Devineni Uma made sensational comments on Jagan
Telugu Desam Party leader and former minister Devineni Uma has made sensational remarks on AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy.
He said that YS Jagan was disappointed by the Supreme Court verdict removing obstacles to panchayat elections in Andhra Pradesh and that he wanted to dissolve the government in the state immediately.
Recently, speaking to the media in Nandigama, Devineni Uma said that Jagan had withdrawn the idea of dissolving the government after learning through intelligence sources that there was opposition to his rule among the people.
He alleged that Jagan has come to know that the YSR Congress party would not get even single-digit seats if elections were held right now.
Devineni Uma criticized Jagan saying that this is the only reason why Jagan had announced that he would cooperate with the Election Commission.

Somarapu unhappy with BJP
Somarapu Satyanarayana, former MLA, who joined the BJP a couple of years ago and has been made the president of the Peddapally district unit, has shocked everyone when he said that he would resign from the party and the post he is currently holding. This has come as a surprise and shock to the party state leadership.
Somarapu is a strong leader with grassroots connect. He is also known to be a leader with deep contacts with labour unions in the coal belt. It was because of his influence that the TRS failed to make spectacular gains in the coal belt during the last year’s municipal elections. However, ever since Bandi Sanjay took over, he is on a flab-cutting mission and is bringing down the number of party functionaries. For instance, though there was a provision to appoint 80 persons to the state working committee. But, Sanjay appointed only 36 persons. In this process, he had ignored many seniors. This has angered Somarapu Satyanarayana, who felt that the state leadership has belittled him. Hence he has sent in his resignation.
Somarapu has strong links to the trade unions of the coal belt and his leaving could affect the plans of the BJP to defeat the TRS in the coal belt union elections. Already senior trade unionist Mallaiah is planning to leave RSS-backed BMS. He was earlier an asset to the TRS and has left the party to join BMS later. If he and Somarapu switch sides, it could affect the BJP’s efforts to strengthen itself in the coal belt.
Radhe Shyam: Prabhas’s fans ridicule UV Creations with press note hoax
UV Creations was subject to criticism and social media trolling during the release of Saaho as Prabhas’s fans were disappointed with the poor round of promotions and lack of exciting pre-release updates on the film. A similar scene is repeating again now and this time it is regarding Prabhas’s upcoming film, Radhe Shyam.
Prabhas’s fans on social media have been asking UV Creations who are bankrolling Radhe Shyam to release timely updates on the project but their efforts are going unnoticed.
Earlier this month, the director of Radhe Shyam, Radha Krishna Kumar said an update on teaser would be out very soon and many expected the makers to provide an update during the Sankranthi season. But there has been no update of any sort.
All these developments left Prabhas’s fans disappointed and they are now finding new ways to mock UV Creations.
Incidentally, Prabhas’s fans on social media are sharing a fake press note with UV Creations letterhead. This hoax is going viral on Twitter.
The fake press note says Radhe Shyam was planned as a OTT film and fans misunderstood it as a theatrical release. “It is hereby confirmed that Radhe Shyam is not Prabhas’s next theatrical release after Saaho. Prabhas’s next theatrical release is Salaar which will be directed by Prashanth Neel,” read the funny press note.
Fans are hoping UV Creations would take cue from this social media troll and plan continual promotions in the days to follow.

Andhra Pradesh EC writes to CS demanding transfer of another IAS officer
VIJAYAWADA: Close on the heels of issuing censure proceedings against two senior IAS officers — Gopala Krishna Dwivedi and Girija Shankar — State Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar yet again wrote a letter to Chief Secretary Aditya Nath Das on Friday, asking him to transfer another senior IAS officer Praveen Prakash, currently working as Principal Secretary to Chief Minister.
In the letter to CS, he invoked his plenary power under Article 246 (read with Article 324) to transfer Praveen Prakash with a view to ensure free and fair elections. Praveen Prakash is banned during the course of election to have interaction with district collectors and superintendents of police and any officer directly or indirectly dealing with matters relating to the elections, the SEC said.
At the same time, the SEC also shot off a letter to Governor Biswa Bhushan Harichandan complaining that YSRC MP Vijaya Sai Reddy has violated the Model Code of Conduct and also sought action against advisor (public affairs) to the government Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, Municipal Administration Minister Botcha Satyanarayana and Panchayat Raj Minister Peddireddy for their alleged comments against him.
He wanted the Governor to restrain the powers that be in the government from making any political comments. SEC letters to the Chief Secretary and Governor evoked severe criticism from the ruling YSRC leaders. In the letter, the SEC said he wanted to approach the court over the YSRC leaders’ comments, but before that wanted to warn them through the Governor.
Adivi Sesh’s Major locks its release date
Quite a few Telugu films have locked their release dates this week and Adivi Sesh‘s Major is the latest addition to the list.
Earlier today, the makers of Major have announced that the film will be releasing on 2nd July.
Mahesh Babu who is co-producing the film also tweeted about its release date. “2nd July 2021. The #MAJOR day,” he posted.
Major is based on the life journey of Sandeep Unnikrishnan, one of the martyrs in Mumbai attacks 2008.
Adivi Sesh spent a lot of time getting to know about the life of Sandeep in order to get his physical appearance right and related pre-production works went on for over 2 years.
Major is directed by Shashi Kiran Thikka and it is jointly bankrolled by GMB Entertainments and Sony Pictures.

Unemployed youth in Telangana may soon get dole
HYDERABAD: In what should be music to the ears of the jobless, TRS working president and MAUD Minister KT Rama Rao on Thursday said Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is likely to announce an unemployment allowance in the next few days.“The Chief Minister, in a day or two, may make an announcement on the quantum of unemployment dole,” Rama Rao said.
The unemployed youth in Telangana have long been waiting for this one promise to be fulfilled. Back in December, 2018, a couple of days ahead of wrapping up his campaign for the Assembly elections, the Chief Minister had announced that he would provide an unemployment allowance to the youth after retaining power. He said this while releasing the TRS manifesto during a public meeting at the Secunderabad Parade Grounds.
As there has been a delay, the TRS government has come under attack from the Opposition time and again. Students, too, had turned restive and began making loud demands for its announcement.Rama Rao, while spilling the beans on the unemployment dole at a meeting of the Telangana Rashtra Vidyuth Karmika Sangahm (TRVKS) on Thursday, said the government would soon release a notification for the recruitment to 50,0000 posts in the State government, as announced earlier. He said Rao will bestow more than what the youth had expected from him. He also promised to bring the problems of the power utilities’ employees to the notice of the Chief Minister for early resolution.
KTR takes Oppn to task
Rama Rao said had KCR not secured Telangana State, there would have been no TPCC or Telangana BJP. The leaders of these two parties would have been without any moorings anywhere in Telangana, had the separate State not been carved out. “The leaders, who are occupying the posts of presidents of the TPCC and the Telangana BJP, are, in fact, created by KCR,” he said.
The Chief Minster, as promised, had addressed the three major issues of Telangana — drinking water, irrigation and power — in just six years, the MAUD Minister said. “There used to be dharnas for water and power when Telangana was part of Andhra Pradesh. There used to be power holidays for industries. But these are no longer issues,” he said.
Sushant’s IVNR Teaser: Quirky and Interesting
Earlier today, Pan-India superstar Prabhas launched the teaser of Sushant Akkineni’s upcoming film Ichata Vahanumulu Nilupa Radu.
The male lead Sushant parks his new Royal Enfield bullet in a no parking area and all hell breaks loose. His bike is destroyed by the locals and various other external factors come into play to an extent where his personal life is affected.
The trailer indicates that the film has a quirky and interesting plot, which looks potent.
There is a good dose of comedy, romance, and action in the trailer.
Sushant and Meenakshi Chaudhary play the lead roles in this film and debutante S Dharshan is directing it.

Actress ‘Aamani’ gets discharged from Mancherial hospital after falling ill on sets
After a long hiatus, Tollywood senior actress Aamani was back on film sets. She was busy shooting for a Telugu film. During the shoot, the actress has apparently fallen ill as she complained giddiness and chest pain. Soon she was rushed to a hospital by the film unit members at Mancherial.
The doctors who examined her said that it’s a mild chest pain due to stress and nothing to worry. Medical examination has been performed to Aamani under senior doctors’ supervision. Blood swabs were also tested for any likely presence of Covid-19. The actress was found to be free from it and soon was discharged after getting treated.
Aamani is currently working for a yet-to-be titled film bankrolled by Taidala Bapu who is based out from Mancherial. The filming of the movie is taking place in Mancherial from the past four days and all precautionary measures are being followed by the film production as per the revised covid-19 norms.
The actress will next be seen in Akhil starrer ‘Most Eligible Bachelor’ and ‘Amma Deevena’.
