Major shocker from court to Vijaya Sai and Ramana Deekshitulu
YSRCP MP Vijayasai Reddy and Tirumala Venkateswara Swamy’s former head priest, Ramana Deekshitulu made headlines a few years ago, when they accused the Chandrababu Naidu government of steeling a pink diamond that belonged to Lord Venkateswara Swamy.
Following these allegations, the TTD board filed a defamation case against the two and demanded that each of them pay Rs. 100 Crores for the defamation. After the YSRCP party won the general elections in 2019, the Jagan government wanted to withdraw the case that was filed against Vijayasai and Deekshitulu.
The Tirupati 10th Additional District Court heard the petitions of the Telangana Hindu Jana Sakti and the petitions of several other individuals and ruled out the withdrawal of the case on Reddy and Deekshitulu. The court was told, by these petitioners, that the withdrawal of the case by the TTD would be very hurting for the sentiments of all Hindus in the world.
Ever since the defamation case, and ever since the Chandrababu Naidu government was accused of stealing the pink diamond, several speculations have spread. However, the most common and fact-based point remained that there was no pink diamond in the TTD’s chest in the first place.
Kollywood actress Oviya Booked for Anti-Modi tweet
Kollywood actress Oviya Helen has landed in legal trouble for allegedly disrespecting Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to Tamil Nadu.
The actress tweeted with the hashtag #GoBackModi on Sunday when the Modi visited the state to launch several developmental projects.
D Alexis Sudhakar, the state secretary of Tamil Nadu BJP, stated in the petition that the police should inquire if Helen’s tweet was to provoke public disorder and take relevant action against her.
The BJP demanded the actress to apologise for her tweet. A case has been registered against her under section 69 A of IT Act r/w 124 A, 153 A, 294 of the IPC. Her tweet on Sunday has so far garnered 19.9K retweets and 58.7K likes.

Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena urges SEC to issue a fresh schedule for Municipal elections!
Nimmagdda Ramesh Kumar assumed the Andhra Pradesh’s State Election Commissioner’s office on the first of April in 2016. His tenure as the SEC will end in March and he will retire on the 31st of March this year.
With the ongoing Panchayat elections nearing completion in the state, Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar has issued the election schedule for the Municipal elections. The election schedule will cover 12 Municipal Corporations and 75 Municipalities.
SEC Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar issued the election schedule for the Municipal polls which were supposed to be held in March last year. The polls were postponed due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
However, the political parties in Andhra Pradesh are raising their objections over the election schedule. Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena has opposed the re-notification for the Municipal polls and urged the SEC to issue a fresh notification.
“It’s been nearly one year since the Municipal polls were postponed. Issuing election notification to restart the Municipal polls would not do justice. Fresh notification should be issued,” Jana Sena’s political affairs committee (PAC) chairman Nadendla Manohar.
Now the political circles are waiting for SEC Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar’s response to the demand from the parties in the state to issue a fresh notification rather than restarting the election process.
Serving SEC Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar didn’t have a cakewalk in his tenure. He fought a legal battle and even moved the Supreme Court and High Court to get directives to get re-appointed in his post.
Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has sacked him from his post and appointed retired high court judge Justice V. Kanagaraj as the State Election Commissioner (SEC).
The AP government brought an ordinance to reduce the tenure of SEC from five years to three years.

This movie is being made on a grand scale and ‘Maharaja’ is based on Maharaj Libel Case which is set in 1862. Apparently, Junaid Khan is doing theatre for quite some time now and he is going to be seen as a journalist who uncovers a sexual scam of religious leader in 1862 in this film. News is that a huge set is built in Madh Island and the major part of the shoot will be done there. Junaid is the first star kid who is coming as a hero among the three big Khans. Let us see if he becomes successful or not.

Chandrababu made controversial comments on YCP leaders
TDP chief and former chief minister Chandrababu Naidu has said that the YCP leaders are not ashamed of the atrocities they are committing in the panchayat elections. Chandrababu strongly condemned the illegal arrest of TDP leaders in Krosuru and the destruction of crop fields by YCP leaders in Pulivendula.
Speaking to the media, Chandrababu expressed anger that the YCP leaders had turned the state into Ravana Kashtam with hatred and destruction. He said YCP atrocities were on the rise in the state due to fear of losing. Chandrababu demanded the immediate release of the TDP leaders arrested in Aavulavaripalem. Chandrababu demanded that legal action be taken against those who destroyed crop fields in Pulivendula.
Pawan Kalyan gives his nod to Harish Shankar
Pawan Kalyan is presently shooting for Ayyappanum Koshiyum remake and he will be completing his portion in the next couple of months. He will be kick-starting PSPK27, which is directed by Krish soon after.
The latest news is that Pawan Kalyan has given his green signal to his next with Harish Shankar.
Harish has locked the final draft and narrated the same to Pawan Kalyan very recently. The latter was impressed with the script and asked the makers to start pre-production.
Tentatively titled PSPK28, this project will be hitting the floors as early as this April. Related works are being carried out currently.
Pawan Kalyan is reportedly planning to work on PSPK27, and Harish Shankar directorial simultaneously from this April.
Mythri Movie Makers who scored a humongous hit with Uppena are said to be excited about kick-starting PSPK28, which will mark their maiden collaboration with Pawan Kalyan.

Lokesh: Jagan is a gun without a bullet
TDP National General Secretary Nara Lokesh addresses the public today when he took part in TDP member Palla Srinivas Rao’s protest against the Center’s decision to privatise the Visakha Steel Plant.
Speaking to the public, Nara Lokesh questioned how the Chief Minister of the state could just write a letter to the Prime Minister, opposing the privatisation of the Visakha Steel Plant, without planning something substantial to oppose it. Lokesh said that the protests against the privatisation would only get worse if the Center decides to go ahead with the idea.
Lokesh also said that the Jagan government is exacting its revenge on Visakhapatnam, as YS Vijayalakshmi failed to win in the city. Upon enquiring in Delhi, Lokesh said that the Prime Minister has received no letter from the Chief Minister, regarding the privatisation of the Visakha Steel plant.
Furthermore, Lokesh questioned how the YSRCP government is sitting quietly when it has a strength of 151 MLAs and 22 MPs. Commenting on the state government’s ability to take proper action against the privatisation, Lokesh said that Jagan is like a gun without any bullets.
Lokesh challenged the YSRCP government, and especially Jagan to prove themselves in the third phase of the local elections. He asked them to win with a large majority, without threatening or warning anyone who gives in a nomination against the candidates of the party.
Chiranjeevi recommends this Composer for his next film
Megastar Chiranjeevi has a busy line up for 2021. The veteran actor is currently busy working for Koratala Siva’s Acharya. The actor will also be doing the remake of ‘Lucifer’ with director Mohan Raja and the remake of ‘Vedalam’ with Meher Ramesh.
Besides these projects, Chiru has teamed up with KS Ravindra aka Bobby. The latest we hear is Megastar has a great liking for Devi Sri Prasad‘s music and he is now planning to get him on board for his project with Bobby.
Reports suggest that the pre-production work of this film has begun and the shoot will begin later this year. The director has recently met DSP and discussed about the music he wants in his film.
Bobby is said to be happy working with DSP. The duo had earlier worked for Pawan Kalyan’s Sardaar Gabbar Singh.
