Sajjala reaction over YSRCP clean sweep in the Municipal polls
YSRCP state general secretary Sajjala Ramakrishnareddy said that the results of the municipal elections are a testament to the rule of Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy.
Speaking to the media, Sajjala said the results were unprecedented in the history of the country. He said it was the first time in the country that people trusted a leader at this level.
However, he was incensed that TDP chief Chandrababu has abused the people of AP in the name of propaganda.
He criticized Babu saying that now he is sitting in Hyderabad with his younger brother Pawan Kalyan. He alleged that TDP has distributed a huge amount of money to win the polls.

Kamal Haasan condemned DMK allegations
Actor Kamal Haasan, president of the Makkal Needhi Mayyam party, has revealed that he is donating funds to the party by acting in movies and hosting the Bigg Boss shows.
He made it clear that he was not a ‘B-team’ to any political party. He participated in an event hosted by a national media channel. Speaking on the occasion, he said that he was not a B-team for the BJP and reacted strongly to the DMK leaders’ allegation that he is seeking advice from Modi and Shah.
“DMK is spending sleepless nights because of us. These comments are proof of that,” said Kamal. Kamal criticized their rival DMK and the ruling AIADMK for criticizing him. Kamal declared that even if he loses the election, he will not be sad and will always be among the people.
Inside News: Maha Samudhram vaguely inspired from hit Telugu film
Maha Samudhram, starring Sharwanand and Siddharth in the lead roles is presently in filming stage. Ajay Bhupathi of RX100 fame is helming the film and it is billed to be an intense love drama.
Now, we have an exclusive update on the project and it is an interesting one.
As per our sources, Maha Samudhram is vaguely based on hit Telugu film Nalugu Sthambalata which released back in 1982.
Nalugu Sthambalata is a love drama starring Naresh, Poornima, Pradeep in the lead roles. The Jandhyala directorial has a hard-hitting plot and is regarded as one of the breakthrough films back then.
Apparently, Ajay Bhupathi penned a script which shares close similarities with Nalugu Sthambalata. Much like the Jandhyala directorial, Maha Samudhram will also have four actors in lead roles namely Sharwanand, Siddharth, Anu Emmanuel, and Aditi Rao Hydari.
Interestingly enough, Maha Samudhram script was turned down by Naga Chaitanya, and Ravi Teja before Sharwanand picked it up.
The makers of Maha Samudhram had previously announced that the film will be releasing on 19th of August.

టీడీపీని అయినా, వైసీపీని అయినా, మరో పార్టీని అయినా గెలిపించేది, ఓడించేది ఓటర్లు మాత్రమే. ఆ విషయం సుదీర్ఘ రాజకీయ అనుభవం వున్న చంద్రబాబు తెలుసుకోకపోతే ఎలా.? చంద్రబాబు తిట్టిన తిట్లు బాగానే పనిచేశాయి.. అయితే, అది టీడీపీకి వ్యతిరేకంగా పనిచేయడం గమనార్హం. అటు వైసీపీ లాభపడింది. ఇంకోపక్క కొన్ని చోట్ల జనసేన ప్రతిపక్షంగా మారింది.
తిడితే జనం ఓట్లెయ్యరు.. తమకు ఓటెయ్యమని ప్రజల్ని నాయకులు, పార్టీలు అభ్యర్థించాలి. చంద్రబాబు ఈ వాస్తవం ఎప్పటికీ తెలుసుకోలేరు. ఎందుకంటే ఆయన లెక్క వేరే.
YSRCP unconquerable in Tirupati Municipal Corporation elections
The Tirupati Municipal Corporation is one of the key Municipalities in the recently held Civic body polls in Andhra Pradesh. The vote counting has started today and the Election Commission announced the results.
The Ruling YSRCP recorded a landslide victory in the municipal corporation of Tirupati (MCT) polls, by winning 48 out of the 50 divisions in the Corporation. However, the election was halted in one division going by the court orders.
The Political observers opined that the Tirupati Municipal polls will be a two-faced battle. Proving their analysis wrong, YSRCP won 48 and restricted the opposition TDP to one division. The other parties failed to win at least a single division.
YSRCP dominance in the Municipality polls shows the stronghold of YSRCP Tirupati MLA Bhumana Karunakar Reddy over the region. His son Bhumana Abhinay Reddy, who contested from the fourth ward of the corporation was given the responsibility of polls.
Bhumana Abhinay Reddy was elected unanimously from the ward he contested. The ruling YSRCP has claimed 22 Divisions unanimously. The election result shows the young blood in the party has also gained the trust of the voters.
MLA Bhumana Karunakar Reddy spoke to the media after the election result and credited the welfare schemes implemented by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for the party’s victory in civic body polls.
The vote-counting process was started today. The election results were announced in just three hours with a low vote percent. Tirupati Municipal Corporation clocked 52 vote percentage.
Is Star MAA behind Gemini TV changing game show title?
General entertainment pay television channel Gemini TV has roped in Tollywood Young Tiger Jr. NTR to host ‘Evaru Meelo Koteeswarulu’, a revamped version of Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu.
According to the grapevine, Gemini TV opted for ‘Evaru Meelo Koteeswarulu’ as the title for the game show after Star Maa reportedly refused to give Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu title to Gemini TV.
It is also said that Television Production company BIG Synergy that is producing the show intervened and settled issues between Star Maa and Gemini TV so that their show won’t get affected.
To foray further into the entertainment spectrum, Gemini TV acquired the telecast rights for the game show, with a change in the title. For NTR, Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu became Evaru Meelo Kotteswarudu.
Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu telecasted in Star MAA. The first three seasons including the inaugural season was hoisted by King Nagarjuna. The fourth season was hosted by Megastar Chiranjeevi.
NTR is returning to small screen space after four years and his fans are eagerly waiting for this. In 2017, NTR made his television debut with Bigg Boss Telugu Season 1.
On Saturday, NTR announced the news of shooting for the game show. ‘Waiting to meet you on the hot seat! #EvaruMeeloKoteeswarulu’ NTR captioned his post on Instagram.

Sekhar Kammula’s Love Story to register record openings!
Director Sekhar Kammula has joined forces with Akkineni Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi for romantic drama ‘Love Story’.The project is carrying positive buzz and high expectations since the project was announced.
The teaser and recently released lyrical song Saranga Dariya’, Telangana folk song from Love Story have made the audience wait for the film to release.
According to the trade analysts, Love Story has all the possibilities to witness record opening at the theatres. Quoting the example of Uppena, which attracted the audience to theatres with hit musical album, analysts are confident that Love Story will also repeat the same.
On several occasions, music and songs played a big role in increasing the hit chances of the film. As per the analysts, Love Story too falls under the category.
