Siddu Jonnalagadda’s Musical Love Story Releases October 17

Share

The musical love entertainer Telusu Kada, starring Siddu Jonnalagadda, Srinidhi Shetty, and Raashii Khanna, is all set to release on October 17th. Produced by People Media Factory and directed by Neeraja Kona, the film has already built anticipation through two songs and a teaser, with the trailer launch imminent.

Although this is Neeraja Kona’s directorial debut, she brings a wealth of industry experience, having worked as a costume designer for nearly 100 films. “I’ve been in the industry for 12 years; that’s been my school of learning,” she shares. Neeraja also credits Nithiin for suggesting Siddu for the lead role after she pitched the idea during the trailer launch of Puli Meka.

Describing the essence of Telusu Kada, Neeraja says, “It’s a love story that delves into the emotional journey between two people. While it’s a romance, it also explores emotional complexity. The story is character-driven, with three strong, authentic characters that the audience will resonate with.”

Neeraja emphasizes that her storytelling is not defined by gender. “Whether a story is written by a man or a woman doesn’t matter. What matters is how honestly it’s told. My goal was to create a genuine narrative. I hope Telusu Kada is remembered as a film by a good filmmaker, not just a woman director.”

She praises her lead actor, saying, “Siddu has a unique perspective that elevated the writing. He brings a fresh dimension to the story and is an incredible performer. His mannerisms and screen presence add depth to the film.”

Both female leads, Srinidhi and Raashii, also deliver impactful performances. “Srinidhi plays Raaga, a complex character, and her experience in films like KGF and Hit 3 really helped her bring depth. Raashii portrays Anjali, a uniquely written character, and she has performed brilliantly,” Neeraja adds.

The director concludes by expressing gratitude to the producers, TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad, for their unwavering support in bringing this heartfelt film to the screen.

Bobby Deol: 30 Years of Bollywood Comebacks and Iconic Roles

Share

October 6, 2025, marks 30 years since Bobby Deol made his debut with Barsaat. Over three decades, his career has been a rollercoaster — soaring highs, challenging lows, and a remarkable comeback that could fill an entire film script. From being the chocolate-box hero and Dharmendra’s son to emerging as a versatile actor embracing shades of grey, Bobby has continually reinvented himself.

Debuting opposite Twinkle Khanna in Barsaat on October 6, 1995, Bobby quickly became a household name. He delivered hits like Gupt, Soldier, Bichhoo, and Ajnabee, but later faced a series of flops that tested his resilience. Reflecting on those tough times, Bobby said, “In your life, have you ever felt you’ve lost everything and have no one to help you? That’s exactly what I went through… a horrible place to be.” Despite the struggles, his determination and self-belief allowed him to rise again.

Bobby credits much of his comeback to the unwavering support of his family, especially his father Dharmendra, and the love of his fans. “The love they give me gives me so much energy… it’s something no one can understand unless you go through those bad times and come back,” he shared. He also acknowledged the support of superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, who played crucial roles during his career slump.

The turning point in his second innings came with Class of ‘83 in 2020, produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, where he played the dean of a police academy. He followed it with intense roles in Love Hostel, Aashram, and Animal, showcasing a darker and more complex side of his craft. Recently, he impressed audiences with his performance in Netflix’s The Ba**ds of Bollywood*, marking the directorial debut of Aryan Khan. Bobby said, “It felt great to be part of Aryan’s vision — young, eager, and passionate about storytelling.”

Reflecting on his journey, Bobby emphasized the lessons learned: “You can’t take things for granted. You have to respect everything in life and focus on what you truly love — for me, that’s my work.” Looking ahead, he remains optimistic about the future, with exciting projects in the pipeline like Anurag Kashyap’s Bandar, Alpha with Alia Bhatt, and Jan Nayagan with Tamil actor-politician Vijay.

From a star kid to a seasoned actor who has conquered multiple phases of his career, Bobby Deol’s 30-year journey is a testament to resilience, hard work, and the enduring magic of talent.

Mahesh Babu Stays Low-Key Ahead of GlobeTrotter Update

Share

Superstar Mahesh Babu, who’s usually spotted at Hyderabad airport multiple times a month, has recently taken a step back from his frequent travels. Known for his love of vacations—often taking seven to eight trips abroad every year—Mahesh also travels extensively for his film shoots.

However, in the last two months, the actor has stayed away from the paparazzi’s lens. After wrapping up a short schedule in Kenya for his upcoming film GlobeTrotter, Mahesh has been spending most of his time in Hyderabad, either at home or on local sets.

Director SS Rajamouli is reportedly planning to return to Kenya in December for the next major schedule of the film. With that in mind, Mahesh has cut down his public appearances and travel plans for now.

Meanwhile, Rajamouli’s team is preparing for a major reveal — the official title and first glimpse of the film are expected to drop next month.

GlobeTrotter (working title) stars Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra, and Prithviraj Sukumaran, and is one of the most anticipated pan-Indian films currently in production.

OpenAI Partners with AMD to Deploy 6 GW of AI Compute Power Using Instinct MI450 Chips

Share

OpenAI has entered into a landmark partnership with AMD to secure the massive computing power needed to train and run its next-generation artificial intelligence models. The agreement, announced on Monday, will see OpenAI deploy up to 6 gigawatts of GPUs, beginning with AMD’s Instinct MI450 chips in the second half of 2026.

OpenAI President Greg Brockman said the move addresses the growing global demand for AI infrastructure, noting that the industry faces “absolute compute scarcity” as usage of AI systems surges. He added that the partnership will help OpenAI prepare for the future “compute desert” looming over the industry.

CEO Sam Altman called the collaboration “a major step in building the compute capacity needed to realize AI’s full potential,” crediting AMD’s high-performance chip technology for enabling faster progress.

While OpenAI remains closely partnered with Nvidia, Brockman emphasized that expanding to AMD is crucial for scaling compute capacity. AMD’s CEO Lisa Su described the deal as a long-term strategic partnership and revealed that OpenAI has received a warrant for up to 160 million AMD shares, tied to performance milestones.

The market reacted sharply to the announcement, with AMD shares soaring more than 38% in early trading Monday.

Dacoit Release Postponed, December Films Lineup Updates

Share

In the Telugu film industry, one thing that never seems to change is the constant shuffle of release dates. Nowadays, it’s rare for a film to hit theaters without facing multiple delays. The latest film affected by this trend is “Dacoit.”

Adivi Sesh’s upcoming film has been under scrutiny due to prolonged shoots and repeated postponements, which have led to rising production costs. Originally scheduled for a December 25 release, “Dacoit” has now been pushed to February 2026.

With “Dacoit” stepping out of the December race, producer Ashwini Dutt has quickly announced Roshan Meka’s “Champion” to take the Christmas weekend slot.

Adding to the festive lineup, Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas is gearing up to release “Tyson Naidu,” directed by Saagar K Chandra of Bheemla Nayak fame. After a modest run with Kishkindhapuri, Bellamkonda is back with this much-anticipated film, which has been in production for over two years and is finally set to hit theaters this December.

Instagram Expands Interactive Map to India with New Privacy and Location Controls

Share

Instagram is rolling out its interactive Map feature in India, along with enhanced privacy indicators to help users better understand when their location is being shared.

The move follows earlier confusion during the feature’s initial launch in the U.S. and Canada in August, when viral posts incorrectly claimed that Instagram was automatically sharing users’ live locations. Instagram head Adam Mosseri had clarified that the feature only displays location information when users explicitly choose to share it.

To reinforce this, the platform is adding clearer visual cues. A new label at the top of the Map will indicate whether a user’s location is currently being shared or if device location is off. Additionally, users will see an indicator under their profile photo in the Notes tray on the DMs page when location sharing is disabled.

Instagram is also removing profile photos from posts on the Map after many users mistakenly believed these icons revealed their live locations. The update clarifies that location tags only show where content was posted, not a user’s current position.

A new educational prompt will now explain how location tags on Stories, Reels, and posts appear on the Map, with a preview feature showing how shared content will look before it’s published.

According to Instagram, the feature aims to make it easier for users to discover posts from specific places, coordinate meetups, and explore local content shared by friends and creators — all while maintaining control over their own location visibility.

Schengen to Launch Digital Entry/Exit System from October 12

Share

Beginning October 12, all Schengen countries will launch the long-awaited Entry/Exit System (EES), a major digital upgrade to border management. The new system will replace traditional passport stamping with biometric verification, allowing travellers to clear border control through automated scans of their passport, face, and fingerprints.

The EES, first announced in 2022, aims to make travel faster, safer, and more transparent. It will electronically record the time, place, and duration of each visit to the Schengen Area, helping authorities monitor the 90-day limit for short-term stays and identify overstayers or fraudulent identities. Data collected will remain valid for three years, streamlining travel for frequent visitors.

For travellers from non-EU countries—including the UK and India—this means faster, contactless processing at airports, seaports, and land borders. Once registered, subsequent entries into any Schengen country will require only a quick biometric scan, significantly reducing wait times.

In tandem with EES, Schengen visas are also going digital. From October 12, new visas will feature a secure barcode instead of the traditional sticker, simplifying verification and reducing the risk of document fraud. The transition to fully digital visas will be completed by April 2026, during which both sticker-based and barcode-based visas will coexist.

These initiatives, including the upcoming ETIAS travel authorisation system, reflect Europe’s broader move toward tech-driven border management. Travellers are advised to ensure complete and accurate visa applications, as errors or incomplete submissions could lead to rejection.

For Indian applicants, VFS Global has confirmed that only documents listed on the official checklist will be accepted for Schengen visa applications to Switzerland, helping ensure a smoother and more efficient process.

With impeccable comic timing and rib-tickling buddy moments, actors Priyadarshi, Prasad Behara, Rag Mayur, and Vishnu OI promise to keep audiences laughing throughout.

The film also features a stellar lineup of comedians, including Vennela Kishore, Satya, and VTV Ganesh, whose quirky dialogues and comedic flair bring the story to life. Standout performances by Vamshidhar Goud, Niharika NM, and Satya add charm and relatability to the film.

With music composed by RR Dhruvan, Mithra Mandali promises a refreshing cinematic experience blending humor, heart, and entertainment. Special cameo appearances by Anudeep KV and other notable actors are expected to create memorable moments, making this film a must-watch for audiences seeking a laughter-filled cinematic treat.

Indian Travellers Embrace Solo Trips During Festive Season, Driven by Global Cultural Festivals

Share

A significant shift is unfolding in the travel patterns of Indian tourists, with a growing number choosing solo trips over traditional family vacations — particularly during the festive season. New data from Atlys, a leading visa processing platform, reveals a sharp rise in individual travel, a strong millennial presence in visa applications, and increasing interest in global cultural festivals.

According to Atlys, between September and October 2025, over 71% of all visa applications were for solo travellers — signaling a marked departure from India’s customary family-oriented holiday habits. Among these, millennials accounted for 53.5%, followed by Gen Z (29.7%) and Gen X (14.6%).

Short-haul international destinations remain the top preference, with the UAE, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Sri Lanka emerging as favourites. These countries continue to attract Indian travellers for their affordability, ease of access, and visa convenience. In terms of demographics, 75.9% of applicants were men, while 21.6% were women.

“While family reunions have always defined India’s festive travel, we’re seeing a shift this year,” said Mohak Nahta, Founder and CEO of Atlys. “Many are taking advantage of long weekends to explore new destinations and immerse themselves in different cultures, transforming traditional holidays into enriching travel experiences.”Among international events, Germany’s Oktoberfest has become a major draw for Indian solo travellers. Atlys’ data shows that nearly two-thirds of Schengen visa applications during the festive window were for Germany — largely motivated by the festival’s growing popularity. The majority of these applicants were solo millennial men, underscoring India’s increasing appetite for experiential travel and cultural immersion.

“The alignment of long weekends with global festivals has encouraged more people to make international travel part of their festive plans,” Nahta added. “Indians are becoming more adventurous, planning their holidays with intention, and seeking cultural experiences abroad.”

Nagarjuna’s 100th Film: King100 Update

Share

Nagarjuna, a veteran of Telugu cinema with a career spanning over four decades, has delivered performances across a wide spectrum of genres, including romantic dramas, action thrillers, devotional films, and horror.

Apart from leading roles, he has also embraced significant supporting characters in other stars’ films, showcasing his versatility. While some of his recent films as a hero didn’t fare well at the box office, he made a strong comeback with Kuberaa, starring Dhanush, and Coolie, starring Rajinikanth. In Kuberaa, he portrayed Deepak, while in Coolie, he surprised audiences by playing Simon, an antagonist—a role he had never attempted before.

For his landmark 100th film, fans eagerly wondered whom he would collaborate with. Instead of opting for a big-name director, Nagarjuna chose Ra Karthik, a relatively new filmmaker who impressed with the Tamil film Nitham Oru Vaanam. Ra Karthik will helm a full-action entertainer starring Nagarjuna, who is also producing the film under his banner, Manam Enterprises.

The film’s launch was held quietly at Annapurna Studios with a simple pooja, and filming is already underway. The 100th project is tentatively titled #King100, with music reportedly composed by Devi Sri Prasad. Rumors suggest that the action-packed drama may be called Lottery King. Fans are eagerly awaiting more updates on this highly anticipated milestone film.
