US court shocks Facebook with $ 650 million fine
America has given a shock to the leading social media company Facebook. Facebook has been ordered by a U.S. court to pay a hefty fine. The court ordered Facebook to pay $ 650 million. U.S. District Judge James Donato is hearing a petition filed in Illinois, the USA in 2015 alleging that Facebook violated personal privacy policy.
However, a lawyer said that Facebook was tagging the photo of Facebook users without their consent, as well as using biometric data. Nearly 16 lakh Facebook users have also filed claims in this regard.
U.S. District Judge James Donato, who conducted the trial, ruled that Facebook did not comply with the terms of the privacy policy. The court ordered Facebook to pay $ 650 million.

Box Office: Check registers a big drop on 2nd day
Creative filmmaker Chandra Sekhar Yeleti promised that Check would be a commercial entertainer with a unique plot but the film could only garner negative reviews and lukewarm response from the common audience.
The film opened on a dull note by collecting Rs 3.37 crores share in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on its opening day and registered a downward trend on its 2nd day at the box office.

Total day 2 collections: Rs 1.61 crores.
The Nithiin starrer collected Rs 4.98 crores in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in 2 days and the break-even mark looks ever so distant. The film needs to collect Rs 15 crores to be deemed a profitable venture but with considerable drops in day 2 collections, full recovery appears to be too big of a mountain to climb.
Check collected another Rs 15 lakhs in other domestic markets and Rs 45 lakhs in overseas. It has collected a total share of Rs 5.58 crores worldwide.

It has been over 3 years since Pawan Kalyan was last seen on the big screens and he is set to make a comeback of sorts with Vakeel Saab. The film is carrying sky-high expectations and it is setting new records even before its theatrical release.
Going into the story, Vakeel Saab has established an unprecedented records in terms of revenues generated through digital and satellite rights.
The Pawan Kalyan starrer has reportedly fetched around Rs 50 crores through digital and satellite rights.
While the digital rights were acquired by Amazon Prime Video, the satellite rights were bagged by ZEE TV. The exact value of these two deals is unknown for now but reports say Dil Raju and Boney Kapoor made around about Rs 50 crores by selling off relevant rights.
Dil Raju and Boney Kapoor, who are producing the project are said to have recovered majority of the production cost through the digital and satellite rights alone.
The fact that Vakeel Saab minted Rs 50 crores through non-theatrical rights despite being a remake speaks volumes about the craze and anticipation surrounding the Pawan Kalyan starrer.

The pillars of the temple were destroyed by the thugs. The villagers are outraged over the incident. They are demanding strict action against the accused.

Mahesh Babu’s next with Anil Ravipudi to go on floors this year end!?
The movie ‘Sarileru Nikevvaru’ starring Mahesh Babu and directed by Anil Ravipudi released for 2020 Sankranthi was a massive blockbuster. Reports surfaced that this hit combination is going to be repeated again. Mahesh is currently busy shooting for ‘Sarkaruvari Pata’ directed by Parashuram.
Although it is known that the superstar would be working with director Rajamouli, another film is in the offing with Anil. Apart from it, Mahesh is going to shoot consecutively for Anil Ravipudi’s yet-to-be titled directorial. Earlier in 2020 there were speculations that Mahesh asked the director to come up with an interesting script within 3 months, for which he insisted to give more time.
Hearsay is that Anil came up with interesting script and the film is set to go on floors later this year. If things pan out well, the film can come much ahead of Rajamouli’s directorial. However, official confirmation is awaited about the shoot dates. Mahesh seem to be in a hurry to speed up his films as he is also keen on releasing other actors’ films under his production banner.
Box Office: Vaisshnav Tej’s Uppena to shatter Prabhas’s all-time record
Yes, you read that correctly. Mega hero Vaisshnav Tej‘s debut movie Uppena is set to shatter an all-time record that is currently held by Prabhas’s Mirchi.
Mirchi tops the list of biggest box office blockbusters which released in the month of February. The Prabhas starrer Mirchi had collected Rs 48.3 crores share worldwide in its full run and no other February release has breached this figure till now.
Cut to now, Uppena has collected Rs 47.57 crores share worldwide in 16 days.
Uppena’s total collections in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana: Rs 44 crores
Karnataka + other domestic markets: Rs 2.25 crores
Overseas: Rs 1.32 crores.
Trade analysts opine that Uppena will break Mirchi’s record in its 3-weeks-run at the box office which is a phenomenal achievement for a film starring debutantes.
Uppena is well and truly on course to enter the Rs 50 crores share club in its full run.
