Uttam waxes eloquent on the Mahatma
HYDERABAD: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president N Uttam Kumar said it was unfortunate that the current rulers were imposing “draconian and suppressive” measures against peaceful, legitimate, and democratic protests.
He spoke after offering a floral tribute to Gandhi on the latter’s 73rd death anniversary at Gandhi Bhavan on Saturday.
Later, Kumar tweeted, “The golden rule of conduct is mutual toleration, seeing that we will never all think alike and we shall always see Truth in fragment and from different points of vision.”
Recalling Albert Einstein’s quote on Gandhi, Uttam said, “Generations to come will scarce believe that such a one as this ever in flesh & blood walked upon this earth”. He urged his party cadre to follow Gandhi’s ideals and teachings.

Now, TRS is ready to be friends with Modi sarkar
HYDERABAD: Despite Telangana Chief Minister and TRS supremo K Chandrasekhar Rao’s assertion a few days ago that he would wage a war against the Centre for its anti-farmer laws, the pink party seems to have changed tack.
It has decided to work with the Narendra Modi government in order to get more funds and projects to Telangana. The TRS MPs, after attending the all-party meeting convened by Prime Minister Modi in New Delhi on Saturday, said since there are no elections now, there is no need for politics.
“The Centre and the States should work in close coordination,” they said.
“We are ready to be friends with anyone in order to protect the interests of the State,” TRS Parliamentary Party (TRSPP) leader K Keshava Rao told reporters in the national capital. “We have to work with the Centre to get funds and projects to Telangana,” TRS leader in Lok Sabha Nama Nageswara Rao said.
However, the MPs made it clear that the party’s stand on the new farm laws has not changed. “We had opposed the laws when they were introduced in Parliament and there has been no change in our stand ever since. We have even suggested to the Centre to refer the laws to the Select Committee of Parliament, but it did not agree,” Keshava Rao said.
The TRSPP leader welcomed the ongoing dialogue with the farmers. “The discussions are being held with an open mind, which is a good development,” he said.He went on to clarify that the TRS MPs did not boycott the President’s address to the joint Parliament session as it would have been construed as supporting the violence of January 26. Violence, in any form, is not good, he said.
KK wants OBC Ministry; Nama seeks a Covid crisis debate
Keshava Rao advised the Centre not to ignore the farmers’ demands by showing the violent incidents as an alibi. Farmers have accorded top priority to agriculture in Telangana, he said. On the all-party meeting, the MP said the decisions taken were not implemented. He wants a discussion in the ongoing Parliament session on the pending issues of the AP Reorganisation Act, 2014. There should also be a debate on providing reservations to OBCs, he said, demanding the creation of a separate ministry for them. “We need a discussion on women reservations too,” the TRSPP leader said.
Meanwhile, Nama Nageswara Rao said President Ram Nath Kovind had mentioned several schemes taken up by the Telangana government in his address to the joint session of Parliament. The State is a role model for others, he said. Nama said a debate on the financial crisis after Covid-19, the roads and railway projects required for Telangana and other subjects should be taken up in Lok Sabha.
Inside News: Nidhhi Agerwal receives high praises from Pawan Kalyan
As we had reported a while back, Nidhhi Agerwal is playing the female lead in Pawan Kalyan-Krish periodic drama. The unit resumed shoot recently before an unforeseen technical issue resulted in further postponement.
Incidentally, Pawan Kalyan and Nidhhi Agerwal shot for a few scenes in the recent schedule.
According to the information passed on by our well-placed sources, Nidhhi Agerwal received high praises from Pawan Kalyan himself.
Apparently, Pawan Kalyan was really impressed with Nidhhi Agerwal’s acting skills while they were shooting for a crucial episode in the film. Pawan appreciated Nidhhi for her acting prowess and asked her to keep up the good work.
Nidhhi is said to be elated with the high praises she received from Pawan Kalyan.
PSPK27 has been postponed for now and the shoot is expected to be resumed after Pawan Kalyan completes Ayyappanum Koshiyum remake.

Balakrishna’s BB3 to arrive in theatres on this date?
Nandamuri Balakrishna‘s upcoming project BB3 is nearing completion and the makers are said to be contemplating the potential release date.
Apparently, the producers of the action thriller are planning to release the film on 28th of May.
The makers opine that a commercial potboiler like BB3 which marks the third collaboration between Balakrishna and Boyapati Sreenu can have a good at the box office if it releases during the summer season. Hence the idea of releasing the film on May 28th.
Incidentally, Chiranjeevi’s Acharya and Venkatesh’s Naarappa have already locked May 13th, and 14th respectively as the release dates. So, it won’t be a straightforward choice for the makers of BB3 to release the film on 28th of May.
BB3 has Balakrishna and Pragya Jaiswal in the lead roles. The powerful action entertainer has been in the making for over a year now.

AP SEC issued notices to the TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu
State Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar enraged over the release of a manifesto by the opposition party, TDP regarding the panchayat elections.
It is learned that recently, TDP President Chandrababu Naidu released the election manifesto titled ‘Palle Pragathi-Pancha Sutralu’.
With this, SEC Nimmagadda Ramesh issued notices to the TDP leader. He ordered an explanation on the manifesto by 2nd February.
YCP leaders brought to the notice of the commission that the law makes it clear that elections should be held in a non-partisan and peaceful atmosphere.
They appealed to Chandrababu to action against his followers who have violated the rules. Responding to their complaint, recently AP SEC Nimmagadda Ramesh issued notices.
Buzz: Siddu Jonnalagadda starrer ‘Narudi Brathuku Natana’ shoot launches today
Siddhu Jonnalagadda, who proved his mettle as an actor in the digital space with last film Krishna And His Leela has grabbed good attention among the Telugu audience. Now the young star will be featured in a high budget film titled ‘Narudu Brathuku Natana’.
This film will star hit pair Siddhu Jonnalagadda opposite gorgeous leading lady Shraddha Srinath once again.
The most happening Production house in Tollywood, Sithara Entertainments, is bankrolling the film and a young director Vimal Krishna was roped into helm this film.
Earlier Vimal Krishna was involved in the direction team of Krishna And His Leela. An interesting poster was unveiled by Raj Kandukuri earlier in October. After the covid impact has reduced, the crew is all set to begin the shoot.
As per the latest update, the film launch has begin today morning. Director-writer Trivikram was present in the launch ceremony. Wherein the film’s opening shot has begun after the Pooja ceremony and other formalities. The film unit and other dignitaries graced the ocassion.
Narudi Brathuku Natana is billed to be the one- of-a-kind crime comedy. Music is being provided by Kaala Bhairava while produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and presented by PDV Prasad.
F3: Dil Raju pockets Rs 24 crores already
Venkatesh and Varun Tej’s F3 is doing some excellent pre-release business already and Dil Raju who is producing the film could not have been happier.Reportedly, Dil Raju sold the digital and satellite rights of the Anil Ravipudi directorial for a hefty price.
The digital and satellite rights of F3 were sold for Rs 12 crores each, taking the total tally to Rs 24 crores.Dil Raju has recovered a big chunk of his investment in the project from selling off the digital and satellite rights alone.
Apparently, Amazon Prime Video bagged the digital rights of F3 for Rs 12 crores and Zee Telugu paid the same price for the satellite rights of the film.Given the tremendous success of F2, its sequel F3 will garner huge buzz ahead of its theatrical release. So, Dil Raju is expected to make huge profits from this project.
F3 is presently in filming stage. The lead actors Venkatesh, and Varun Tej are shooting for the film. Tamannaah and Mehreen will play female leads.
