Team ‘Mahasamudram’ Goes Unnoticed In Vizag’s Jagadamba Theatre!
‘RX100’ fame Ajay Bhupati is currently making his second film ‘Mahasamudram’ which has Sharwanand playing the lead role. Talented hero Siddharth is making a comeback into Tollywood after a long time with this film too and his characterization is said to be very unique. Aditi Rao Hydari and Anu Emanuel are playing female leads. The team is currently shooting in Vishakapatnam.
Recently, the film’s team consisting of director Ajay, heroes Sharwa and Siddharth watched ‘Uppena’ in Vizag’s Jagadamba theatre. Interestingly, people didn’t recognise them and they happily watched the movie. Of the three, Siddharth looked quite lean and appeared very young. Also, they all wore masks which helped them in hiding their identity.
Sharwa took to Twitter and shared a picture of them from the theatre and wrote, ‘#Uppena Lovely work by the debutants. You killed it @ThisIsDSP. Congratulations to the entire team. Shine on my brother Vaishnav.’
Over everything, it was Siddharth’s look that is grabbing everyone’s attention as he is looking the same just like he did during his ‘Love Failure’ and ‘180’ days. Let us see if his second innings becomes successful or not.
Thaman Gets Too Busy For Maruthi!
During the early stages of his career, director Maruthi worked with upcoming technicians but as his market grew bigger after ‘Bhale Bhale Mogadivoy’, he is working with big actors and technicians. He worked with Gopi Sundar for Nani and Naga Chaitanya’s film respectively. After that, music for Maruthi’s last two films were given by Thaman. The combo of Thaman and Maruthi gave hit songs and background scores.
Mainly, Thaman had a complete makeover with ‘Mahanubhavudu’ and even ‘Prathi Roju Pandage’ was a good hit in terms of the audio. Just when people were expecting a hattrick in their combination, Maruthi surprised everyone by bringing in a new composer for his next. He is currently working with Gopichand and young music director Jakes Bejoy is working on this film.
Insiders say that Maruthi wanted to bring in Thaman but the latter is busy with big projects like ‘Vakeel Saab’,’Sarkaru Vaari Paata’, ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’ remake, Balayya-Boyapati film, ‘Tuck Jagadish’ and many others. The makers of the Maruthi-Gopichand film have announced that they will be arriving on 1st October. With Thaman being busy, Maruthi gave the chance to ‘Taxiwaala’ fame Jakes Bejoy. CM YS Jagan to visit Visakhapatnam tomorrow
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is going to Visakhapatnam on Wednesday. CM Jagan will participate in the annual festival of Sri Sharada Peetham in Chinamushidiwada, Pendurthi Zone. CM Jagan will leave from his Thadepalli residence at 9 am and reach Gannavaram Airport at 9.20 am. The flight will depart from there and he will reach Visakhapatnam Airport at 10.10 am.
From there, Chief Minister Jagan will reach Shri Sharada Peetham in Chinamushidiwada by road at 10.40 am. Chief Minister Jagan will participate in the annual ceremonies of Shri Sharada Peetham till 12.30 pm. Then, he will depart from Visakhapatnam Airport at 12.50 pm. He will reach his home in Thadepalli at 2.10 pm.
Noteworthy celebs to attend Sumanth starrer ‘Kapatadhaari’ pre release event today
Sumanth starrer ‘Kapatadhaari’ is slated to release in the theaters this February 19, 2021. The flick has already stealed the spotlight with its teasers and trailers. A racy trailer cut with an electrifying theme song for ‘Kapatadhaari’ was out yesterday, which is already raising expectations among film buffs. After a brief gap, Sumanth is back with this crime thriller drama who plays a bold and dynamic role as an investigative officer.
A little birdie from the industry revealed that a pre release event for the film is going be held at trident hotel at 6 P.m today in the city. Interestingly, noteworthy celebs that include Adivi Sesh and King Nagarjuna are going to attend the event as chief guests among other bigwigs. Makers along with PRO’s also released a poster welcoming Nagarjuna and Sesh for the occasion as just 3 days are left for the release. Sumanth welcomed the decision and thanked Adivi Sesh and Nagarjuna for supporting him.
Kapatadhaari’ is written by Hemanth M Rao wherein music score is being provided by Simon K King.
The film is helmed by Pradeep Krishnamoorthy while produced by G Dhananjayan and Lalitha Dhananjayan jointly under creative entertainers and distributors banner.

GHMC mayor says she doesn’t want rains
Hyderabad newly-elected Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi seems determined to fritter away all the good will that she has earned by putting her foot-firmly in her mouth once too often. After the unsavoury controversy over the transfer of Shaikpet tehsildar, she has once again raked up a controversy.
In an interview to a mediahouse, she said she would pray to the God that there should be no rains for the coming five years. This crazy wish has left the mediapersons speechless. During the interview, the correspondent asked about the GHMC’s preparedness to fight floods. Unable to give a proper reply, she merely said that she was praying to the God that there should be no rains in Hyderabad for at least five years. This means she does not want rains during her terms. This implies that she was OK with drought and water scarcity but not rains. In other words, she has also admitted that the GHMC cannot handle the flood fury.

Jagan is behind the privatization of the steel plant : Achennaidu
The steel plant movement is booming in Visakhapatnam. Concerns have been raised that the decision to privatize the steel plant by the Union government should be withdrawn. TDP leaders have been criticizing CM Jagan over privatization. A group of BJP leaders met Union Steel Minister Dharmendra on the privatization of the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant and appealed for reconsideration on privatization.
On the other hand, AP TDP president Achennaidu made key remarks on CM Jagan. It is alleged that Jaganmohan Reddy was behind the decision to privatize the steel plant. In addition, Achennaidu challenged the YCP government to resign for the steel plant movement.
Political parties are trying to save the Visakhapatnam steel plant as a whole not to be privately owned under any circumstances. Currently, the criticisms are heaped on the ruling party.
