తెలంగాణ కాంగ్రెస్కు భారీ షాక్ తగిలింది. మాజీ ఎమ్మెల్యే, మేడ్చల్ డీసీసీ ప్రెసిడెంట్ కూన శ్రీశైలం గౌడ్ కాంగ్రెస్కు గుడ్ బై చెప్పారు. త్వరలోనే బీజేపీలో చేరనున్నట్లు ఆదివారం ప్రకటించారు. పార్టీ పదవులతో పాటు ప్రాథమిక సభ్యత్వానికి కూడా రాజీనామా చేసినట్లు వెల్లడించారు. ఆరేళ్లుగా కాంగ్రెస్లో జరుగుతున్న పరిణామాలు తనను బాధించాయని, ప్రతిపక్షంలో ఉండి కూడా ప్రజల సమస్యలపై పోరాటంలో పార్టీ పూర్తిగా విఫలమైందని ఆరోపించారు.
త్వరలో ఆయన ఢిల్లీకి వెళ్లి పెద్దల సమక్షంలో బీజేపీలో చేరే అవకాశం ఉన్నట్టు సమాచారం. 2009 అసెంబ్లీ ఎన్నికల్లో శ్రీశైలం గౌడ్ కుత్బుల్లాపూర్ అసెంబ్లీ నియోజకవర్గం నుంచి ఇండిపెండెంట్గా గెలిచారు. ఆ తర్వాత జరిగిన ఎన్నికల్లో కాంగ్రెస్ అభ్యర్థిగా పోటీ చేసి పరాజయం చెందారు. కాగా, ఇప్పటికే కాంగ్రెస్ నుంచి విజయశాంతి, ఇతర కీలక నేతలు బయటకు వచ్చి బీజేపీలో చేరిన విషయం తెలిసిందే.
‘Chalo Gunjapadugu’: BJP members, lawyers to visit slain lawyers’ native village
HYDERABAD: The BJP legal cell, under the directions of Bandi Sanjay Kumar, has called for ‘Chalo Gunjapadugu,’ a visit to the native village of advocate couple Vaman Rao and Nagamani who were brutally killed on Wednesday. Over 300 advocates would accompany BJP karyakartas for the visit.
Meanwhile, BJP State president Sanjay Kumar on Saturday alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has been harassing his party workers with the help of Intelligence IG Prabhakar Rao.
Sanjay said he would complain to the Central government regarding the harassment. He alleged that some police personnel were creating law and order problems in the State.
Addressing a press conference at the BJP State office, Sanjay alleged that the police had booked false cases and tortured BJP members for participating in Chalo Gurrampode, an earlier campaign.
“With the help of Prabhakar Rao, the Chief Minister is indulging in ‘gundaism’. Is this why the Chief Minister wanted Prabhakar Rao even after his superannuation?” Sanjay questioned.
The BJP chief also pointed out that the Chief Minister had not yet spoken a single word about the Peddapalli murders.
Sarkaru Vaari Paata schedule wrapped, update on the way
The first schedule of Mahesh Babu‘s Sarkaru Vaari Paata which took place in Dubai has been wrapped up and the makers are planning to release an update tomorrow, February 22nd.
There are reports that a small glimpse of Sarkaru Vaari Paata’s Dubai schedule will be out tomorrow.
The makers of the Parasuram directorial are expected to make an official announcement on the same very soon.
Mahesh Babu has been training rigorously to attain a toned physique and a recent snap of him went viral on social media. This has built more buzz and anticipation for the update which is likely to be out tomorrow.
A few action sequences and scenes featuring the lead pair Mahesh Babu and Keerthy Suresh were shot in this schedule. The unit will be returning to Hyderabad very soon and the forthcoming schedule is being planned in the city.
It is known that Sarkaru Vaari Paata will be out in theatres next Sankranthi. Thaman is scoring the music for the film.

Hundreds continue to answer YS Sharmila’s call, Arvind says she’s wasting her time
HYDERABAD/ADILABAD: YS Sharmila raised slogans of ‘Jai Telangana’ in a meeting with her supporters from Hyderabad and Rangareddy district at her residence in Lotus Pond on Saturday.
Hundreds of supporters are turning up at her residence to declare their support in case Sharmila, sister of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, floats a party. Sharmila has sought feedback from her followers by giving them a questionnaire.
She has asked, “What are the current problems being faced by YSR admirers in the State and how to address them? How to defeat KCR/TRS, who is in power? How to deal with the BJP? How to emerge as an alternative at State, district and constituency levels? (sic)” Sharmila, daughter of erstwhile AP Chief Minister YS Rajashekar Reddy, has also asked as to how the common people are receiving her decision to enter politics.
Addressing the gathering, Sharmila said, “Rajashekar Reddy has loved Telugu people irrespective of their caste, religion or region. He wanted every farmer to be a king, poor people to be millionaires, poor students to pursue higher education free of cost, assurances for poor in case of health issues and pucca house for the poor. Which is why, after his demise, a majority of deaths were reported from the Telangana region due to shock.”
She reiterated that she wants to bring back ‘Ranjanna Rajyam’ and welfare schemes in the State.
We need Rama Rajyam, not Rajanna Rajyam: Arvind
Stating that what Telangana needs right now is Rama Rajyam and not Rajanna Rajyam, Nizamabad BJP MP Dharmapuri Arvind took a jibe at YS Sharmila saying that she is wasting her time by preparing for the 2023 Assembly elections as the saffron party will come to power in the State by then.
The Parliamentarian passed these remarks while taking part in a programme, during which leaders and activists from various other parties joined the BJP, at Pochera village in Boath mandal on Saturday. On the occasion, TRS district vice-president GV Ramanna also jumped ship to the BJP.
Pointing out that the Telugus dream of a government like the one led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the Centre, Arvind blasted the pink party for not fulfilling its poll promises and alleged that its leaders were land-grabbers.

YS Sharmila asked for YSR Fan’s advice to deal with KCR!!
While speaking to the party activists from Rangareddy and Hyderabad districts in Lotus pond, YS Rajasekhar Reddy’s daughter YS Sharmila has asked the people of Telangana to give advice on how to deal with TRS and KCR who are in power in the state.
She said “’My wish is to bring Rajanna rule in Telangana. I believe it is possible only with your advice.’
On this occasion, YS Sharmila said that she will bring the late Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy’s reign in Telangana.
YS Sharmila said that the late Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy loved all the Telugu people irrespective of castes, religions, and regions.
She reminded that many people died in Telangana as they could not digest the death of that great leader YS Rajasekhar Reddy.
Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan welcome a baby boy
Bollywood star couple, Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan have welcomed a baby boy into their lives. Kareena gave birth to a baby boy a short while ago.
The couple previously turned parents in 2016 after the birth of their first kid Taimur Ali Khan.
Reportedly, Kareena Kapoor was admitted to Bridge Candy Hospital in Mumbai last night and she delivered a baby boy today.
Kareena, Saif, and Taimur recently moved to a new plush apartment in Mumbai ahead of the arrival of the newborn.
Kareena and Saif are expected to speak about the new addition to the family very soon.
On the work front, Kareena Kapoor will next be seen in Karan Johar’s prestigious project Takhy. Saif Ali Khan is playing demon king Ravana in Prabhas’s Adipurush.

Finally Chandrababu wrote a letter to Modi on Vizag Steel Plant Privatization
Recently, TDP chief Chandrababu wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking to halt the Visakhapatnam steel plant privatization process.
He said that the Visakhapatnam Steel plant was at a loss due to the lack of its own mines and high-interest rates on loans.
He said the industry would get back to its previous stage if either the central government or the state government allocate its own mines.
Chandrababu said that in the past, all the Telugu people, irrespective of caste and creed, united and fought for the Steel plant movement.
He added that 32 people lost their lives in the movement. In the letter, Chandrababu appealed that ‘The central government under your leadership has identified steel as a strategic sector. Visakhapatnam Steel is one of the largest steel industries in the country. Its land value ranges from Rs 1.5 lakh crore to Rs 2 lakh crore. Instead of privatization, look for alternative ways to bring back its glory.’
Bollywood star Vivek Oberoi Apologises For Violating Traffic Rules
Bollywood‘s popular actor Vivek Oberoi, who was fined for riding a bike without a mask and helmet, issued an apology on social media for breaking traffic rules.
Vivek Oberoi was spotted riding his new Harley Davidson with his wife Priyanka Alva Oberoi in Mumbai without wearing a helmet or a mask. The actor had posted this video on Valentine’s day on his social media handles. Along with the video, he wrote, “What a start of this lovely valentine’s day with Main, Meri patni aur woh! A refreshing joyride indeed!”
However, this video had brought trouble to him after traffic police issued an e-challan of Rs 500 against him for not wearing a helmet. An FIR was also registered against him in Mumbai’s Juhu police station on February 19.
Following this, the actor has apologised to the cops and also thanked them for enlightening him that safety is very important. He also asked his fans to wear a helmet while riding a bike.
