చిన్నప్పటి నుంచి సాంస్కృతిక కార్యక్రమాల్లో చురుగ్గా పాల్గొనే గౌరి.. కొంతకాలం యాంకర్గా చేసింది. య్యూటూబ్ చానెల్ ‘చాయ్ బిస్కట్’లో పలు షార్ట్ మూవీస్లో నటించింది. అంతేకాదు, నిర్మలా కాన్వెంట్, మనలో ఒక్కడు, ఫిదా సినిమాల్లో చిన్న చిన్న పాత్రల్లో కనిపించింది.
దశాబ్దం పాటు కర్ణాటక సంగీతం, లలిత సంగీతం నేర్చుకుంది. పలు సంగీత పోటీ ల్లో పాల్గొని విజయం కూడా సాధించింది. అలా ‘బోల్ బేబీ బోల్ సీజన్–3’, ‘రేడియో సిటీ సూపర్ సింగర్ సీజన్–2’ టైటిల్స్ సొంతం చేసుకుంది. 2015లో ‘హోరాహోరీ’ సినిమాలో ఒక పాట పాడి, ఇండస్ట్రీలోకి ఎంట్రీ ఇచ్చింది. దానికి ‘మిర్చి మ్యూజిక్ అవార్ట్స్ బెస్ట్ డెబ్యూ సింగర్’ అవార్డుకు నామినేట్ అయ్యింది. సినిమాల్లోకి సింగర్గా ఎంట్రీ ఇచ్చినా, ఎప్పుడూ నటించలేదు. అయితే, డిగ్రీ చివరి సంవత్సరం చదువుతున్న రోజుల్లో, ప్రముఖ వ్యాపార సంస్థ ‘ట్రెండ్స్’ నిర్వహించిన అందాల పోటీల్లో పాల్గొంది. అప్పుడు గెలిచిన ‘మిస్ హైదరాబాద్ 2018’ టైటిల్ ఆమె జీవితాన్నే మార్చేసింది. ఉదయ్ గుర్రాల దర్శకత్వం వహించిన ‘మెయిల్’ చిత్రంలో లీడ్రోల్ అవకాశం దక్కింది. ఓటీటీ ‘ఆహా’లో విడుదలైన ఈ చిత్రంలో అచ్చమైన తెలంగాణ అమ్మాయిలా నటించింది.
మిస్ హైదరాబాద్ తుది పోటీల్లో ‘నువ్వు టైటిల్ విన్ అవుతావా? లేదా ఏదైనా మూవీలో యాక్ట్ చేస్తావా?’ అని ప్రశ్న సంధిస్తే.. టైటిల్ గెలిస్తే అన్నీ వస్తాయి కదా! అంటూ బదులిచ్చాను. ఇప్పుడు అదే నిజమైంది.
Janasenani likely to end ties with BJP?
Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena celebrated its seventh formation day on Saturday. Power Star founded Jana Sena on 14 March 2014, with a motto of “fight for the rights of each and every common person”.
On the occasion of the formation day, Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan held a meeting with the leaders of the Telangana wing of the party. During the meeting, Janasenani who is having an alliance with BJP made sensational comments against the party.
Addressing the meeting, Pawan Kalyan alleged that BJP dishonored Janasena by making comments against the party. With the T-BJP not respecting Janasena, we have supported TRS candidate in Graduate MLC elections Vani Devi, daughter of former Prime Minister P. V. Narasimha Rao.
After Janasena openly supported the TRS candidate in the graduate MLC, it became a much-talked-about issue. Since then, there is no response from either Janasena or Telangana BJP.
Without taking names, Pawan Kalyan mentioned how National Vice President of Bharatiya Janata Party D. K. Aruna said, there is no need for BJP to form an alliance with Janasena in Telangana and said they had no alliance with the party.
Pawan Kalyan’s comments came days after Janasena officially opted out of Tirupati by-polls. In an official statement, Pawan Kalyan said Janasena will not contest the polls but will support candidates fielded by BJP.
With Pawan Kalyan defending his decision on supporting TRS candidate in MLC Graduate elections, a section of Pawan Kalyan opined that he might end ties with the BJP. Janasena was forced to back out of polls in two interesting polls- GHMC and Tirupati by-polls which is irking Pawan fans and Janasena activists.

శివకు దర్శకుడిగా ఇది తొలి చిత్రం. ఇందులో ఆయన ఓ కీలక పాత్ర కూడా చేయనున్నారు. సముద్రఖని మరో కీలక పాత్రధారి. దర్శకుడు ఏఎల్ విజయ్ ఈ చిత్రానికి కథ–స్క్రీన్ప్లే సమకూరుస్తున్నారు. ఆయన దర్శకత్వంలో సాయిపల్లవి ‘కరు’ (తెలుగులో ‘కణం’) అనే సినిమాలో నటించారు. అలాగే ఏఎల్ విజయ్ దగ్గర అసిస్టెంట్గా డైరెక్టర్గా చేశారు పూజా కణ్ణన్. ఐదేళ్ల క్రితం ‘కారా’ అనే షార్ట్ ఫిలింలో నటించారు పూజ. మరి పూజా కణ్ణన్ వెండితెర అరంగేట్రం షురూ అవుతుందా? వేచి చూద్దాం.
No one attacked Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee: EC
The Election Commission has received a report that no one attacked Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee during her visit to Nandigram. The report to EC revealed that there was no clear evidence that she had been attacked.
Special election observers Vivek Dubey and Ajay Nayak submitted a report to the Election Commission to this effect. The report said there was no evidence that Mamata’s convoy was attacked.
She was in the midst of a tight police cordon at the time of the incident, the report said. EC sought a full explanation from Bengal Chief Secretary Alapan Bandopadhyay after the incident.
Special observers re-examined the scene before submitting their report to the EC. The chief secretary said in the report that Mamata had injured her leg as she hit the car door.
The incident took place on March 10 when Mamata Banerjee, who was nominated in Nandigram, was returning to Kolkata. Mamata alleged that she was attacked by four or five people.

Even Jagan can’t solve this political puzzle
The internal bickering in key constituency of Jammalamadugu in Kadapa district is turning out to be a major headache for AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Despite his best attempts, the group rivalry between sitting MLA Sudheer Reddy and former minister Ramasubba Reddy.
The rivalry between the families of Ramasubba Reddy and Adinarayana Reddy is legion and has a long history. However, Adinarayana Reddy, who was originally in the YSRCP, had shifted to the TDP and later to the BJP. Ramasubba Reddy, Adinarayana Reddy’s arch rival, resigned the TDP and joined the YSRCP. He felt there would be no problem in the YSRCP. But, sitting MLA Sudheer Reddy has begun opposing Ramasubba Reddy very strongly. He has been holding separate meetings without involving Ramasubba Reddy. Though YSRCP leader Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy repeatedly tried to counsel Sudheer Reddy, the latter is in no mood to listen. Even YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s intervention did not help the matters.
Finally matters became worse when an angry Ramasubba Reddy had put up rebel candidates in Pulivendula constituency. Due to the rebels, the overall performance of the YSRCP have been marred. The rebels have won in several places. Though Ramasubba Reddy has proved a point, Sudheer Reddy is not in a mood to relent.
Sundeep Kishan focusing on damage control!
Young Tollywood hero Sundeep Kishan went for a remark for his landmark 25th film, A 1 Express. The sports drama deals with several genres like love story, friendship, and nepotism in sports.
Sundeep Kishan is one of the producers of A1 Express. However, Sundeep’s landmark film didn’t do well at the box-office. The public talk had also dented Tollywood’s first Hockey-based Film performance at the box-office.
Learning from A1 Express’s experience, Sundeep Kishan is reportedly focusing on his upcoming projects and the hero is taking special care of the content of his next projects.

Jathi Ratnalu becomes highest grosser of 2021, beats Master in US collections
The recently released comedy entertainer Jathi Ratnalu written and directed by Anudeep KV started its theatrical run to a positive start. The promotional activities planned by the team played a big role in creating a positive buzz among the moviegoers.
According to the trade analysts, Jathi Ratnalu made Rs 5 crore on day one in Telugu states. The comic caper is also having a dream run in the US market.
It is said that Jathi Ratnalu entered the half-a-million club by collecting a gross of $507K. The film collected over $127K from 90 locations across the United States becoming the highest grosser of 20201.
The Anudeep KV directorial even surpassed Kollywood Star Ilayathalapathy Vijay starrer Master. The action drama recorded collections of $440K at the US Box-Office.
The unmatchable comedy-timing of the lead actors Naveen Polishetty, Priyadarshi, and Rahul Ramakrishna made the film more entertaining. Female lead Faria Abdullah’s performance is also receiving good reviews.
Super Star Mahesh Babu and Natural Star Nani heap praise on Jathi Ratnalu that hit the screens on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri. Nag Ashwin produced the rib-tickling comedy film.
Dravidian parties show national parties their place in Tamil Nadu
All the plans of the national parties like the BJP and the Congress to take roots in Tamil Nadu politics have come to naught. Despite the absence of stalwarts like Jayalalithaa and her bete noire Karunanidhi, the Dravidian parties are in no mood to yield any quarter to the national parties.
The BJP tried to play big brother in Tamil politics post Jayalalithaa’s tragic exit. But, things came to naught as AIADMK played hardball. Ditto with the Congress Party, which felt that it can demand more seats from the DMK as an alliance partner. As for the BJP, the AIADMK has told in no uncertain terms that it cannot give more than 20 seats to the saffron party. Thus, the BJP will have to be content with a small number of seats. As a result, the BJP is unable to accommodate key leaders like Khushbu and actress Gauthami. The Congress was given 41 seats in the past. But since its strike rate is very low, the DMK this time has offered only 25 seats. The Congress, which fretted and fumed for some time, had to finally give in.
At the end of the day, it is clear that despite the absence of Jayalalithaa and Karunanidhi, the Dravidian politics still pack a punch and their domination is set to continue. As of now, the two major national parties have no option but to play along.
Manchu Manoj supports VSP movement, calls privatisation decision injustice!
With the union government not in a mood to take a back step in Visakhapatnam Steel Plant(VSP) row, the Trade Unions of the steel plant have announced that an ‘indefinite strike’ will be called.
After the politicians extended their support to the protests, people from Tollywood are also coming out in support of the ongoing one after the other.
Young hero Manchu Manoj broke his silence on the protests and called the decision to privatise the plant injustice. When the private companies are coming forward to purchase the pant, why the government is unable to take the plant to profits.
“Why can’t the government change its guidelines on the privatisation issue. The protests to save the Vizag Steel Plant will have support from Tollywood”, Manchu Manoj was quoted as saying by media reports
It has to be noted that the other day, Manoj’s elder brother Vishnu too supported the protests and called the Vizag Steel Plant the pride of Andhra Pradesh.
However, the VSP Trade Unions are demanding the star heroes raise their voice against the centre’s decision and urged them to extend their support to the ongoing protest
