BJP to hold a massive public meeting in Nagarjuna Sagar ahead of the polls!

The Telangana wing of Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) has upped the game to focus on another much-awaited poll, the Nagarjuna Sagar by-elections. The saffron party which is in full josh with back to back election wins in Telangana.

Though the party has failed to win the GHMC polls, the party’s performance has improved significantly compared to the previous civic body polls. From 4 seats in 2016 to 48 seats in 2020, BJP has come a long way.

Lok Sabha member, State President of Bharatiya Janata Party of Telangana Bandi Sanjay Kumar said a massive public meeting will be held in Nagarjuna Sagar. The meeting will be held this month.

Adding further, the state chief said the candidate for the Nagarjuna Sagar by-elections is not selected yet and the candidate will be announced very soon.

‘We(BJP) will win two MLC seats and Nagarjuna Sagar by-elections. All the key leaders will campaign for the party for the MLC elections, An in-charge was appointed for every 25 voters,’ Bandi Sanjay said.

The Lok Sabha member has lashed out at the KCR government for trying to steal the lands that belong to the Tribals at the Gurrapubodu tanda even after the Telangana High Court issued orders.

Actor Sachin Joshi who acted as hero in various films like ‘Orey Pandu’, ‘Nee Jathaga Nenundaali’ and others has been arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) after questioning for several hours due to his alleged connections with the money laundering probe.

He was arrested on Sunday night and ED officials revealed this information themselves. As we know, Sachin is the son of Gutkha baron Jagadish Joshi. He will be presented before the local court and an official claimed that he got arrested due to his involvement in money laundering probe related to Omkar group.

His offices and houses were searched by the Income Tax department. On 27th January, Omkar Group Chairman Kamal Gupta and Managing Director Babu Lal Verma were arrested under the PMLA (Prevention of Money Laundering Act), 2002.

Tripura CM Says BJP Plans To Expand Into Nepal & Sri Lanka

Tripura chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb sparked a new controversy when he revealed Bharatiya Janatha Party’s alleged aim to form a government in Nepal and Sri Lanka, or at least expand BJP into India’s neighbours.

According to reports, during a party program in Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan on Saturday, the CM said that former BJP President Amit Shah during his visit to the state said that he plans to establish the party in bordering countries after acquiring most of the states in India.

“We were talking in the state guest house when Ajay Jamwal (North-East Zonal Secretary of BJP) said that BJP has formed its government in several states of India, in reply Shah said, Now Sri Lanka and Nepal is left. We have to expand the party in Sri Lanka, Nepal and win there to form a government,” Biplab Kumar Deb said quoting the Union Home Minister.

He also said that the BJP will change the old tradition that has been entrenched in Kerala for the last few years. If Congress had been in power in Kerala for five years in the past, the Left would have been in power for the next five years. The BJP will change this pattern. The party will soon contest in the southern states.

Marking the occasion of Valentine’s day, the makers of Akhil and Monal’s film have announced that it has been titled Telugu Abbayi Gujarat Ammayi.

A poster of the film was also unveiled on the occasion. The poster showcases Akhil in traditional Telugu attire and Monal is seen in Gujarati clothing. It has a colourful vibe to it.

Debutante, Bhaskar Bantupalli will be helming Telugu Abbayi Gujarat Ammayi and Bhaskar Rao will be producing it.

For the unversed, Ram Charan‘s debut film, Chirutha stood as the highest grossing Telugu film starring a debut hero in the lead role. Now, Vaisshnav Tej‘s Uppena has broken this long-standing record.

While, Chirutha collected Rs 25.11 crores in its full run, Uppena surpassed this figure in just 3 days as the film minted Rs 26.78 crores in its first weekend itself.

It took 14 years for Chirutha’s record to be broken and incidentally, a mega hero achieved the feat.

Vaisshnav Tej could not have asked for a better start to his acting career as his maiden film is now the highest grossing Telugu film which stars a debutante in the lead role.

What’s more? Uppena has also joined an elite list of Telugu biggies by posting solid figures on its third day. The film collected Rs 8.26 crores on its third day and is next only to Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, Saaho, Rangasthalam, DJ, and Bharath Ane Nenu.

Civil Supplies Minister Kodali Nani has approached the High Court challenging the orders issued by state Election Commissioner (SEC) Nimmagadda Rameshkumar on Friday restraining him from speaking to the media.

He filed a petition in the High Court in the form of a House motion seeking to dismiss the orders issued by the SEC.

The video of the minister’s remarks at the press meet became crucial. SEC’s lawyer Ashwini Kumar asked the high court to look into the video footage of the minister’s remarks.

The lawyer said it would be clear from the footage why orders had to be given to detain the minister without speaking to the media.

Minister Nani used harsh language against the SEC. The High Court judge, after considering the details mentioned by the lawyer, directed the SEC to submit to the court a transcript of those remarks, including the video footage.

Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor’s ‘Roohi’ gets a release date

After government announced 100% occupancy of seats in theatres, Bollywood bounced back to normalcy. Post-Covid Janhvi Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma’s horror-comedy directed by Hardik Mehta got a release date.

It is going to be one of the first few films slated for grand release on March 11 globally. Makers of Stree reunited for the second time with Rajkummar. They announced the new modified title named ‘Roohi’ after Roohi Afzana.

Makers shared a video that features Janhvi in bridal look veiled by the saree on her face while Rajkummar Rao and Varun are seen in groom’s attire along with her. Janhvi also shared a glimpse on her Instagram that featured herself, Rajkummar and Varun with a backdrop of the creepy woods.

She wrote ‘Iss Bhootiya Shaadi mein app aka Swagat hai’! ( You are welcome to this ghostly marriage). The story written by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba narrates about the ghost that abducts brides on their honeymoons.

Apart from the horror comedy release announcement on March 11 in cinemas, the film trailer will also be out on February 16, 2021 as declared by the makers. The film is bankrolled by Dinesh Vijan under the banner ‘Maddock films’ along with Jio studios as the distribution partner.
