Trivikram Compares ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramlo’ With His Own ‘Athadu’!

2020 has been a nightmare for everyone except for Allu Arjun and Trivikram Srinivas. They delivered a huge blockbuster like ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramlo’ during the Sankranti season last year. As the film completed one year, the team celebrated with a grand reunion.

As expected, Trivikram gave an entertaining and insightful speech that arrested the audience. He compared his journey of ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramlo’ with a love story as he recalled some memorable moments during the production like Bobby asking him to reshoot a particular scene, the impactful first scene with Eeshwari Rao, tension during interval scene filming and many others, He even remembered the first time Tabu came to the film’s set and Thaman making him hear the violin version of Samajavaragamana.

He said that sharing memories about this film is like newlyweds showing their wedding album. He funnily commented that ‘Ala Vaikuntapuramlo’ is going to be like ‘Athadu’ which will be repeatedly telecasted in Gemini. He thanked all the team members including actors and technicians. The star director even said ‘I Love You’ to Samuthirakani and claimed that he doesn’t usually say it to male actors.

Trivikram is currently waiting for NTR to complete ‘RRR’ so that he can start working on their wholesome entertainer.

Team ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’ Shines In The Reunion Bash

As Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo completed one year after its release in 2020, the cast and crew of the film had a reunion bash on Monday in Hyderabad. The film was one of the most talked-about movies of TFI and created a fair deal of buzz among fans. It turned out to be one of the highest-grossing Telugu films, earning over Rs 200 crore.

Director Trivikram Srinivas’ making, S Thaman’s music and Allu Arjun’s alluring dance moves have taken the film to a next level and gave the team a remarkable victory.

Kerala Government Waives Entertainment Tax For Theatres

The film industry, mainly the theatre business, was badly hit during the Covid-19 pandemic. In a move to help the industry in the state, the Kerala government on Monday exempted cinema theatres from paying entertainment tax in Kerala till March this year.

The Chief Minister of Kerala Pinarayi Vijayan said in a Tweet that theatres have been exempted from paying entertainment tax in the state from January to March 2021 along with 50 per cent reduction in the fixed charges on electricity during the lockdown period since March last year.

“Exempted cinema theatres from entertainment tax from Jan to Mar(2021). Fixed electricity charges reduced by 50% for the 10 months during when theatres were closed. The validity of various licenses extended. Our creative industries will play a crucial part in the recovery,” he wrote on the microblogging site.

Meanwhile, the Kerala Film Chamber Of Commerce thanked CM Pinarayi Vijayan for the decision and accepting all the demands with record speed. On the other hand, there is no certainty yet on whether the Goods and Services Tax on movie tickets has been lessened or not.

Varun Tej Had An Awesome First Day On The Sets Of ‘F3″

Venkatesh and Varun Tej starrer ‘F2: Fun and Frustration’ is one of the biggest hits of Telugu film industry. Tamannaah Bhatia and Mehreen Kaur Pirzada played the lead roles in this comic entertainer. The sequel to F2 was officially launched recently making the reunion of the lead actors from the first part.

Titled F3, the new project will be directed by Anil Ravipudi and produced by Dil Raju under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations.The latest update is that Mega hero Varun Tej, who recovered from the Covid-19, has joined the sets of F3 on Monday. Director Anil Ravipudi has posted a photo of himself with Varun on the sets on F3.

Sharing the picture, the director welcomed the actor to the sets and wrote, “Fun begins on the sets again!!!” Retweeting the same picture, the Mister actor wrote, “Anil brooo! Had an awesome first day at the shoot. See you tomorrow! #F3movie.”The makers of the film are planning to complete the shooting portions by March and are aiming to release F3 in the mid of May.

Besides this, Varun Tej also has an untitled boxing sports drama in his kitty. The film is written and directed by debutant Kiran Korrapati. It is bankrolled by Allu Venkatesh and Sidhu Mudda under Renaissance Pictures banner while producer Allu Aravind is presenting the film.

Buzz: Prabhas’s heroine in consideration for NTR30

Trivikram is presently finalizing the lead cast of his next with project with Jr NTR. He is yet to take the final call on the female lead but there are a few names in consideration for the role.Apparently, Shraddha Kapoor who was seen in Prabhas’s action thriller Saaho is one of the front-runners to bag the female lead role in NTR30.

It is being said that both Jr NTR and Trivikram are interested in roping in Shraddha for the film.Tarak and Trivikram are planning to project NTR30 as a pan-India films and they opine that Shraddha’s inclusion in the star cast will vastly increase the canvas and market of the film.

We have been hearing multiple rumors regarding the female lead in NTR30 but the makers are yet to provide a consolidated update.Tarak is expected to join NTR30 shoot from this summer and Trivikram wants to zero in on the cast by February or March.
