A week ago, actress Rakul Preet Singh tested positive for Covid-19 after shooting some part for her forthcoming film ‘Mayday’. The actress who always keeps her fans well informed, notified that she has contracted the virus and shared about her health on twitter. Many outpouring messages of care and support came in as reply to her tweet. Rakul quarantined herself for a week under medical supervision.
Today the actress once again took to Twitter to share the good news that she tested negative for covid-19. She thanked everyone for their immense love and support.
The tweet in the black backdrop pic read, “Happy to share that I have tested negative for Covid-19. I am feeling absolutely fine. Thank you all. Your wishes and love can’t wait to start 2021 with good health and positivity”. She further added a side note urging everyone to be responsible by wearing masks and take all necessary precautions.
On the professional front, the actress will soon be featured in Sivakarthikeyan starrer ‘Ayalaan’ directed by Ravikumar and Kamal Haasan’s ‘Indian 2’ helmed by Shankar in Tamil.
She is soon to be back on ‘Mayday’ sets from January 2021.
