షణ్ముఖ్ తాగి డ్రైవ్ చేస్తూ ఉడ్ల్యాండ్ అపార్ట్మెంట్స్ వద్ద మూడు వాహనాలను ఢికొట్టాడు. ఈ ఘటనలో ఓ ద్విచక్ర వహనదారుడికి తీవ్ర గాయాలయ్యాయి. వెంటనే ఆ వ్యక్తిని చికిత్స నిమిత్తం ఆస్పత్రికి తరలించారు. పోలీసులు షణ్ముక్ జశ్వంత్కు బ్రీత్ ఎనలైజర్ టెస్ట్ లో ఏకంగా 170 రీడింగ్ రావడం అతని పరిస్థితికి అద్దం పడుతోంది. అతడిని అదుపులోకి తీసుకున్న పోలీసులు కేసు నమోదు చేసుకుని విచారిస్తున్నారు. ఆ సమయంలో షణ్ముక్ ర్యాష్ డ్రైవింగ్ చేసి వాహనాలను ఢికొట్టాడని స్థానికులు పోలీసులకు తెలిపారు.
Grandhi Srinivas: Pawan is a state rowdy
Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan recently said that Bhimavaram YSRCP MLA Grandhi Srinivas and his gang are local rowdies (aaku rowdies) after Grandhi Srinivas launched personal attacks against Pawan Kalyan.
Reacting to Pawan’s statements, Grandhi went a mile ahead now, with his latest statements. Grandhi said that Pawan is a state rowdy and that all of his party members are state rowdies. Grandhi also said that Pawan lost his mind after setting up Jana Sena and that he sounds like a mental patient suffering from psychological problems.
Grandhi even accused Pawan Kalyan of attempting suicide, which is why he was talking like a mad man. Reacting to the statement where Pawan Kalyan compared Grandhi’s attacks to dogs shouting, and those dogs being taken away by municipality vans, Grandhi said that it was the people who treated Pawan that way, in the 2019 elections.
Pawan and Grandhi have been exchanging heated arguments after Pawan lost to Grandhi in the last elections. Pawan is now trying his very best to win in the upcoming civic body elections.
On the other hand, it is now to be seen how Pawan will react to Grandhi’s latest statement. The last time, Pawan said that he would not stay a silent spectator if someone attacked and that he would take serious action.
Gopichand Malineni in search of right match for Balakrishna
Nandamuri Balakrishna is currently shooting for BB3 and he will soon start working on his next project which will be helmed by in-form director Gopichand Malineni.
Mythri Movie Makers will be bankrolling Balayya – Gopichand Malineni project and pre-production works are in full swing presently.
The latest update is that Gopichand Malineni is in search of the right match for Balakrishna. He wants to finalize the female lead at the earliest but it is proving to be a touch task.
No mainstream actress would be interested in acting alongside a senior hero like Balakrishna and even if they do, their financial demands will be a handful for the producers.
Gopichand Malineni is uncertain whether to go for a known face or pick a new and budding actress to play Balakrishna’s love interest in the film. The final call will be taken in the next couple of months.

PM Narendra Modi to receive CERAWeek global energy and environment leadership award
WASHINGTON: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will receive the CERAWeek global energy and environment leadership award during an annual international energy conference next week. The prime minister will also deliver the keynote address at the CERAWeek Conference-2021, which will be held virtually from March 1 to 5, its organiser, IHS Markit, said on Friday.
Prominent speakers at the conference include US special presidential envoy for climate John Kerry, Co-chair of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and founder of Breakthrough Energy Bill Gates and president and CEO, Saudi Aramco, Amin Nasser.
“We look forward to Prime Minister Modi’s perspectives on the role of the world’s largest democracy and are pleased to honour him with the CERAWeek Global Energy and Environment Leadership Award for his commitment to expanding India’s leadership in sustainable development to meet the country’s, and the world’s, future energy needs,” IHS Markit vice chairman and the conference’s chair, Daniel Yergin, said.
In charting its path towards economic growth, poverty reduction and a new energy future, India has emerged at the centre of global energy and the environment, and its leadership is crucial to meet climate objectives for a sustainable future while ensuring universal energy access, he said.
The annual international conference is a gathering of energy industry leaders, experts, government officials and policy makers, leaders from the technology, financial and industrial communities, and energy technology innovators.
UK PM Boris Johnson reiterates support against Taliban in call with Afghan President Ashraf Ghani
LONDON: UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has reiterated Britain’s support to Afghanistan in its fight against the Taliban, as part of the wider North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) alliance.
In a phone call from Downing Street in London with Afghan President Ashraf Ghani on Friday, Johnson also agreed on the importance of making progress in peace talks to secure a sovereign, democratic and united Afghanistan. “He [Johnson] reiterated the UK’s longstanding support for the Afghan government’s fight against the Taliban as part of the NATO coalition,’ a Downing Street spokesperson said.
“They agreed on the importance of making progress in peace talks to secure a sovereign, democratic and united Afghanistan, and to preserve the gains made by civil society and women and girls,” the spokesperson said.
Besides regional matters, both leaders also discussed the COVID-19 crisis and global efforts around access to vaccines to combat the pandemic. “The Prime Minister and President Ghani also discussed global efforts to tackle the pandemic and the rollout of vaccines in Afghanistan and the UK,” Downing Street said.
Hrithik Roshan records statement against Kangana Ranaut
The Mumbai police had summoned Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan to record his statement in his 2016 complaint against Kangana Ranaut in the case of a fake email. The actor on Saturday arrived at the office of the Mumbai Police Commissioner regarding the same.
In 2016, Roshan had lodged a complaint to the police under IPC section 419, along with section 66C and 66D of the Information Technology Act.
After this, the Queen actress served him with legal notices. Roshan had first sent a legal notice demanding an apology from the actress over their alleged affair.
Refusing to apologise, Ranaut had then sent a counter-notice to Hrithik asking him to take back his notice or face a criminal case. Later, he filed a complaint claiming that someone mimicking him had been mailing to Ranaut between 2013 and 2014.

TDP’s manifesto with 10 promises for municipal polls
The Telugu Desam Party is trying very hard and trying its very best to win the people once again, and in a similar attempt, has released its manifesto for the upcoming municipal polls today.TDP National General Secretary Nara Lokesh released the manifesto along with Kinjarapu Atchannaidu and Varla Ramaiah.
Lokesh said that the TDP will make sure and keep all of its promises and implement all of them if the people vote it to power in the municipal polls. The promises include meals for Rs. 5 through Anna Canteen, waiver of old taxes, cleanliness, biannual job fairs for unemployed youth, trash-less towns, toilets and permanent auto rickshaw stands for auto-rickshaw drivers, along with other promises like setting up of self-help groups, houses for the poor, hiking sanitation workers’ salary to Rs 21,000 and free drinking water connection with zero tax.
Lokesh said that the Jagan government failed to develop the town the slightest bit in the 21 months that they have been in power. He said that handing over the YSRCP government with power once again would be a great loss for the people this time. He requested the people to think very well and vote for their future.
On the other hand, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu faced an unexpected setback in his recent Kuppam tour, when one person shouted the name of Jr. NTR and asked for him to be brought into TDP. There were pictures of NTR and his father Harikrishna on several flexis as well. While NTR campaigned for the 2009 elections, he has been away from politics ever since then.
Dil Raju grants a hefty budget for Ram Charan’s RC15
Star producer Dil Raju‘s 50th project, RC15 is the most prestigious one of his career as a producer and he is making sure he ticks all the right boxes.
Dil Raju has apparently granted a hefty budget for RC15 and he does not want Shankar to exceed the limit.
Apparently, Dil Raju wants Shankar to complete the project within a budget of Rs 150 crores. He has conveyed the same to Shankar and the latter agreed to it.
Dil Raju is confident that Ram Charan will become a pan-India star after Rajamouli’s RRR and placing a stake of Rs 150 crores on the mega hero’s immediate next project is a safe bet.
Shankar is planning to shoot the film in 3D format and he will be locking the principle technical crew and lead actors very soon.
RC15 is one of the highly anticipated projects in Indian cinema and it is expected to hit the floors later this year or early next year.

ఇలా మొత్తంగా చూసుకుంటే నిర్మాతలకు దాదాపు 50 కోట్ల లాభం మిగిలింది. అయితే ఇందులో 20 కోట్లు దర్శకుడు సుకుమార్ కు వెళ్ళిపోతుంది. ఈ సినిమాకు వెన్నుముకగా నిలిచి అంతా సజావుగా అయ్యేలా చూసినందుకు సుకుమార్ తీసుకుంటున్న ఫీజ్ అది.
