Alia Bhatt‘s much-awaited film Gangubai Kathiawadi is all set to clash with South star Prabhas’ upcoming film Radhe Shyam on July 30 this year.

Announcing the new release date of Gangubai Kathiawadi, Alia shared a new poster of the film, which has a release date of July 30, 2021 on it.

Gangubai Kathiawadi, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, has been adapted from famous author Hussain Zaidi’s book, ‘Mafia Queens of Mumbai’. It stars Alia Bhatt as Gangubai, one of the most loved and powerful madams from Kamathipura during the 1960s.

Meanwhile, Prabhas’ Radhe Shyam will also arrive in cinemas on July 30, 2021. The film, directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, features Pooja Hegde in the female lead role.

A live debate on a regional Telugu news channel made many heads turn after a person threw his chappal at Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Vishnuvardhan Reddy. The viral clip was widely shared on social media.

Noted news anchor Parvathaneni Venkata Krishna hosted a live debate on the ABN Andhra Jyothi TV channel on Tuesday evening. Andhra Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) general secretary Vishnuvardhan Reddy and Kolikapudi Srinivasa Rao and few others took part in the debate.

While discussing the much-talked-about Amaravati issue, the BJP leader and Kolikapudi Srinivasa Rao indulged in a war of words on the ABN live discussion.

Things turned ugly after Srinivasa Rao, who is said to be Chandrababu Naidu’s loyalist slapped Vishnuvardhan Reddy with his slipper.

The Andhra Pradesh wing of Bharatiya Janata Party condemned the attack on Vishnuvardhan Reddy. BJP Rajya Sabha member GVL Narasimha Rao alleged that it’s the act of TDP and said that Chandrababu Naidu should condemn the incident if TDP is not behind this.

Looking at Kolikapudi Srinivasa Rao’s background, he has a coaching centre in Hyderabad where he coaches the youth for competitive exams. He took part in Amaravati farmers’ agitation and has been taking an active part.

According to the media reports, Chandrababu might field Srinivasa Rao as a TDP candidate in the 2024 polls. He is likely to be contesting from the Tadikonda constituency.

To everyone’s surprise, TDP supporters and sympathisers have widely shared the viral clip of Srinivasa Rao slapping BJP’s Vishnuvardhan Reddy. They even justified the act.

At a time when producing films in just one language is difficult, young producer Kiran K Talasila is unstoppable in multiple languages. We learn that the ‘Crazy Uncles’ producer has set for himself a superb path ahead.

After being a banking professional in the US for about two decades, Kiran is busy listening to scripts. His sense of judgement is strong and he is expected to invest in some of the best movies in the coming years.

The producer is now making ‘Godhari Kathalu’, ‘Goldman’ and ‘Naluguritho Narayana’ in Telugu. The 2021 releases will be content-oriented.

“Besides Telugu, I have a Bollywood film lined up. ‘Ae Kaash Ke Hum’, starring Vivaan Shan (Naseeruddin Shah’s son), Priya Singh and Sophia Singh, is scheduled to release in 2021,” the producer informs.

Talking about his experience in films so far, Kiran says that he got to analyze things as a co-producer of ‘Bhale Manchi Chowka Beram’. Then there is the Tamil film ‘Gorilla’, which gave him insights into the workings of Kollywood. The Telugu-Tamil thriller ‘Seven’ and the Kannada film ‘Nanna Prakara’ are also stand-out films in his filmography.

“Attracting the audience with entertaining material is nothing new to Kiran. Through East Face Entertainment, he has amused kids and families in the digital space,” a source says.

It’s also learned that Kiran will also occasionally move from behind the screen to in front of the screen. He will be essaying roles in movies if something interesting comes his way.

YS Sharmila, the daughter of late AP CM YS Rajasekhar Reddy is going to meet students from various universities in the state. Sharmila’s team said that about 350 students are expected to attend the conference, which will be held in Lotus pond.

She receives feedback from students on issues facing by the students and the implementation of the Fee Reimbursement Scheme.

Recently, many fans from Khammam, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, and Adilabad districts met Sharmila. Former Janagama Municipality chairman Sudhakar and former MP Govardhan Reddy also met Sharmila.

AP BJP leader Vishnuvardhan Reddy was attacked with chappal during a Live TV channel debate. Recently, the ABN news channel hosted a panel discussion on various AP issues, including the AP municipal elections and cabinet decisions. BJP general secretary Vishnuvardhan Reddy, JAC member Kolikapudi Srinivas, and others were present at the debate.

During the discussion, a war of words broke out between Vishnu and Srinivas. When Vishnuvardhan Reddy called Srinivas as a paid artist, he was furious. It was during this incident, he took off his chappal and threw it at Vishnuvardhan Reddy. The video has now gone viral on social media. BJP president Somu Veerraju has condemned the attack on BJP Vishnuvardhan Reddy. The news channel itself lodged a complaint against him and demanded his arrest.

YCP leader Ambati Rambabu tweeted that the ABN channel was behind this attack. On the other hand, BJP asked Chandrababu to condemn the incident because the person who attacked Vishuvardhan Reddy is a loyalist to Chandrababu.
