story either. He will be presenting it.
Apparently, Harish liked the story narrated by Dasaradh who previously directed Mr. Perfect and Greeku Veerudu. He has already picked a budding director for the project.
Dasaradh will be providing the story and a budding director will direct the film while Harish will be presenting the project.
The film will be available for streaming on Aha Video. More details about the same will be out once the regular shoot commences.
Raj Kundra reacts sharply to an old video of ex-wife Kavita’s claims on Shilpa shetty
Actress Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra made headlines when he reacted to an old interview of his ex wife Kavita speaking about Shilpa Shetty. In the old video which is going viral, Kavita blamed Shilpa Shetty for her failed relationship with Raj. However, Raj Kundra reacted sharply by dismissing her claims and instead pointed out that it was due to her infidelity the relationship ended and he later moved on.
He expressed that his ex wife Kavita was having an affair with his sister’s husband when they were residing in London. Kundra asserted that she would get paid ‘thousands of pounds’ for the interviews to speak against Shilpa Shetty. And for the very reason he couldn’t reach his daughter, who was just 40 days old during the period of their separation.
Speaking to a media portal he said, “We were living in one house with my mum, dad and my sister and her husband had moved over from India to try and settle in the UK. She grew very close to my ex brother in law spending more and more time with him especially when I was out on business trips”.
He added that his family and even their driver would say they felt something fishy about his ex wife’s relationship.
Raj and Kavita got married in 2003 and were divorced in 2006. Later Raj married Shilpa in 2009 and at present have two children.
Even Kamal Hassan gives up on Indian 2 now
Indian 2 is making the headlines for all the wrong reasons. The project is stalled and the chances of it being resumed are getting worse every passing week.Initially, Kamal Hassan took up the mediator role and tried to find common ground between Shankar and Lyca Productions who are waging a legal battle. But his efforts yielded nothing. Shankar did not evince interest in the project.
Kamal seems to have come to a conclusion that taking Indian 2 onto the floors in the near future is practically impossible. So, he has given up on the project.
Kamal is now moving onto Vikram which will be directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. He has asked the makers to plan the first schedule of the film as early as possible.
Meanwhile, even Shankar seems to be fully focused on RC15 now. As things stand, Indian 2 is dead rubber.
Prabhas prioritises Salaar shooting over Adipurush
We know Pan-India star Prabhas is currently starring in three big budget films – Radhe Shyam, Adipurush and Salaar. While Radhe Shyam is almost completed except for some patchwork, the remaining two films are at different stages of production.
With the second wave of Covid-19, the shootings of both films came to a standstill. However, with now situations coming under control, the makers of ‘Adipurush’ are gearing up to resume the shoot in Mumbai from this month only.
But, the latest update is that Prabhas will not join the shoot of ‘Adipurush’ till in August or September. As per reports, Prabhas wants to complete the shoot of Prashanth Neel’s ‘Salaar’ first. He even asked the director to plan to begin the shoot next month.
Meanwhile, Om Raut, director of Adipurush will be shooting the sequences related to Saif Ali Khan who plays Lankesh in the film. The Baahubali actor wants to wrap up the major part of Salaar before he joins the sets of mythological drama.
These Heroines are reluctant to reduce pay although no big hits
It is a known fact that heroines, who are having big hits in their career, demand more remuneration to sign any new projects. However, a few actresses, who failed to register some big hits on their name, are also said to be demanding more pay in recent times.
As per reports, Bubbly beauty, Raashi Khanna is said to be demanding not less than Rs 1 Cr lately. The actress took Rs 75 lakh for the Sai Dharam Tej starrer Prati Roju Pandage. Other than Tholi Prema in 2018, there are not many films that made noise at the box office, in which she acted.
Raashi currently has ‘Pakka Commercial’ with Gopichand and ‘Thank You’ with Naga Chaitanya. Besides these films, the actress also has a busy lineup in Tamil, Malayalam as well as a couple of Hindi projects.
Another young actress Mehrene Kaur Pirzada is also on the same page. Although she had no big hits in recent times, the F2 beauty is said to be quoting Rs 50 lakh for her with director Maruthi. The makers are currently holding talks with the actress and they may close the deal anywhere between 40-45 lakhs.
Alia Bhatt’s special favour to Rajamouli
Bollywood diva Alia Bhatt is one of the top-billed actresses in the Indian film industry. She usually charges in upwards of Rs 10 crores per project. But Alia has has altered her way for Rajamouli and here is the story behind the same.
Apparently, Alia is working on RRR on call sheet basis. She is charging in the range of Rs 50 lakhs per day. Not often do we see top actresses like Alia working on per-day-pay basis.
Well, Alia had previously revealed that it is her dream to work with Rajamouli and she seems to be going the extra mile to collaborate with the ace filmmaker. Rajamouli could be the only reason why she agreed to work on call sheet basis and set aside her usual remuneration demands.
Alia will be allotting a total of 10-14 days for RRR and will be pocketing Rs 5-7 crores for the same.
The talented actress still has to shoot a minor portion and will be flying to Hyderabad whenever the shoot resumes.
Kriti Sanon hopes to work with Mahesh Babu again
Kriti Sanon made a sparkling debut in Tollywood with Mahesh Babu’s 1 Nenokkkadine. The actress later shifted her base to Mumbai and turned busy in Tollywood.
In her recent interaction, Kriti expressed her interest to work with Mahesh Babu again.
