In a bold promotional approach, the makers have kept details under wraps, with no songs, teasers, or trailers released yet, signaling their confidence in the film’s appeal.

Hombale Films announced that the official trailer will drop this Monday. To mark the pan-India launch, stars from various industries—Prabhas (Telugu), Prithviraj (Malayalam), Hrithik Roshan (Hindi), and Siva Karthikeyan (Tamil)—will share the trailer on their social media platforms. A pre-release event is planned in Hyderabad, with Jr NTR expected to attend, health permitting.

Set a thousand years ago, Kantara Chapter 1 explores rich cultural traditions while showcasing epic, colorful war sequences and visually striking cinematography. Microsoft has urged employees holding H-1B and H-4 visas who are currently outside the United States to return promptly ahead of a new US government regulation. The rule, set to take effect on September 21, imposes a $100,000 annual fee for each H-1B visa and will remain in place for 12 months. The policy aims to encourage companies to prioritize hiring American workers.

The company has advised H-1B employees already in the US to continue their work uninterrupted and H-4 visa holders, typically spouses, to remain in the country. “We strongly recommend H-1B and H-4 visa holders return to the US before the deadline,” Microsoft stated.

Approximately 71% of H-1B visa holders are from India, employed by major tech firms including Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, and TCS. The new fee structure is expected to significantly increase the cost for companies retaining skilled international talent.
